WLC service port

Hi, someone has tried to use the service port WLC as a management port vlan and routed as well.

Thnak you

You have to, and you should also make sure there is no communication between the managememnt / interface ap - manager and the service port. If there is, you will have problems and that's why I never connect the service on the network port. If your direction is down... most likely your wlc is down also.

    Hello

did anyone know, where I can change the web service port 9000 in Oracle BPM Studio?

    Thanks for your help!

    Kind regards

    Hi Matthias,
I already told you how do it, but I'm posting for the rest of the population:
I didn't know a place in the Studio to set this up, but I can't givo you workaround.
Change your engine.xml you should have in your eclipse workspace: ProjectName/config and the basis of the file, you have an entry that is wsListenerPort. Put these lines:

  • Get TCP Service Port number name

The TCP listen and the TCP create listener screws have an entry named 'Service name' base, once a listener is created in the LabVIEW application is it possible what service named is running on which port in an external application and query? The external application may or may not be developed in LabVIEW.

TCP exits create listener VI the port number used, this is useful information, but I don't see any automatic method for an external application to get this information?

C++ getservbyname function does not return the information given to the listener of LabVIEW TCP known, created and listen.

    The help of LabVIEW:

name of the service creates a reference known for the port number. If you specify a service name, LabVIEW saves the service name and the port number with the of Service Locator OR.

  • Lost service port IP console

    Hi all

I had to prepare a new site of the PRD, who should not be on our range of intellectual property. Everything worked fine with my service with a fixed IP console and I had no problem (link with a card, 4 ion total entwork). But unfortunately, I first create a VMkernel port with the different range of IP addresses and I add this new vswitch on the same network adapter and then I lost all link. I got 4 comments on this vm and evrything works but how do I do to get the good IP on the management console (ESXi)?

Please help as I have on-site engineer within 2 days for the installation of DOUBLE take.

    See you soon

esxcfg-vswif is your service console command. Something like:

    esxcfg-vswif - a console service Pei-i x.x.x.x-x.x.x.x - n

-an add Pei port set group name,-i = ip address you want to use the network mask - n for your network.

  • WLC 5508 Distribution Ports

    Dear community,

I have a small Q we should configure everything distribution WLC 5508 with speed 10/100 port to connect with the port fastethernet on cisco 3750.

By default, the WLC ports are ports gig is if there is a comand or the option to configure the port by decreasing its speedin wlc.

    OR

could connect us in the same status as wlc concert port wit 3750 port fastethernet switch, and there will be no shift of speed and it works perfectly. Honestly in my name it won't work like that.

Please tell us what is the best practice to do so.

i have a small Q that should we configure any of distribution port of WLC 5508 with speed 10/100 to connect it with cisco's 3750 on fastethernet port.

Will not work because the 5508 will negotiate to 1 GB only.

  • Impossible to get trunk port to work on 4402 and 6509

I'm having a problem getting circuits developed on a pair of 4402 I just expdis preconfigured.

    The switches are running Catos.

I've tried both using a SHIFT and individual ports on the WLC, and the only way I can access the WLC is when the switch port is configured as an access port.

Whenever I have change the link mode on, I lose access.

I tried to restart it and that didn't work either.

The subnet manager and ap - manager is in vlan 254, and I put the vlan native of the switch ports to VLANs 254.

I tried all forms of the sheath (desirable, nonegotiate etc.), but I just will not work.

I use this exact set elsewhere without any problems.

Controller was originally on 4.2.130 and is now on 5.1.150.

Someone has an idea or two?

Very well. First make sure that the wlc which management Manager and thus lies on the same vlan. Also, make sure that it is not signposted in the wlc which means that it is set to '0 '. On the trunk dot1q, assign it vlan native what the wlc is configured for. Make sure that you do not have the global command "tag dot1q vlan native. Also male that the service port has an ip address and not routable in your network.

  • WLC 5508 internal DHCP server issues

    Hello

I'm hoping to get your comments around the issues of dhcp, I faced with two centrally switched Wireless LAN. I have attempted to explain the installation and the problems below and would be grateful if anyone can suggest a solution for the problems I am facing:

    The configuration is the following:

-J' have a WLC 5508, which has been configured with 4 SSID, of which 2 are the Central authentication and commissioning.
-J' have a LWAP connected to the WLC in HREAP mode.
-WLC is configured as a DHCP server for clients that connect to the SSID "Guest." For the rest, I'm on external dhcp server.
-Only one scope of comments Interface is configured on the WLC.

    Problems:

    1. as far as I know, to WLC serve internal dhcp server, it is mandatory to have the proxy enabled, but the Clients connecting to 'Internet' SSID are

Unable to get an external dhcp server ip address, if the proxy dhcp is enabled on the WLC. If I disable the proxy, everything works fine.

2 DHCP does not release the ip addresses assigned to clients, even after that that they are connected.

    3. If a machine that has previously been connected to "Guest" SSID connects to the 'Internet' SSID, he asks the same ip address, he was charged by the WLC assigned under "Guest", it gets the tag with the Vlan configured on the management interface.

    The controller output *.

  • Cisco WLC 5508 password invalid? (Fixed! Thank you)

    Hi guys,.

This afternoon, I did a few tests in WLC in our network wireless company.

However, after my 3-hour test, I tried to connect new WLC by GUI and SSH. The username admin and the password doesn't work any more. In read-only and guest account did not work as well.

Is that someone has had this problem before? Is there a restriction on access to the CMT 3 hours or a day? Moreover, I do not have any password change.

    Thank you

Well well... something has changed on the WLC for this to happen.  That you were testing?  Changes in the configuration of your RADIUS and allows management or priority may cause you a problem if things are not set up right.  If that is the case, dissconnect the WLC on the network and connect to your service port or the console port and the connection.

If you are unable to open a session, here is a link for how to do a recovery of password on the WLC:

  • WLC existing 8510, switch mode with additional 8510-HA new HA SSO

    Hello

I have a stand-alone WLC 8510 running 8.0.100 and the need to turn it into a pair of SSO HA (high availability) with a new 8510-HA (SKU HA shows its designed to be a standby WLC)

The existing WLC is loaded with APs and I need to add the new WLC and configure SSO HA without interruption of service. I read about this and the documentation is not clear as to the best approach.

Can I preconfigure the new 8510-HA with its service port IP, IP and redundancy of peer IP redundancy and just connect the uplinks on the heart and the port of redundancy to the port of redundancy of 8510 without problem/shut down the existing system? (ensure the redundancy mode is still independent existing 8510)  Then when I get a window of change, I will then configure existing redundancy 8510 and 2 synchronize upward without reset it primary. Am I wrong? Or change of redundancy will introduce two 8510 refills?

Or y at - it a better method? and it's documented anywhere?

    Thanks for the tips!

  • Cisco 4400 WLC - access web GUI remotely

I know how to access the graphical interface from the service port. However, I am not able to access the site of Port 0. IPs have all been set correctly. We have a management VLAN in our company. I have configured the management interface of WLC for an ip address from that subnet. Port 0 is connected to a switch of 3560 G. I put the switch port to a port of access to the management of VLANs and I tried to make the switch as a trunk port, with the vlan native on the vlan management. I'm not able to ping, or access the web GUI remotely through the management VLAN. Is it normal?

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

Please try to set 0 as vlan on interface of management on WLC after configuration of vlan native on the switch. If you have not yet tried.

order - management configuration interface vlan 0

Note - You must children all wlan r mapped with management interface before any change in CLI.

hope this will solve your prob.

    Thank you

  • can someone tell me how to open port 8090, 8091 and 8092

I have windows vista Home premium with norton 360 and a motorola sbg900 cable modem

    Hi kazt279,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

This port is a somewhat less popular to port 80 to offer alternative to web services. (The most popular alternative port is 8080). Like the 8080, its use in a URL requires explicit "default port override" requires a web browser to connect to port 8080 instead of port 80 by default http.

Its current use and its importance today is due to contiguity to the World Wide Web port80 is super-popular "http". Sometimes a webserver "off the beaten path' will be established to not listen to port 80, but other related port 81, 82, 8080 or 8090. (Associates of proximity or appearance). If port 81 is remarkable today because it is a neighbouring port 80 and is sometimes used as a complement or alternative, in the same way.

However, as we explained in our page for port 80, port 80 is the port of 'default' for the http web Protocol. How, then, if you want to use a different 'port' 81 or 8090, substitute us this value by default to specify port we want?

    http://www.domain.com:81 /.

If we want to replace the default service port that is implied by the Protocol (http), we put a colon (:)) after party of domain name followed by the port, we want to use. The URL above would cause the browser replace its normal use of port 80 for http and instead try to connect to a server that listens to "www.domain.com" for connections on port 81.

If you ever see a URL using this format, with a number after a colon after the field of the URL, you'll know that this URL is asking the browser to connect to a server who listens to incoming connections on the specified rather than the default port.

Since you give exceptions to these ports in the windows firewall or any other firewall of the 3 part, they're not monitored which means that they are susceptible to hackers. I would say activating only not the ports unless it is very important. If you enable them to, of course, you do not keep the important information on this computer.

    I hope this helps.

Let us know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Kind regards

  • Services microsoft Windows 7

I think I have a horse of Trojan, virus or another infection on my desktop HP DX 2300. Most of the Microsoft services in looking at msconfig, in respect of services, is arrested. I had this same problem with my desktop Dell that I had the same problem with. I also have an HP printer that is connected to the Dell and it wouldn't print, so I called HP support tech, he took control of my Dell and solved the problem, but first of all, he wanted 250.00 for repair. I explained to him that I only receive a monthly disability and could not possibly afford. He decided he would do me a favor of time the fix for free since I bought a new HP printer. Can someone PLEASE, help me solve this problem and get these services running back? I'm not very good at this kind of problem. This computer HP Windows 7 Home Premium.Thank works you very well. Robert...

Not all Microsoft services are running all the time. I just had a peek in my W7-MSCONFIG-SERVICES and many of the services listed MS is marked as STOPPED. That in itself is not particularly unusual.

Can you list some examples of services that are stopped are you worried, then maybe someone can help others.

If you think you have malicious software on your PC, then try the following:

1 update your antivirus program and run a full scan

2 download, install, update and run a scan for free with (free) Malwarebytes. Keep it free, no need to start a trial etc.

3 download, install, update and run a full scan with SuperAntiSpyware(free). Yet once, download the free version.

If all three scans reports a clean machine, it's a good sign that you are not infected.

You should have only a single AntiVirus in real time of the time program (MSE, Norton, AVG etc.) installed and running to just anyone. If you have or have had other scanners time real Anti Virus installed on your PC, then choose one to stay and completely remove the others. Some real-time scanners will clash with each other and can slow down your PC or it crash. Two listed above (Malwarebytes and Superantispyware) scanners are OK to install it as you run them only upon request of the scanners as a backup. But you should have a time real Anti Virus scanner running at all times.

Make sure that your firewall is running by testing on Shields Up -https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Click [continue] on this page and test 'common' and 'All Service Ports ". They should list as STEALTH. Those that are open is not a good sign.
