y550p color calibration settings ignored after reboot

I use the calibration color in windows manager and its fine. But whenever I restart, the colors turn bright and ignores the previous settings. What is the problem here? To mean bright yellow turn annoyingly thin, and you could hardly distinguish white. For example, I don't see even the boxes lined the sketch of this text box with the parameters of restart. Frustrating.

  • Color calibration settings reset after restarting the computer

    Hello!
I had a really hard time with my monitor calibration.
I will try to describe my problem as simple as possible. I hope that someone will find a solution to this because I just couldn't.

    SYSTEM:
ASUS N750JV, Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M + Intel HD Graphics 4600 and, of course, Windows 8.

    PROBLEM:
"Calibrate display" settings change/reset back from each time after restarting the laptop, shut down or put to sleep.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM
I just can't calibrate my screen. Everything I do just does not work.
Calibrating monitor in Windows 8 works very well only during the time when I actually do
But if I restart, stop, or put my laptop to sleep just goes back to normal.

For example, as a first step, the screen of Loggin on Windows 8 when I start seems calibrated.
but when I connect I wait 2 seconds or two and all my settings are changed in return.
I have to recalibrate the screen again and again once and again and again...

Swear to God that I tried all possible solutions to solve my problem and none of them worked.
I have read a lot of forums, and I can't find the solution that actually works.
I did the solution 'Safe mode' , the 'clean boot' solution, in 'color management', I changed the settings (in a way that people who said it should work).
I've updated all my drivers (my system than the GeForce GT 750 M is up to date). I installed all available updates for Windows 8 (when I check updates, the system tells me there aren't everything and my system is also up-to-date).

I guess there could be a problem with my graphics card. I know that everyone has had problems these last time with the new update for GeForce, but like I said before, if I have confidence in my laptop then my graphics card is up-to-date.

It really bothers me. It's annoying and I'm frustrated by that. The worst is that I can't find a solution to this, so I'm really asking for help.
    Thank you!

Original title: calibration unsolved display problem - Windows 8

Adeline B, thank you very much for your answer.
I'm sorry that I have not responded in such a long delay.

Well, my problem has been resolved. I downloaded my GeForce graphics driver was last updated.
    Now everything works fine.

    • I know that this problem can be irritating. If anyone has the same issue so I recommend you (like everyone else) download of the updated driver for your graphics card.
    • If this does not work, try to calibrate your system using programs/software installed on your computer by your manufacturer. In my case it was splendid ASUS utility. I also used Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel.
    • Another thing is you may think that your system does not calibrate when it actually... made. So what you can do, it's just waiting for the start until your system is finally charge up. In my case, Windows 8 something takes about 10 to 12 seconds, until what it changes all the settings of ' my settings'.»» Then first Windows 8 loads up to original settings (and this is why you find that your screen is not calibrated) but then it loads the calibration settings you make before you restart and all is well.

I know this sounds so easy is probably not solve anything, but when I had this problem with the calibration I was so irritated by it I wasn't noticing the changes! I'd just instantly to the desktop or control panel configuration, or web and try to solve the problem, without waiting for my system completely load all settings. But... If the wait does not then consult my previous statements.

  • Settings memory ignored after reboot (ASM instance)

    Hi all

    ASM version: 11.2.0.4

    OS: SunOS fmsdb 5.10 Generic_150401-18 i86pc i386 i86pc

I'm trying to reduce the setting memory_max_target on the ASM instance.

    Here are the current settings of the memory;

    SQL > target setting sho

    NAME                                 TYPE                              VALUE

    memory_max_target big integer 1 G

    memory_target large integer 1 G

    pga_aggregate_target large integer 0

    SGA_TARGET large integer 0

    I just changed the memory_max_target and the memory_target to 544 M in spfile. I can see the new values in spfile. Here's the new values;

    SQL > select NAME, display_value from v$ spparameter whose name IN ('memory_target', 'memory_max_target');

    NAME DISPLAY_VALUE

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    memory_target 544 M

    memory_max_target 544 M

After the reboot of the ASM instance, these new values ignored by Oracle.

    Here are the current settings of the memory after reboot;

Have a read of the default value and value MEMORY_TARGET & MEMORY_MAX_TARGET Minimum for ASM 11.2.0.4 and after (Doc ID 1982132.1)

on Oracle support and you'll see why your memory_target is 1 GB. I did not use ASM recently and never paid no attention to the memory allocation when I did (because there was no reason to).

  • The calendar settings reset after reboot

    Hello

Could someone please check if you have the same problem on your phone?

Sony calendar resets the settings after reboot.

For example, if I put "week begins on ' = 'Monday' and restart the phone, this setting will return to 'Sunday' (which is the default).

I am now running Calendar 20.0.A.2.5, but I think that this bug existed before as well (even on my old V Xperia I think)

P.S. I found this subject, but I did not understand the solution correctly or it does not work for me... I tried to disable the calendar app, but it did not help somehow...

There were improvements made on this subject and if you update the 23.4.A.0.546 phone and use the latest Google Calendar app I hope not to have this problem more.

  • WGA600N default for WPA/WPA2 TKIP/AES despite settings saved after reboot

Strange comment here: when I select in the web the WGA600N utility: WPA/WPA2 TKIP/AES after restart only WPA2 and AES only, always default.  I saw it twice.

Anyone has an idea why it is doing this? My D-Link 825 security is set to WPA2 with AES encryption only algorithm.

I read that the maximum speed is obtained by forcing these settings and I tried to get the router and bridge to match.

As I pointed out in the "New Firmware" thread, the problem is solved with the release of 1.05.

I found the answer for Vista that says remove startup KHALMNPR, but I don't have anything like that in my startup.

Original title - laptop be cleaned whenever I start it

I recently problen with my laptop. There cannot be first start. Then it fixed itself. Now whenever I start my laptop, outlook had to be reinstalled again, Favorites, I put in Internet experor have all disappeared, pictures, downlowned are all gone. What should I do now?

    Hi LilyHan,

You can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Windows 10 touchpad settings back after reboot

I'm putting my touchpad (synaptics?) to turn off the pinchzoom.  I uncheck the boxes and it suits him, but whenever I restart it ticks the boxes again.

"How will I know when there is a driver compatible fully win10?

I hope that soon, I too just want to how customization has been. The PS/2 you have chosen is the basic tablet that Win10 installs before it seeks software Lim so he won't have any options of Synaptics

    .

Windows Update automatically installs new versions of Synaptics. If, one day, you notice a change in the behavior of touchpad, now you know where to find alternative on your device driver versions, if you are not satisfied. When you repeat the steps above I posted, you can see the dates of the alternatives and choose one to test, or if you are happy with current, choose "driver rollback", recognize the warning that it is outdated and continue.

Please mark the subject as "Solved" If you are satisfied with the answer. Thank you.

  • The mouse settings not saved after reboot/restart

I'm changing the speed at which my mouse pointer moves on the screen.  I'm doing a 'demand' the change, and then click on 'ok '.   The point of the mouse moves faster in the game.  Then after reboot/restart the computer, the mouse setting is default slower movement speed.   The changes are not saved after reboot.   What keeps the change of speed of movement of the mouse to be saved?

    Mr. Brian,

Please, try the following steps.  This should allow you to keep all the settings in the SetPoint software at the same time to solve your problem.

    1. click on the Start ORB, type msconfig in the Search box and hit Enter
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue

    2. in the System Configuration dialog box, click the Startup tab
    3. Locate the entries called KHALMNPR or similar and uncheck the box next to them (there may only be a)
    4. click OK and restart your computer
    5. after reboot, change the speed of your mouse pointer and restart

This should solve your problem.  Please let us know.  Thank you.

  • How to lock the moniter keep resoultions settings after reboot?

How to lock the screen to keep resolutions settings after reboot?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community and my apologies for the late reply.

    • Have you noticed a Windows Update, the installation of the video drivers?

See the Windows updates are installed
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/see-which-Windows-updates-are-installed

    Possible reason for this behavior:
I suspect that a third-party application to start conflicts and it translates into changing the resolution. Once you got the correct resolution after re-installing the drivers set the computer to clean up state of startup and then check if the resolution changes. In this way, we can use the approach 50 / 50 to find contradictory application the cause.

How to find the conflicting application:

See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

Similar was also mentioned in the thread below; in this case, the webcam software was causing the conflict.

  • How can I return my screen to its default values after you run the Windows 7 color calibration?

I decided to run the color calibration tool windows to try to optimize my monitor, but the quality came out worse than before. After trying several times and otherwise, to get a better picture I decided that I would just back to its default value. The problem is that I don't see an option for it. So, how can I reset my screen its initial values of before I tried calibration it?

    Thank you

    Using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Windows (rstrui.exe) system restore would do it without data loss.

  • Always asking to enter a PIN after reboot?

When I was installing an access fingerprint for my XZ (with PIN code as an alternative access method), the phone explicitly asked if I need to enter a PIN after every restart. I said 'NO '.

However, after each reboot the phone always forces me to enter a PIN, which means that the phone simply ignores the choice I made when I was installing a fingerprint access.

I tried to reset settings of fingerprints fingerprints and re-setup it from scratch, each time explicitly declare that I don't want to require a PIN after reboot. However, the behavior is always the same: the phone still requires a PIN after reboot.

So, what happens here? Is this a bug in the firmware? Or is there a way to make it work?

OK, now I see I misundertood the purpose of this function. Thank you all for putting me on the right track.

I see that the option which asks me if I want to enter the PIN after reboot refers to a completely different behavior. If I say 'Yes', it will ask me to enter a PIN at the beginning, before even Android starts. (It shows a naked white screen with a PIN code entry field).

If I answer "No", it will start Android without asking me to enter a PIN. But later, when it gets to the lock screen, it will ask you to enter a PIN in any case.

In other words, the phone always asks a PIN code. The option 'request to enter a PIN after reboot' simply controls when it happens: early (before Android starts) or late (to the lock screen).

  • Color calibration has a clean mind (on battery)

If the system has been a stack in any point of the session, color calibration seems to get dirty on the rise according to what is on the screen. If dark colours dominate the screen, the colors go slowly (but apparently) all weird. When it is contained is mainly white on the screen, he returns to normal.

I've reviewed some power management settings, and none of them seem to relate to this.

The system is W520 with FHD screen, Intel 8.15.10.2538 drivers, Nvidia 332.21, Windows 7 drivers.

This does not work on Ubuntu, or on an external monitor.

  • Custom color calibration lost with UAC, lock, sleep, start cold

I own a Spyder2Pro color correction device.  I used the camera for years on several systems.  I have a desktop 64-bit Win7 Ultimate that I used the calibrator on without any problem.  When I calibrate my Dell Latitiude E5410 colour becomes bluish and nasty with the accurate hot color display, I need.  Any time UAC appears my color correction back to the nasty original (very noticeable difference).  Any time I lock the computer and back he did the same thing.  I get the result even if it goes to sleep or I do a cold start.  I contacted color data and they have no problems reported with windows 7 on the device.  Thoughts?  Is dell puts some kind of color management in the laptop that replaces the windows control?  Thinking I could do a clean install this weekend to give a test drive.

    Hi Rick Mead,

    Try the methods below:

    Method 1:

Start your computer in a clean boot and check if the problem still persists. Link below will help you to start the computer in clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem does not persist, you can continue with step 2 from the link above.

Make sure that you reset the computer in normal mode in step 7.

    Method 2:

Check the color management setting, you can check the link below: management of color settings: frequently asked questions:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-vista/Color-management-settings-frequently-asked-questions
