  Have you used the latest version of the software on the HP site?

  If not, uninstall the printer from programs > HP > printer folder and then install the latest version below:

  I suspect also any security program which may block the network connection (assuming that by the description of problem on a single user), temporary disable any software firewall running and check if that can cause printing to stay in spool it print.

  Try to run the HP print and Scan doctor, click on network > firewall help and make sure any firewall running is disabled, then follow Fiox print and check what is happening:

• LaserJet Pro 400 M451nw: Laserjet Pro 400 prints documents upside down

  My Laserjet Pro 400 prints documents upside down.  This only happens when you print in black and white, and from certain applications.  Files PDF and Word documents print very well, as plain txt files and files from my accounting software, but files CorelDraw and images in Photoshop CS5 reverse print.

  If I saved a CorelDraw file in PDF format, it will print correctly, but not the native file of COR.

  From Photoshop, it makes no difference what file format I print - jpeg, tif or even a file not saved - all printed reversed if I select black and white.

  Colour printing is fine for all applications.

  Like most of my needs to print b & w, I the printer defined as it as default and just change color when the need arises, but it means I lose lots of toner if I don't remember to print in color in CorelDraw or Photoshop.  Printing an image to grayscale in color also gives the evil eye.

  Any help appreciated.

  Hi my HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer will not print envelopes and labels. I can print documents in the usual way.   In the latest batch of updates to Windows, Microsoft has installed Internet Explorer 11. IE11 caused printer problems.

  Open Internet Explorer, click on help, then click about words of Internet Explorer. It should show the version here. If you IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, updates installed, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.

  Restart the computer when you are prompted. Then see if your printer works.

  My laserjet pro 400 m401 will pick up paper from the tray. I have not changed the paper I use. It's # 20 at Georgia-Pacific paper. The printer has not been dropped or abused. If anything, we have treated the printer very carefully and gently. Therefore, I suspect any damage physical/mechanical/electronic. The feed roller makes a squeaking/squealing noise when it runs. The printer then times out and the screen displays the message "no paper pickup. All stop there.

  I fixed it myself! One of the springs two compression at the end of the paper closest to the front of the printer tray became weaker. I've removed, carefully strained it and reinstalled it, and it works as good as new.

I have HP 1020 printer and Windows 7 x 64, installed the latest printer drivers from the official site... but when I restart the computer there are no printers in the section "devices and printers" in the Panel. When I clik print format in Word for example, nothing happens, no print dialog box. When I click on add a printer in "devices and printers" it says "Windows can't open add printer." The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine. Printer driver not yet "solves" the problem but only until the next reboot and so much more... And there is no driver or something else with HP in the "Add Remove" section of the Control Panel, in order to clean uninstal and drivers.
