    Hi @jedi11csa,

Thank you very much to get back again.

I just talked with a few colleagues in this regard, and this problem seems to be more a matter of Windows operating system, if the computer displays that USB related errors as well as the installation had not yet reached the point where it asks you to select your connection type.

Maybe it's an investigation that is best suited for community Microsoft Forums as my resources have been exhausted in this respect.

I hope that you are able to find the solution you need.

    Thank you.

  • USB Port driver problems

Windows XP Professional will not recognize my key USB flash drive in the USB ports before; However, it does not recognize the flash drive in the back USB ports of the Tower pc which is very annoying. How can I get the drive J it is called on the front USB port of the tower to recognize my flash drive? I want so that it can detect the flash drive as soon as I insert it into the front USB port. In addition, the front USB does not detect my Ipod USB port or USB digital camera.

Sometimes the front USB ports are not yet connected, so it's good to open the suitcase and check. Sometimes these ports on the motherboard just died, especially if the computer is old.

Have the ports before does not work, is a very common problem that can have various reasons:

Unfortunately, it will be difficult for someone who is not practical with the computer to help effectively. It's strictly a hardware problem and nothing to do with Windows.

A good solution is to buy a USB hub (I prefer those motorized), attach it to a rear USB port, but do it right from the start where it provides additional ports are easily accessible. USB hubs are not terribly expensive, around $ 25-30 for a motor home. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Vinnie

    Hi Vinnie,

I suggest you try the following steps to refine the question:

Step 1: connect the USB device to a different USB port and test it.

When a device is not functioning, Device Manager also typically displays an error message with an error code that comes with it. First, search for errors in the Manager of devices to do this, follow the steps below:

Step 2: Disconnect the USB device, then on startup, check for the error code in Device Manager

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. in Device Manager, look for the USB device, and then double-click the device name.
    3. under the gaze of general tab for the status of the device for any error code indicated.

  • USB mass storage device driver problem

I have 64 bit computer purchased new in July 2012, running Windows 7 with a Lexmark Interpret S405 printer.  It has been installed and works well for months and today, I asked a print a page on a Web site, and it would not print.  I received an error message indicating that the printer cannot communicate with the computer.  I tried to delete the request for printing, but the computer did not respond.  So I rebooted it.  After it restarted, I went to devices and printers to check the printer, and there the image representing that she needed troubleshooting.  Tried, but it did not fix the problem.  Then I received another message: USB Mass Storage Device has a driver problem.  Tried to find and install the updates for it, but the info said that the driver was already installed.  Can you help me solve this problem?  I'm not a computer scientist, just a frustrated computer user.  Thank you!

I asked a question yesterday about an error message that says: USB Mass Storage Device has a driver problem.  This morning I tried unplugging the power to the printer and then plugged back in.... problem solved.  No need for additional assistance at this time.  Thanks anyway!

    iannugent,

In case you still have questions, because I had the same problem myself, the pilot would have to stop when the registry was refreshing.  However, he could not find a driver dependent and would not completely load the driver, that "off" your internet connection.

    The solution is to

    -Open your device manager,

-Find the SAMSUNG NDIS device under network adapters

-Right-click on the troubled device and select Update driver software

-Select Browse my computer for software driver

-Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer

-Select Remote NDIS based Internet sharing devices and click Next

.. .that should be your dependent on engine and you should have no problem thereafter I've not had any since.  In addition, there was no reboot needed.  Windows figured it all as soon as I installed this driver dependent

    I hope this helps.

This is the result of not not more likely USB ports. You can try to update the drivers of usb device, but if the problem there is not a lot you can do otherwise than to buy an expansion usb card. You can disable usb error reports to stop seeing the error.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/329632

    1. open Device Manager

2 expand the Bus USB controllers section. Are looking for, then
Double-click a host controller that has either the word "Universal" or
    'Open' in the title.

    3. in the Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab, and then select the checkbox 'don't tell me about USB errors ".
Note: If you deselect this option, all other USB error messages will also die.
