  Bird and soagent are the normal processes of Apple. Bird is one of the procedures used with the synchronize documents iCloud. soagent is used in conjunction with the Messages. In normal circumstances or will require an excessive amount of time processor.   When the computer is switched on 1, start pressing F8 until you get a menu of Windows startup, choose Safe Mode.

  Sounds like something important happened (corruption).  If you have important data there (for example, your wives, diploma work), I would strongly suggest taking the computer to a qualified technician so that they can recover data out of there before the drive goes down or the o/s is too damaged.
