Wireless is more disabled on Tecra A9

Hello

I can't turn on wireless on my A9. Used to work. Drivers are supposed to be working ok. I have WiFi Link 4965AGN and have now run out of ideas. Advice please. Thank you.

Hello

Using Win XP, you need to install the common modules initially:
http://Support1.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/CMOD-20070723150307.zip

Then install the wireless keyboard shortcut
http://Support1.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/wlkey-20080822164237.zip

Then install it * RIGHT * Wireless Lan Driver and Wireless Lan Client Manager

NOTE: the Tecra A9 has been fitted with an Intel or Atheros Wlan card.
So be sure that you are using the correct driver.
If the driver has not been installed, then you'd be unable to wireless network card be activated!

This is the second time this question has had this machine. The first time, it has been resolved by applying the defaults in the BIOS.
Now, 6 months later it's back:

1 opportunity F9 and F10 in Bios to reapply the default settings

There is a setting in Connection Manager > Preferences > power to the device , which CAN be assigned to turn off the wireless / Bluetooth when you have left the connection manager.  You must Select / SET parameter.  You can see, just in case...  I never heard talk of the Connection Manager turn off wireless, unless it was to make it to the exit.

You can do the following in the Device Manager to leave the power to the wireless and Bluetooth devices:

Control Panel > display icon > Device Manager > network adapters >

Right click on the WiFi link (Intel) (wording may vary) >

    in Properties > Powermanagement >

Clear the check BOX "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    Ok

    Do the same for Bluetooth...

    I hope this helps...

  • G60-458dx Wireless card is disabled after waking up from his sleep.

I have a g60-458dx which is less than a year. My wireless card is disabled when I wake the computer from sleep mode and takes me a few minutes fiddling with the wireless, near the power button button to operate.

I have installed and reinstalled all the drivers, set the power settings and my laptop power mode, but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I think I have fixed the problem. HP wireless Assistant fixed somehow. I'm seriously confused but I've never had to install in the past.

I spent between ubuntu and windows 7 a few good times, and the problem began after about 2 weeks of my second installed ubuntu. I have no idea why, on the eve of the card network wireless became a hard block and I couldn't understand why.

I tried various things such as deactivation and activation of wireless networks / adapter, looking for the latest version of the driver etc without success.

I activated the WiFi to the computer (setting of the HW switch) and but if I go through the (Systemsteuerung) Control Panel and Device Manager I get the message AdapterLAN connection or the wireless function is disabled

Did you choose the service Wlan using FN + F8 buttons configuration?
Please do! It s is not enough to just change the hard WLan switch position.
In addition, you must use the FN + F8 buttons to activate the WLan.

If it would not help, please update the WLan driver!

  • -SOLVED! -PCI or USB wireless adapter is disabled and will not activate on Windows 7

    The solution: uninstall ZoneAlarm!

I spent 3 days and 3 different cards, trying to solve this problem. First of all, I bought a Netgear PCI wireless adapter. Installed according to the instructions. Device Manager showed the adapter works properly but turned off and nothing I tried would enable the adapter.

NETGEAR has taken over to the store and buy a Linksys PCI wireless adapter. Exactly the same problem. Device Manager, said the adapter worked correctly, but turned off and would not turn on.

So I called Linksys support and paid them only for the remote service and they couldn't get it to work either (of course to return money). They suggest is to contact Microsoft technical support or buy the USB version.

I went and picked up the USB (WUSB600-N v.2) version today and guess what? Exactly the same problem. Device Manager showed the device works correctly, but turned off and would not turn on. After talking to a few other technicians in addition to myself, we agreed that the only other option was to reinstall windows. But just before I decided to do, I checked one last time to Google and came across a post in the forums of Vista by someone who had the same exact problem, uninstalled ZoneAlarm and then worked their wireless adapter.

Well, I decided to try that before reinstalling windows. As soon as I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and the computer restarts, the adapter has been activated and automatically found my network! This means that ZoneAlarm control network on the computer and for some reason cards some not allowing a wireless adapter is enabled.

Then I tried to re-setup of ZoneAlarm. After that I have re-installed, my wireless adapter became instantly disabled and would not turn on again. So I uninstalled ZoneAlarm at all times. My router has SPI and NAT firewall on top of the Windows Firewall, so I need anyway ZA.

If you have ZoneAlarm, get rid of it. If you still experience the problem of your card activating Wireless does not and have ZoneAlarm, try to uninstall any firewall software 3rd - party that you have already installed (not the Windows Firewall).

I was really frustrated after spending 3 days with 3 different adapters and many trips to stores using the adapters and buy different cards. I'm glad I found this post on the forums of Vista, so the credit goes to the one who made this post.

On a side note, after I installed the drivers from the CD and Linksys site, Windows update has shown there is an updated driver on the site of Ralink which I installed it and so far no problem. My WUSB600-N automatically connected to the strip of the 5 GHz on my router dual band and speeds are ultra fast and signal is strong in a completely different room.

Hope this information helps others finally solve this problem.

    See you soon,.

    Matt

64-bit, but it should work on either. ZoneAlarm includes network connections and was not what allows the adapter to be activated. Even close ZoneAlarm does not work either. ZoneAlarm must be uninstalled from the card must be activated.

Vista drivers work fine with this adapter. Then a Windows Update is the updated drivers for Ralink which also work very well.

If you have properly installed the drivers and display device manager the device works correctly, but disabled, and then uninstall any firewall/antivirus 3 rd-party should do the trick.

I am a tech, more I consulted other technicians as well as paid for technical support of Linksys and nobody could understand this problem and it's no wonder. Who would have thought that ZoneAlarm or any 3rd part antivirus/firewall software would take complete control over network connections and not to allow a new network adapters must be installed correctly.

If anyone needs any help other than that, feel free to ask.

  • Verizon HP mini 311-1037nr wireless WWAN modem disabled

I had my mini 311-1037nr since November last with no real problem. Last week you think I went to connect Verizon's network and he said that the wwan device has been disabled. It does sometimes, and usually all it takes, this is for you to turn on/off the modem to reset. Well this time it does not. After shooting to the top of the HP wireless assistant, he says that the WWAN had been disabled in Device Manager. This led to me spend many hours pouring through the Device Manager, as well as other elements of control panel that would help and I had no where. In Device Manager, the WWANN is not yet listed. I'm starting to assume that drivers I've screwed up and need to be redownloaded, but before I did I just wanted to make sure that I was not on something obvious... and I don't want to ruin my computer still having two copies of drivers installed. I'm not the most skilled person when it comes to the comp but I know enough to understand my way... any advice on this issue would be more useful... and thank you very much for your time.

    What I've done so far:

    1. reset to factory settings.

2 checked that I can RDP to the laptop when connected via WIRED.

    3. the firewall is completely disabled (domain, public, and private networks) on BOTH computers so I tried RDP.

  • Problem HP 6500 wireless has more and linksys E2000 router

    Hello

Just bought a HP 65000 has more the printer today and want to connect it to my wireless router, which works very well for all my other devices and worked very well for my old Epson as well.

    The router configuration:

    Security: WPA/WPA2 Mixed Mode

    Channel: 6

    Band 2.4 Ghz

Configure a static ip address 192.168.1.22 for HP based on its mac address.

Sometimes printer says that it cannot find the network, which results in FAILURE messages on the wireless network test report. other times it connects, gets the right ip address, which translates as PASS messages on the test report, but it seems to disconnect again because he repeats to me it is not connected and I don't find it with any computer. The website of the printer is also not available.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your time.

What brand/model of router and what kind of ISP?  Have you tried to channel 11?
