  You just need to manually end the firefox process.

  1. open windows- (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) Task Manager

  2. Select the 'process '.

  3. Select the entry for firefox.exe and click complete the process.
  Click Yes in the "Task manager warning" dialog that appears.

  4. exit windows taskmanager & start firefox normally.

• FPGA reference questions between the station development and execution? 63195 error code

  I will do my best to describe the problem, I was see.  Note, I tried a few other messages that kind of touch on my problems, but they never seem to have a definitive solution.

  Background-

  I have 3 screws:

  VI 1) opens / runs the bitfile FPGA reference and stores the reference to a global file so that I can call the reference of other screws I need to do this as opposed to the opening of a new reference because I use the FPGA for digital communications and it adds about 100 ms to to open a new reference whenever I need to read/write in the target FPGA to host (100 ms are long in the) digital world!).  Some people use Shift Registers.  I finally called my whole army FPGA screws of TestStand to run a test automated, so it was easier to break up of my functions for open/close/read/write.

  VI 2) called the global reference of the file for FPGA, then going to a read/write node to change the settings of the target, then passes the reference out of the node back to the global reference of the file read/writable

  VI 3) calls close reference FPGA and the function is passed the global reference of the file.

  Question-

  I understand not why this method works fine when I run either of TestStand with station options defined for the development (not running) mode or when I open VI which calls these 3 screws individually in sequential order but IS NOT working when I try to run these screws individually (Run VI 1 - open-> write Ref to the global reference of the file-> Run VI 2 - read global file reference-> playback control function / writing-> error-63195) or when I have run in the same sequence TestStand but together with station for execution options.  Maybe I need to change the TestStand sequence to load all the modules at startup?

  Why the reference becomes lost when global failover between development and execution and why labview cannot drop keep the reference stored?  Is there a work around?

  Finally found a solution.  I do not understand why it is necessary during the reading of the FPGA and not what writing (in fact I do not understand why it worked at all) but I ended up changing the properties of the step in my TestStand sequence for the step calling my DTL_READ.vi to be properties-> Run Options-> Unload Option-> "Unload after executing the step.  That seemed to do the trick to get my test TestStand sequence to work in runtime.

  I still don't understand why this was not required when you run the same sequence in the design environment and why it is not when I call my DTL_WRITE.vi.

  The DTL_READ.vi and the DTL_WRITE.vi pass the parameter labveiw global.vi 'Reference FPGA VI"of a node in read/write.  I don't know if the root of the problem is in my host TestStand and LabView FPGA VI...

  Thanks for all suggestions from you guys!  I'm happy I work but I am still confused by the solution.

So I need to go buy Windows 7 and she told me that I'll LOSE EVERYTHING when I install it - all my documents and family photos are gone forever. Why not take my money and sell me a product key instead of let me in trouble?

  You should not need to buy anything except the recovery disc for your machine (if the built-in recovery partition does not work), unless you really need Win 7 for some reason any.

  That being said - the COA sticker on your machine is readable? If Yes, then you should have no problem with a Windows 7 upgrade version - but you will need to either use activation by phone, or installation methods described here...

• Former running and the new table in the same group?

  We have a ps4000 (sata, 16x1tb), which is short for maintenance in may without possibility of renewal.

  The ps4000 is a target for the replication of windows/hyper-v a ps6100x volumes and runs some volumes of hyper-v with virtual developer/test machines.

  We bought a new ps4210x to replace the old. Must be run on 1gbit for at least the next year.

  The best way to move data is to update the firmware on the ps4000 to even x 4210 a and then join the x 4210 to the ps4000 group?

  Is there a checklist of exactly what to do to move the data from one to the other?

  We do not know what to do with the old system. We think to buy one or two replacement disks ahead of time and use it for some time yet. Use it as a replication target and some virtual machines hosting not important.

  Suggest two systems running in the same group?

  Should we use two pools for the placement of volume or just leave the firmware balance data? Both systems have raid6.

  What is supported, if we run the two systems in the same group? We always have software support for the whole group or Dell would say a member has no more support, and we cannot help you at all?

  If I understand the firmware release notes, the 7.x will be the last major version for ps5xxx. Our 2010 ps4000 will have more time with the firmware updates?

  You can not have supported and no load/EOL paintings in the same group.   Or you want to use it for replication.  Because if you had a problem, support is limited in what they can do with this HW unsupported.

  Re: migration of the PS4000.  I suggest that you create a new pool put the 4210 in this pool.  Create the RAIDset and ensure that both interfaces are active.   Then move the PS4210 to the same pool as the PS4000.   This will cause space to be redistributed into the new array.     If you want to minimize any impact of performance possible, wait until the space is rebalanced.   Then move the PS4000 to the temp pool.   This will leave all the data on the PS4210.   Once it is in the temporary pool, you can use the option "Delete" to delete the group.

  There will be future updates to the PS4000.

If it works, can someone suggest me steps how can I need recover with backup after restoring the backup of level 0 on 11g. Like should I upgrade before you retrieve it with level 1 backup or I can update and then recover with the level 1 backup from the old server to the new server.

  Here is former servers of RHEL 5 version and new servers are RHEL 6 release.

  You should also take care on the locations of the data file, dump, instance settings destinations, all link database from the database, connectivity application etc.

  All,

  We go 2 groups in the near future to achieve a geographical distance between the 2 sites.

  A cluster is equipped with VMware 5.0 replication SRM and vSphere and the other cluster running VMware 5.5 and SRM in combination with replication of vSphere.

  What is the best way to move these clusters, I must stop the replication or interrupt the replication process and are these action to perform on SRM or we need to perform any action on the virtual machine itself?

  I read that a stop is setting the State to not configured including destroy all files in the target directory.

  Does anyone have an experience by physically moving a cluster managed by SRM (and replication of vSphere)

• Trying to capture what reports are running and what users

  A few months ago, we went to Discoverer 11 g. One of the patches that I expected was the update of the table of query statistics to see which reports are running and that was their execution.
  
  The problem is that most users run Discoverer more but they are not "free" closing more discoverer via file-> exit. They hit just ths 'X' to close the window. Oracle says that when users, their statistics are not written for query statistics tables. I find that the EUL workbooks that we installed are pretty useless because of this and really the only reason why I left the query statistics logging is enabled. I'm now seriously disable this because it is very inconsistent (cut out us statistics of query on a rolling table 180 days of history via the simultaneous program that removes the stats more than 180 days).
  
  I was wondering if anyone here has made any record of what files are managed through some triggers? I see there is a trigger EUL function that we have in place, called message save documents, recording the name of the workbook, sql, etc.. But it does not record the date on which it was run. Is that what someone has changed this trigger so that whenever a report is run, it saves the sql report, user and when there was ongoing at the table?

  I have never found the stats of discoverer to be very helpful for some of the reasons you gave.

  I see that a trigger EUL will do what you want that unfortunately there is no trigger to open document. In order to obtain information, you must rely on the user to save the workbook.

  An option that you can explore is to use a policy of (fine grain access) DBMS_FGA to audit certain discoverer query statements. For example, you can add a FGA strategy at the EUL5_DOCUMENTS table that selects records all on the table. This will show that users open the workbooks that you have in the EUL. Or you could add a policy to the tables/views used in the audit and discoverer workbooks then selects it with a condition of audit to audit only the discoverer sessions.

  How to do this depends on exactly what you want to audit.

  This can happen when the video player (Flash plugin) has focus.
  In this case the plugin consumes all key presses.
  You will need to click with the mouse on the page or in the UI to work keyboard shortcuts.

  Perhaps, you just need to wait for a while for Firefox download.

  Perhaps, it is an extension/plugin slowing your Firefox.

  When I close Firefox in the evening, it closes slowly and uses 50% of CPU. It unloads after several (30? 60?) seconds.

  When I try to print maps of visit or letters with my new Deskjet F4240, ink runs and bleeds through the paper or card stock.  Exit impossible to give my clients because it looks cheap and unprofessional.  I think the problem is the Vivera Ink because I not had this problem in the past using the same paper and paper thick, both with HP printers and other brands of printers and is the first printer I've owned that uses the Vivera Ink.  Are there replacement cartridges that can be used, or what I need to replace the printer by one that doesn't use Vivera Ink?  Thank you.

  If the ink is bleeding in the paper stock or card that it would indicate the driver settings do not match the paper type.  Make sure you select plain paper inkjet media according to the type of paper you have.  If you use apper photo settings on plain paper, you will get too much ink on the page.

  If you do not want to see the menu bar or the scroll bar and then CTRL + I-> properties-> appearance window VI-> customize and select the option to adapt accordingly.

  I open a vi reference and need to dynamically execute and stop this vi. Problem is after I use the 'Abort Vi' method to stop it, his reference is no longer valid and I need to reopen the next time I want to run it.

  Ben, I think he's talking about the VI Abort METHOD, not the button abandon.  I wrote a small example using run a VI, waiting, VI an abortion, then run a VI again, and it worked.  The reference did not become invalid.  You must make sure to wire a constant false entry Auto has the method to execute a VI.
