with version 3.6.3 disaply is only half of the screen

I've updated to version 3.6.3 and now the screen is half of my big screen. Google Crome uses the entire screen and IE 3/4 of it. I'm looking on the site of the Washington Post. Thank you

This has happened

Each time Firefox opened

is after 3.6.3 upgrade

Width or height?
Some pages are coded with a fixed width.
In this case, Firefox doesn't fill the entire width of the screen.
You can zoom the page through the view > Zoom > Zoom in (Ctrl +), but this will enlarge everything on this page.
Make sure 'Zoom text only' is not selected.

    Hello

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620 copier copies only half of the document

During the adjustment of the glass my copier copies only half of the page. When cope since the charger it leaves one side of my page off the coast. I've only had it a few weeks and do not know what to do. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Hello @mburrand welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you are having problems to copy output.  I'd love to try to help you, but I need some information first. I'm a link a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find what operating system you are using. In addition, if you are using Windows, please indicate if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Mac OS X: how to find which Mac OS X Version is on my computer?
Operating system Windows am I running?
Is the Version of Windows on my computer 32-bit or 64-bit?

In the meantime, I recommend that you perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Windows that display only half of the disk capacity

I have a new laptop HP EliteBook with Windows 7 SP1 is installed. SSD has 500 GB, but the system is only half of the disk capacity show.

What can we do?  Thank you.

CHKDSK discovered...  0 KB in bad sectors. 719099 KB in use by the system. 65536 KB occupied by the log file. 89854676 KB available on disk. 4 096 bytes in each allocation units total 60636159 the disk allocation unit. 22463669 allocation units available on disk.

Coincidentally reduce then extend the volume again?

CHKDSK is essentially a tool of file system and the capacity of the disc that you see in the Explorer disc property is actually the size of the file system rather than the physical size of the volume, the physical size of the volume is based on the head of sector, while the size of the file system is based on the number of clusters (allocation units).  The file system has a total of clusters 60636159 x 4096 bytes = 248,365,707,264 bytes.

Different size according to the different tools are both correct, but the file system is not using the entire partition, you need to extend the file system with the Diskpart tool.

At a command prompt, enter the following commands:

    C:\ > DISKPART
    DISKPART > list Volume
DISKPART > select volume c (here, you can use the figures given by the Volume of the order list or use the actual letter of the volume, in your case 'c')

    DISKPART > extend filesystem
    DISKPART > exit (exit Diskpart)

Here is a screenshot of the procedure:

The file system extension is relatively safe, but as always you should ensure that you have a good backup of your files before doing any kind of work of system disk/partition or file.

    Original title: device: printer

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a user of windows from win98, and I never had a problem with the printer that I couldn't solve. But now, my printer prints only half of the document, and troubleshooting said: there is no problem, I printed the rpinter windows test page, but I only got half! in view of this, I wonder if you would be so kind as to send me the solution to my problem, my resources and understanding have exhausted. Thank you in anticipation of your kind cooperation.

    Hi Sergio,

We would like to ask after the details with you to help you to come.

    (1) what is the brand and model of your computer?

    (2) don't you make changes to the printer settings prior to this problem?

    (3) is the issue limited to any particular document?

    (4) do you get an error when the printer is unable to print?

You might face this question when the printer drivers are corrupt or if the Windows service does not work properly. Follow the troubleshooting methods listed below.

  • How half of the screen any part half scrollable and another screen with scrolling

    Hi all

I am new to BB plz help me on this.

Right now, the problem I'm facing is to make the left part of the screen fixed. For now, I wanted to show the list of n records to the right of the screen and wanted to show three buttons on the left side of the screen. When any user will scroll to display the records I want buttons remain fixed on the left side of the screen (No_Vertical_Scroll).

Now I create a HorizontalFieldManager in which there are two verticalFieldManager so I can split the screen.

I did the leftVerticalManager No_Vertical_Scroll and rightVerticalManager like VERTICAL_SCROLL, but when I scroll the screen both part began to scroll for the buttons on the left side mount are still not fixed.

    Thanks in advance

    I think so

You can set the main screen is not first with scrolling

Add a verticalFieldManager with fixed height half of the screen, the value of the scrollable

then add a verticalFieldManger to the value of the scrollable

    Maybe it should work

  • Finally two updates slightly incompatible with Windows 8.1, appearance of flicker black dots on the screen?

I would say that this last two updates. latest Firefox version 32.0 have a compatibility issue with Windows 8.1.
My laptop newly bought worked fine with Firefox until recently. About two to three days before, during the navigation. blackheads should blink on the screen. At first, I figured well problem of pixel, but after testing the same sites with IE 11, these black glitter points seemed not at all. I tested it with chrome and no points.
These black spots have not appeared before on Firefox, only recently. Unfortunately, I'm very uncomfortable with the use of Firefox that I had been using this browser since 2005, but this compatibility issue makes it difficult, cause flickering points can be annoying.

What you describe was reported before and it is almost always bound by graphics drivers. Firefox will (by default) use hardware acceleration to help speed up the rendering etc. On some graphics cards/driver combinations (most with Intel video) people reported black dots. Disabling the hardware acceleration option usually clears this up.

    Does look like this: https://bug913419.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=831738

    Some other threads for reference:
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/974717
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/856277

It is not limited to Win8.1 - were reported on both Linux and workaround there is to change the method of hardware acceleration... until the Intel video driver has been updated.
