0x0000007E and 0x0000004e
I get two errors when you try to start my computer,
0x0000007E when my graphics card is in.
0x0000004E when running off mobo intergrated outputs.
Cannot start in safe mode or anything each launch I try is blue screen just after the blue screen, I also run the OS from an SSD
Problem has barely randomly occurred after I installed 3 new fans to the PC and removed since them the error occurred, I think to try an installation new os on the ssd, but if someone has a solution before I resort to that to see.
Thank you.
Hey Bravo to answer, but I have resolved, a RAM was defective chip led to bluescreen.
Thank you.

Hello!
For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my machine to boot successfully. Nothing changes when I choose Safe Mode, last known good Configuration, enable VGA Mode, booting, Directory Services Restore Mode or Debug Mode logging.
It's very stressful, because I'm right smack dab in the Middle a semester at the College. I have most of what I currently need access to supported illuminates... but not quite all :( It is also very reassuring to be able to take care of the school of work away from the library of the University. Yesterday, my computer was working fine... I think that Windows has completed an update, if I can't remember now. As I woke up this morning, I was not able to boot all the way to Windows only once.
My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 running XP Media Center, and I have not installed new hardware since I bought the machine about 3 years ago.
Here are more details, where they can help in the diagnosis of my problem:
- ID of the system board: 30BB
- Type of processor: Genuine Intel(r) CPU T2250
- Processor speed: 1730 MHz
- Total memory: 1024 MB
- Video memory up to: 128 MB
- BIOS version: F.06

Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS. Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then select Safe Mode.

Error 0X0000007E Stop after installing the new card mother and CPU.
Original title: Stop error after installing the new card mother and CPU.
After I installed a new motherboard and CPU I got a stop error 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XB77EA756, 0XB84C742C, 0xB84C7128) and it restarted immediately. It always starts in safe mode, but I can't understand what is wrong. The old processor is a pentium 4 3 ghz, not sure what the motherboard was, new processor is AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 4200 + and I only know that the motherboard is an ASUS socket AM2. Device Manager does not recognize the CPU correctly, it shows just two entries called processor. As far as I can tell, it's almost certainly a driver issue, but I don't know how to diagnose or fix this. I am running windows XP home, I removed my video card, running 2 hard drives at 120 g (M) and 200 g (S), a DVD drive (M) and a reader of CD (S), and a stick of RAM to 1 GB.
If you have made the change without having to reinstall XP, you will be taking and Pray H@ll. the best thing to do would be to reinstall XP and make sure you have the drivers available for your motherboard available so that you can update the installed chipset. In addition, be aware that if you have an OEM of Windows version, the license is dead when you changed the mother/CPU card.
I hope this helps.

Original title: I need emergency with a blue screen error after new Athlon Proc and motherboard.!
I had to fix my computer professional brothers due to its motherboard out. So, I advanced and ordered a motherboard latest and processor and also much more memory because the PC was about 6 years old. After installing, I he started and configured the BIOS and thought that it should start right up because it was working fine until the motherboard is out and also I left to himself, the hard drive that has XP installed, because he was also big enough for what he needs. But instead of cranking up XP, I get this error every time even when I try and boot in safe mode.
I have also ordered him a new copy of Windows 7 to update his OS, but until I can get into XP and do an upgrade, I'm stuck. (I have to do an upgrade because of her inability to save his business files before exiting the motherboard.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
There is the old motherboard-specific drivers (for example, video, network, bridge, BIOS, etc.) in XP loads that are not compatible with the new motherboard. Conversely, you may need drivers specific to the new motherboard (see the disc that came with the motherboard for details). You might have to perform a repair installation on the existing XP. When you started on the XP installation disc, do not take into account the first mention of repair and then accept the option the second time, you are prompted to repair the existing installation.
To be honest, you also get a new drive of 500 GB for Windows 7. A hard drive of six year, or approximately 80Gb (...?) and who will get eaten up real quickly by installation of Windows 7. In addition, I don't think you can update directly from XP to Windows 7. I'm sure that there must be a Vista installation in the meantime, but I was called incorrectly.

I'm trying to do a clean install of windows 7 Professional (32-bit) on my laptop ASUS X61SL. Initially there was Vista Home Premium (32-bit) running on this laptop.
After the start of the boot and windows 7 by loading files and starting windows comes the blue screen saying:
STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000420, 0x8EB256C6, 0x8A386640; ox8A386170)ACPI.sys - address 8EB256C6 base at 8EAD7000, Datestamp 4CE78F21I tried an update of the BIOS already and a full erase of the disk which has been recommended by the ASUS support. Nothing worked, and not even the ASUS support has other ideas how to get Windows 7 to run.OK, how much RAM have you?
I found this information:
However, I remembered seeing something on the Internet about Microsoft 64-bit being unhappy with 4 GB of ram during the installation process of the systems... .then I got 2 GB of ram and the installation went OK! I will give the memory later.

I know - you try to install the Win7 SP1 32 bit only, but you can try it.

Blue screen of death: 0x0000007E, have tried many things and am stuck
Hi, since last night when you try to start windows vista sp1, I find myself with a blue screen. The only line is
stop: 0x000000E7... 4. follow more similar numbers, I am sorry that I have not exactly those with me right now. No specific file or error is referenced also.I have already tried:
-Startup Repair (did nothing)
-System Restore (several points of system restore was successful but I still have a blue screen on reboot for example)
-chkdsk - was suggested and I ran it, but it found no errors (accessed via the Startup Repair menu command prompt)
-safe mode - all modes of Security 3 Blues the same screen when starting
-bios Dell diagnostics came out clean
-Memtest86 boot from USB was released with pass 100% and no error
I have not recently installed the drivers or programsAny suggestions would be helpful! I do not want to reinstall windows, at this point a repair would be useful!
Hi herestothenight22,
1. how much memory stick (live RAM) you have on the computer?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
If you have more than 1 GB of RAM installed on the computer, then I suggest that you remove all of the memory sticks and just keep 1 GB of RAM on the computer and check if it works.
I hope this helps!

I have an Acer Aspire R7 - 571 questions.
I have an Acer R7-571, 1.8gz dual core, and has 12 GB of ram. The computer is not as fast and is there any setings to the more quickly? I thought with 12 GB of ram, it would be lightening fast. Poor WIFI is another problem. Any ideas for that?
