Hello

Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry for HP Wireless Assistant and select uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and reinstall HP Wireless Assistant from the link below.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp44501-45000/sp44700.exe

When the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

When windows rebooted, open the HP wireless Assistant, click the properties button, enter a tick against "Independent controls for wireless devices installed" and then click on the button "turn on all.

Kind regards

  • Computer won't wake up from sleep with Windows 7 sp1 installed

I have a problem very persistent and annoying.

My office don't always sleep wake. When you wake the computer, fans turn and everything becomes energized, but the screen stays off. The only option at this point is to press on and hold the power button or turn the power off. Windows does not start, run and shutdown normally, but it fails every time trying to wake up from its sleep. The problem started after I installed Windows 7 service pack 1 and disappears if the service pack is uninstalled.

I have a motherboard EVGA FTW3 with a Crucial C300 SSD as my main drive. I thought I had found a solution with http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2495523 but it didn't work. My bios is up to date, the firmware is up to date on my SSD and my the Marvell controller firmware is current. I tried to plug my SSD in the Intel SATA ports (and disable the controller Marvell making) but it did not help. I went through every setting imaginable, with the support of EVGA, tried to turn off "Allow hybrid sleep" in the power of the BIOS settings. The only change I found that 'fixed' the problem is uninstall Windows 7 service pack 1.

    My computer specs:

    Card mother EVGA FTW3

    Processor Core i7 980 x

    Memory Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 (3 X 4 GB)

    EVGA GTX 580 graphics

Crucial C300 SATA 6.0 Gps SSD

Western Digital 1 TB SATA 6.0 Gps data drive

    NVIDIA 3d Vision Kit

I use the latest drivers for all devices because I clean just installed Windows 4 days to try to resolve the situation.

Beta EVGA Bios recovery mode fixed 80 S3 sleep for me also. Everything seems to work perfectly after that I did the bios flash.

  • Satellite U300 cargo stops when wake up from sleep mode

My U300 has some issues loading. If I connect the charger mode 'sleep', then wake up the laptop it stops in charge, even if the adapter is still plugged. The battery icon says he's in charge, but the percentage of the battery decreases. And there is no warning when it hits empty, he just cut.

I think there also the same when I'm in charge it execution state and then switch to hibernation. It does not seem to pay even if the adapter is still plugged.

To be honest I never noticed similar problems with my laptop
It seems very strange and here in the forum, we could provide only a few suggestions

So first of all, it would be desirable to update the BIOS. The update of the BIOS sometimes makes wonders ;)

What in the Vista update? Do you still run the update of the OS?
From my experience, Microsoft publishes a lot of hofixes and fixes which corrects several different problems

Last but not least, we should not exclude a hardware problem.
In this case, the latter would be the ASP!

  • Brand new MacBook Pro to wake up from sleep

My brand new 15 inch MacBook Pro wakes up not sleep if left for a period of time.

If I shake the mouse or press a key, the keyboard will wake up and turn on if it's dark, I see a cursor on the screen but the screen remains black. Sometimes the beachball runs but the screen never lights up unless I do a force quit.

I understand with El Capitan, you must rely on the power switch to wake up from a deep sleep, but unless I hold it long enough to do a force quit and restart, I can't wake the computer. I use version 10.11.2

    Someone else has this problem?

Since the upgrade to Yosemite, my macbook pro goes to the loading screen grey which usually appears when opening my laptop after that he almost dies everytime I wake up from sleep mode. It freezes on this screen for a few moments, and then when I get to my normal screen, it continues to remain frozen for an extra few minutes. The mouse will not work until a "Set up Bluetooth keyboard" menu appears, then disappears. The problem has persisted through several software updates. I searched endless forums and topics, but none seem to match my problem. Can anyone help?

I tried a n y t h i n g for a few months, revisiting the forums etc. The message in the system log, leaving the "driver GPU seems to be suspended. Does my Mac Pro completely unworkable. It was a software problem because it does not occur in safe mode. Now I just went down to the Mavericks and the problem is completely resolved. I can use my computer again.

Crush the display flashes for 2-3 minutes after that mini mac wakes up from sleep

If you have another Thunderbolt cable, plug it into the unused port on the

Thunderbolt Display and then in the Mini and see if the same thing happens.

What you can see is a precursor of the poster, built out of the cable.

At least, it could eliminate a costly repair problem.  Although the cable itself is not

expensive, opening to the top of the screen of TB to replace could be.

Well that not connected on a Mini, I began to see in similar behavior my

iMac, so that there was finally a break in the complete cable.

  • Currently I have the two ("FreeCell" and "Spider") to 99% of victories and want to keep the TWO scores is going when I go from Vista to Windows 7.

    Original title: spider solitaire

OK, this may sound stupid, but I play a lot of solitaire in the form of "FreeCell" and "Spider". (thousands of games scored, both were copied from XP to Vista)

Currently, so 99% of wins, and here to keep the TWO scores will when I go from Vista to Windows 7.

Is it possible to transfer the scores as well as two games?

I moved/copied two games on a secondary hard drive (the two files of game of the C; \program files\microsoft games\ freecell) (& spider solitaire) including hidden files.

I'm just worried, scores can be kept elsewhere in another folder & I'll lose them... two .mui is copied to the new folder as well as the rest of the files (in the case of assistance)

Someone tell me if the scores will transfer more once I have switch to Win7? Or do I have to look elsewhere?

    Thank you.

You run Easy Transfer on the Vista installation, and then restore from Windows 7.

Easy transfer should should be on the files that contain the stats but I don't know if they will be compatible. Since they resumed their XP to Vista, I do not see why they not well with Windows 7.

Regarding Windows Mail, what I understand, it can be done, but it is not taken in charge and there may be unforeseen problems accordingly.
