  • OfficeJet 6700 won't allow web services.

My new officejet 6700 won't allow web services.  I have a good internet connection via a DSL modem/router.  I tried a wired connection and Wi - Fi.  Nothing works.  I can see the printer and the status of ink etc. to the ip address of a computer on the local network.

    sko1947,

I suggest you set a static ip address of the dns servers and the address of this printer as it has resolved questions like these in the past.

Before we begin, we need a network with your current connection settings configuration page. To do this, press the arrow to the right and go to settings. From there on, we want to select 'Network', then 'Print Network Configuration.

After that you have, we will need to access the built-in Web server (EWS) printers. You can do this by entering the IP address of printers (from the Network Setup page) browser press and the address bar type.

Once there, press the 'Network' tab at the top of the page. From there, you'll want to click on the button "IPv4", on the f-side of the page. It will be there for wireless and wired, so make sure you click the one for you, but you are connected. If you do not see "IPv4", you should see 'Networking', press and press "Network Address (IP).

Then, you click the small round button next to "Manual"IP address", and then fill in the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway using the information available on the network configuration page.

For the primary or the preferred DNS server, you will want to enter 8.8.8.8. For secondary school or another DNS server, you will want to write 8.8.4.4.

Click on apply and when the message appears saying that the changes have been applied, press 'OK '.

Press the power button on your printer, wait that it completely power off and press it again to power it on.

After doing this, go ahead and try to reactivate Web Services. It should work now, but if not, let me know and I we can try something else.

  • BlackBerry service on device unlocked UK

Hello, I have a unlocked blackberry mobile device (9000) and I would like to use the blackberry service. I use this unit for a project for the University and I only need this for 2 months. Can I connect to the blackberry service through the talk?

I discovered on 3 supplier who is also the provider sim card I'm sure I can have the blackberry for 5 pounds a month service, but they can't guarantee if I'll be able to use the service blackberry because of the device is unlocked.

Does anyone have an idea about it, how to use the blackberry service on talk?

No guarantee, but I found an unlocked phone that runs happily on the 3 network.  I suspect that it covers the back saying that he could not work and suggest that you should really buy one of their phones.

  • Z10 Z10 locked blackBerry

Hello. I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help out. I have a locked Z10 and I am on a mobile phone service provider if it makes a difference. I called AT & T, and they suggested that I try to back up my phone by logging into Blackberry link and/or Blackbery Blend. I tried to do both and link does not allow me to log on because it recognizes my phone is locked. I logged on Blackberry Blend using my ID BB however it says I need to activate BlackBerry mixture on my phone to synchronize. I obviously can't do it because I don't remember my password.

Is another that tries to enter any other passwords incorrect 10 times and my phone being wiped, there anything else I can do to unlock my phone? My phone will be usless after that my device is deleted?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

In addition, via PC/browser, log in the website to protect, in using BBID credentials that are associated with the device. Through this interface, you have the option to change your password for the device-lock. I saw the option on this screen... but never tried to use it effectively, I would be interested in your results.

Good luck and let us know!

    Dear team,

I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

    concerning

    Surya Roy

Hello and welcome to the community!

10.2.1.537 is, in relative terms, a very old operating system level... you really need to use something more current, especially given your model Z10. I recommend that you force a reload of BONE via the more energetic method... ADF:

Remember that you you get the AutoLoader for 10.2.1.3247 because it contains some very important fixes for the Z10 specifically.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hello z10user,

Thank you for your question regarding the transfer of Bluetooth Contact on your smart phone BlackBerry Z10.

Transfer contacts from your computer via Bluetooth to your device is currently not supported.

  • Z10 Z10 crahses Blackberry BlackBerry; does not turn off button, and struggles to access the hub

I just got a new blackberry Z10. which I believe has been refurbishing My Vodafone provider.

The blackberry is so bad that they actually sent me a knew phone and does not want this return of blackberry but I am frustrated by the latter.

When receiveing the blackberry, I got the unlock code to unlock it, it worked perfectly.  Once unlocked, I entered my Vodafone SIM that didn't do not need to still use it with another sim card.

First, I updated the blackberry for the last version of the software and complete the set up process.

Then I restored my old data from my previous Blackberry Z10, which also does not (various issues)

The phone blocks (blocks) and did different things; the screen freezes and does not even turn it off the button, I have to take the battery out to restart it, or I have to screen does not freeze, but you cannot access texts/emails or contacts and he says 'prepare the hub' but never really in it.

Sometimes it will allow me to use the off button, but especially, I have to take the battery out and put back starting.

It is possible to make a call sometimes, but he cuts during the call.

I have reset the blackberry back to the factory settings and even tried to use with on a restoration, just in case my data has been corrupted somehow.

I tried to use it with a different network sim card and also tried it with a sim card, just so use it on wifi, the same problems.

I was sent a new battery so tried both batteries.

I have reset to factory several times.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Z10 BBM blackBerry calendar sharing - error

I just found a problem with the creation and sharing of inputs to a Z10 within a calendar group BBM...

-I'm in a band that consists of two phones - my Z10 and BB Curve 9360 my wife, allows us to share the group calendar appointments.  She put the first group and therefore his phone is the group administrator.

-If one of us creates a calendar BBM entry it shows an hour early on my phone.  On his phone, it displays correctly (for example.) 16:00 - 17:00, but on my phone to the appears as 15:00 - 16:00.

-If I change it on my phone, and correct the time it shows correct for a few seconds until that both phones synchronize and then mine comes back wrong right from the beginning.

-If I create a local calendar on my phone and then share by polls BBM, the local designation is still correct, but shows the shared appointment in my calendar this time initially.

I checked that both phones are set to the same time zone London and auto-Update, I'm guessing that perhaps one version of BBM (curve = OS7.1 vs BB10) uses DST and the other Zulu time or something similar?

If there is a difficulty of parameters I'd like to know, if Blackberry Please note!

Everything worked perfectly when I got a torch and she had an earlier model curve.  This seems to be one of those things where every step that phones move actually means a step backwards in terms of being able to do something in a business like way.

What became of the ability in the Goto Calendar today?  Surely, that should not be difficult?

    Hey sg-Homer.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem and there is no scheduled time when the issue is settled.  Just to clarify that affects only BBM calendar actions.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please see this "sticky" post, and the son to which it connects, for more useful information to guide you as you go:

I hope that this information will be useful to you. Unfortunately, what they tell you is probably accurate. Your warranty service is provided by the place of origin of the purchase you and does not transfer. Some in your situation had to send their device to their place of origin of purchase for this service. It is difficult for people in your situation, and I sympathize with... but unfortunately there is nothing that here we can do to change what is established by contract.

See you soon and good luck!
