  I tried everything I can think with it - enabling/disabling virtual memory (XP) on the host or client, performance parameters, change the virtual computer's memory size, etc..

  It happens sometimes strange - when I'm just typing (as in this sentence - it just did it) and is happening in the virtual machines that are different sizes of memory.  It seems to happen in all virtual machines, regardless of their size of the memory.  (I have VMs from 512megs upwards) It happens when I'm under VM only one or more - it seems worse when running more than one, but not linear. at the least not bad enough to keep me from running more than one.  (I usually use only one or two virtual machines) It never happens if I am not under VMware. If I'm just under apps on the host.

  It does not matter what applications I use in the client.  Definition of VMware to keep everything in memory does not help.  Disable the removal of pages of memory doesn't help.  (which shouldn't matter if I run only 1 VM, would it?)  Newspapers are disabled. I have configured VMware to use the maximum of the reserved memory (3456meg).  There is no worse if I run apps in the host (usually just one editor, sometimes Firefox, sometimes Nero Burning Disc)

  I am baffled by the latter.  It seems to be deteriorating lately, but maybe it's just my annoyance level Crescent...  I'm not sure; I think that way started when I went to this laptop, but I'm not sure.

  I can't help you get the recovery disks to work, but if you can read all 25 characters of the product key 7 windows on the bottom of your PC, you can do your own installation disc 7 windows to reinstall the operating system.

  Here's how:

  If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.

In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time.   The laptop in question (TOSHIBA Satellite A300D) recently stopped starting (BSoD).

  So, I tried using the recovery disk, but there is no help. What happens is:
  -After about 10 minutes of waiting, the first language menu load, so I click on "next".
  - Then I again click Next and accept the message that my HARD drive will be erased
  - Then I see a cmd prompt that says "try to remove all the letters of partitions possible...". »
  -There is also a minimized command prompt that says something like "RAID failed to initialize."
  -And then nothing happens.

  Is this a hardware problem? I also tried a full installation (instead of recovery), which, even once, is simply not. None of the errors is - it just freezes.

  It is not easy to tell what can be the problem, but if you were not able to install the OS by using two different facilities CDs/DVDs, so there must be a problem with the HARD drive.

  The warranty is still valid?
  I mean you can contact the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and explain the situation. They can swap the HDD and again test the recovery procedure.

  I have an iMac 27 "retina 5K (end of 2015) El Capitan (10.11.2) and 10 Windows via Bootcamp.   This morning when I had finished work on the Windows of the machine side, I tried to start in El Capitan, but it failed silently and turned off the machine itself about the 2 minute point.  I tried new and same problem.  So I checked if I could go back to Windows and ran 10 Windows without problem.  Then I started in the Mac recovery partition to run disk utility and it revealed a considerable number of errors on the Macintosh partition such as:

  -Previous ID in a string of hard link is incorrect (ID =-1130612101)

  (it should be 3164355194 instead of 0)

  Several of the above errors appeared with different numbers

  -Volume bitmap minor meds of repair for orphans blocks

  -County of block free invalid volume

  -Volume header needs minor repairs

  -Lack of notice of thread (id =-1130634630)

  Several of the above errors appeared with different numbers

  Finally the process 'done' with the 'first aid process has failed.  If possible to backup the data on this volume.

  Then I started in an installed USB version of the El Capitan, and while it was successful, he launched a warning when he mounted the volume that I had the problem with: "OS X cannot repair the disk"Macintosh HD"" but I was able to copy the files from this volume and even run applications that have been stored on it.  Tried to run disk utility and first aid in vain as above.

  I have a Mac Book Pro (mid-2012) which ran OS 10.9 Mavericks, which I upgraded to El Captain a few days ago. My Seagate external backup more BK 1 TB hard drive was working fine (reading, writing, all things were very good) with the Mavericks.   I try to use a USB drive to recovery W8 (made with the acer recovery management) in my S3-391.  The computer starts not with a USB key into one of the ports.  When turned on, the computer will display the "Acer" screen, then the screen goes black, then the "Acer" screen is displayed again, and then the screen goes black again.  It buckle like that until I hold down the power button for a hard cock.  Pressing F2 or delete only put the BIOS or something.  The computer starts well W8 and BIOS without anything connected to the USB ports.  I'm still under BIOS v. 2.07, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it, since I can't do the BIOS with USB in. I've never updated a BIOS but I'm decently computer and could probably google my way through it, if you think it will help.

  There are two reasons, the internal help file is displayed.  Being the command vmware-vdiskmanager is executed without arguments, and the other is a bad command line, including the last one is the problem in your use case!
