WLS running as a service.

Dear all,

I installed stand-alone wls 10.3.5.0, on Windows Server 2003, Standard edition, I created a test in wls domain and its working fine, tested by deploying sample adf lettering.
Now, I want to run it as windows service so that it can run continuously.

I created a service and when I try to check the < http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/e13708/winservice.htm#i1188200 > configuration, it of me after the exceptions in the command line, please suggest.

Note that your JAVA_HOME is probably in another directory

There are approximately 165 Services on a clean install of Windows 7 Service Pack 1.  Depending on what other things you have selected to install, you can have more or less than that.

Types of starting services can be automatic (delayed start), auto-start, delayed start or the disabled.  Some Services are designed to does start when they need to start and then stop automatically.

Depending on your configuration, when you look in the Task Manager, a lot of Service can be run and many Services cannot be executed (stopped) in the Task Manager (click on the column heading to sort things):

    Why not start here:

    http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-vipers-Windows-7-Service-Pack-1-service-configurations/

If you are not sure of make changes, it would be wise to do a System Restore Point first and do too many settings at once so you can cancel things if something goes haywire.

  • IME running as a Service

As I understand it, EMI runs as a service and collects the same data when the GUI is not running.  Is also able to send alerts by e-mail (if configured as well) without the GUI execution as long as the service is running?

    I'm under EMI 7.0.3.

    Thank you.

    Terry;

It's OK; the GUI doesn't run.  IME operates as two services:

    Service Express Cisco IPS Manager

    MySQL-IME

The first service makes them data collection and alert, the second service is the database in which the events are stored.

As long as both services are running and the system that runs has EMI of connectivity to the monitored sensors, the GUI of the EMI is not necessary to run for email alerts should be generated.

  • Run the UCM Service using custom

    Hello

I was looking for information how to run the service from the Complutense University of MADRID by composing personalized and found some articles about the same:

    http://jonathanhult.com/blog/2012/06/execute-a-service-from-a-Java-filter/

    http://jonathanhult.com/blog/2012/10/who-created-that-site-Studio-section/

    http://www.redstonecontentsolutions.com/5/post/2012/05/executing-a-service-from-aservicehandler.html#sthash.X31M6ZCS.tvlE83Km.DPBS

I'm new to webcenter content and could not understand above blog stuff correctly. Queries:

    1. we make use of the service of the University Complutense of MADRID to filter, Service or ServiceHandler. Is there a difference in the code required to perform a service?

    2. What is the correct code to run the UCM service?

No, but your custom component can have html resources (including) and html templates that can contain some iDocScript. And there, you can use this way.

For the complete list, a service can also directly call subservices just the way it is defined - a personalized service is defined in the .hda file and it can contain a line containing such a call.

As you are new to the WebCenter content, I recommend you use the component wizard. You must also be familiar with the creation of custom components before you dive into programming (and the functionality of the system as it is, because very often, people develop functionality that is already there).

  • Limit the software and Services that run in the Service Console in ESXi 4.0?

How to limit the software and Services running in the Services Console in ESXi 4.0?

    Hello.

There is no Service in ESXi Console, and it is not really a lot of apps for ESXi either. Policy and/or limited access is the best way to limit these things.

    Good luck!

  • WLS: unexpected error trying to run a Web service - JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 V

    Hello

I have recently started using JDeveloper and went through the various tutorials. However, whenever I try
Perform a test using the Weblogic Server, the following error occurs.

    Using the 7101 port *.
    C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain\bin\startWebLogic.cmd
[waiting for the server to complete its initialization...]
\Java\jdk1.6.0_20 was not planned at this time.
    Process is complete.

Before I installed JDeveloper, I previously had the JDK version 1.6.0_20 installed but I removed since that and
reinstalled JDeveloper from scratch. The error persists however.

I've also updated the PATH variable to include the following directory, which is where the Jdeveloper java code was
    installed-

    C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_18\bin

I spent many hours looking now through the online help, try to get to the bottom of this issue, but nothing helped.

    Can anyone offer advice please?

    Thank you
    Rob

    Try this:
    Delete the C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain directory
Check the classpath on your machine environment variable - make sure it is empty.
Restart JDeveloper and try and run your page.

  • "Unity_SERVERNAME" running under a service account

We use the 4.0 unit (3) and the MAPI profile use of the unit to connect to Exchange became corrupted if we changed all the services account run by the Unity_SERVERNAME, is it ok to use this account or change the service account later, ideas?

    Concerning

Create a new account. Run against her Assistant permission for message store services. Open the services applet and change the account for the services that have been using the corrupted account.

Also see the instructions for "check the accounts that Cisco Unity Services newspapers as" http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a00800949dc.shtml#topic2-1

To answer your question, unite_ has the right permissions as the account that sends a message on unidentified callers, but it must be done the right way. That's what the installation documentation for.

  • Server java Connector running as a service

    Hello

We want to run the server java connector DBAT as a service (just as we have for .net server connector) on a Windows Server instead of from, he command prompt and opening windows all the time. Anyone working on this before?

Is there a way we can achieve?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hey Kevin,

I was able to start JavaConnector server as a Windows service by

    (1) install the 32-bit JRE folder C:\Java

    (2) pointing environmental variables to the location of java (JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME)

    (3) copy the server java connector on C:\ConnectorServer media

and execution of the install of connectorserver.bat from the elevated command prompt.

    Thank you

  • Needs of the company to run for Regional service rule Migration

We have issues with the server of the Regional service in one of the env, it is offline. The user wants to access this env BR, so server EAS must run to migrate these BR using LCM or LCM would connect with the database for the migration repository.

If you use the LCM, you don't have to have EAS running. However, HBR is probably the weakest feature of LCM (in my experience).

I was able to successfully create the connection to the Application Server and tested, all hunky dory.

When you try to deploy the process BPEL of JDEV, at the 4th level in the Deployment Wizard (where it shows 'SOA Server', 'Partition', 'Status' and "Server URL"), the URL of the server is still showing 'http://[2606:b400:2010:4047:216:3eff:fe52:52bd]:8001', very wired.

Can someone please shed some light, thanks in advance.

    Hello

Go to the administration Console. Environment > servers, see you in the column 'Machine' for your soa_server?

Go to the environment > Machines, choose the machine that you saw in the previous step.

Go to Configuration > Node Manager, see you in listening address? May this is the place to be changed.

Let me know how you go. If this answer is useful, please he reward accordingly.

    See you soon,.

  • Cannot start the unit because the authorization service is not running - cannot start service

I'm weirded out. When I try to start the unit on my VM, I get the following message:

The Virtual Machine cannot be set to Unity mode because:
-The VMWare authorization Service is not running.

So, after a little checking, I realize that indeed, the authorization Service is not running on my host. I am trying to launch and get the following message (translated from the french, sorry):

Windows cannot start the VMWare authorization on your local server. For more information, see Event Viewer. If this isn't a Microsoft service, contact your service provider indicating the service specific error code: 6000002.

Event Viewer is a little more detailed... But not really useful:

Unable to retrieve the token for the user to VMware: unknown error 1385 (0 x 569) (1385)

NONE of these error messages to display more than a few visits on Google, especially not in exact search (with quotes around the exact phrase) mode. I'm at a loss as to what I can operate the unit.

    Technical details:

    Host: Windows XP SP3 (French)

Dell Optiplex 760, Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 3.33 GHz. 3 GB of Ram.

    VMWare: 7.0.0 build-203739

    Client: Windows XP SP3 (English)

I have attached my log of vmware just in case. Will be extremely grateful for any help!

    Thank you!

    The only other thing I can think is a reinstallation of the vmx86 service. Rerun the batch previously posted like this, with the extreme detail;

    Tracking Add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc." /v loglevel /f /t REG_DWORD /d 0 x 36

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - stop vmx86

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - uninstall vmx86

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - install vmx86

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - beginning vmx86

    Tracking Add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc." /v loglevel /f /t REG_DWORD /d 0 x 3

    and repeat once more for authd thereafter;

    Tracking Add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc." /v loglevel /f /t REG_DWORD /d 0 x 36

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - stop authd

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - uninstall authd

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - install authd

    "%programfiles%\vmware\vmware workstation\vnetlib.exe" - beginning authd

    Tracking Add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc." /v loglevel /f /t REG_DWORD /d 0 x 3

If this does not help I suggest you reinstall workstation completely from your own account. Don't forget to note your serial number if your IT Department has already given it you.

    Joakim

BTW, it might be that your group policy to prevent something. Check with your IT, if others have the same problem.

  • Running the DHCP service on a computer virtual of Windows 2003 in ESX 3.5

    Hi all

We intend to implement a DHCP server in our virtual environment for the rest of our network.  I have not heard or read that it would be a problem.  I just want to get confirmation of the community in this regard.  Anyone can share their experience with the DHCP service running in a virtual machine?

    Thank you

    Daniel

We have implemented without any problem.

  • MIFWash running as a service

    You have a starting point?

MIFWash does what it is supposed to.

But during his run for 35 minutes on a book of withdrawals, my ability to control mouse clicks and use my keyboard are inhibited. FM is reduced to the minimum.

I want to use other programs while MIFWash is running. Due to the interference of the mouse and the keyboard, I can't.

How can I get the benefit of MIFWash without the interference of the keyboard and mouse?  Somehow, on a machine 4 strands, it seems that 'should' be achievable.

Hypothetical example: How can I start to MIFWash, or FM with MIFWash on a book identified, so that MIFWash works the way a service process done, without interfering with my keyboard and mouse?

A command-line interface is to enable this idea?

    Best regards

    Max

Sounds like some bad coding in the .dll file do not turn off the appearance of FM display correctly. You might want to look at utility DZbatcher of the data area that would open, save under MiFID and then re-open and re-save as a binary via the command line in a batch file.
