• Y5070 CPU throttle problem

  Hi all

  My lenovo y5070 has a intel i7 4720hq clocked at 2.6 ghz with the mode up to 3.6 ghz (this is what its supposed to be). I noticed (using Task Manager) the fact that the processor will only up to 3.3 ghz under full load. I need to mention that the laptop is plugged in and power is set for maximum performance (with advanced option 'State of the processor' set to 100% maximum) on windows 10. There are no other options powersaving haven't turned on and I failed to find anything in the bios.

• Throttle Assy out of the crate and SFS flight controller

  I have a throttle stick and joy old SFS I want to use it on my new laptop FX.  I bought two Gameport to USB adapters to connect to the laptop.  I was told that I probably search for drivers. I plug them both, but they were not recognized as game controllers. There should be an option to calibrate both. I really need help because I'm not all that knowledgeable about computers.

  EagleKeeperF15, you will need to check with the manufacturer of your flight controller to see if they offer any drivers for Windows Vista, or maybe even test those designed for XP. Unfortunately Windows Vista can't stand the game port, so compatibility is not guaranteed. • Help to set up the Linksys WRT54GH as Access Point

  I would like to connect my WRT54GH to my main router with RJ45 (so I can get the signal full force) in order to be used as a point of access but I m not sure about the configuration. Can someone help me configure my WRT54GH?

• Firmware WRT54GH

  I spent a time looong on Cisco's Web site looking for the firmware for the WRT54GH.  When I click on the tab download - NO firmware or manuals are listed!  Nada! Zilch!

  The problem: my router seems to not be broadcasting my SSID.  I restarted it and still no joy.  I did a Factory Reset and re-entered manually all my settings - still no joy.  So I guess the next logical step is to re-flashing the firmware - but I can't find!

  When I try to log-in to "Live Chat" no "list of countries" doesn't appear in the drop-down list box - it is completely empty.  Is the same for the field after (I forgot what his name)-just a drop-down list box empty.  They are mandatory fields, so I'm stumped.

  So I'm here looking for help from the community.  Again, my question is: where can I find the download of the firmware on my router?  I'll be very grateful if someone could post a link for me.

  People, I'm not able to log on to WRT54GH-SG on 192.168.1.1. I'm using the correct password & have NOT forgotten. I am struck page 401. The support rep told me reset the router which I won't until I explore the possibilities. Any suggestion is welcome.

  If the address of the gateway of the computer is not 192.168.1.1 then your WRT isn't in the 192.168.1.1, that is to say .the IP address is NOT correct.

  Try these settings in the router.

  Disable UPnP.  Under settings wireless Beacon Interval 75, RTS and fragmentation of the threshold to 2304.  Try channel 1 or 11.  Save the settings.  To connect, and then try again.

  I do usually not reproduced but I fixed it and I leave this info here for future reference to others:

  It seems that - at least with the first version of the firmware - router alters network packets if she sees they are sent on port 21. He changes IPs their LAN PASV commands, which connecting clients cannot work with. In addition it seems that some other obscure port opening the issue once the connection is established.

  I have a RV220W that I want to set the throttling on. If upload us files to yousendit or a FTP server, it saturates the connection and stop basically all other traffic until the download is finished.   Hi Thomas, you are right that the router supports to limit bandwidth for download. As far as I recall, that's how to put in place-

  QoS-> WAN QoS profiles

  Enable

  Choose the maximum flow

  Then look at the table of the WAN QoS profiles, click Add. Name it whatever you want, select a priority. The next part is important, you must specify the minimum/maximum number for the maximum rate.  This value is Kbps. So if you have a 10 Mbit connection and you want your FTP to use only 200 Kbps enter 200 for minimum and maximum value. Save this setting.

  Then you link the profile to the host that is QoS > mandatory profile.

  Click Add, click the menu drop down click on the name of the profile that you did. Choose selector traffic like IP address range. Choose your whole subnet for example 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254. Then choose the service in your case FTP. If the FTP service is not there you need a personalized first then choose this option. Click Save.

  Once you have saved everything, restart the router, then try it.
