• Icons and black screen that appears when published the missing LMS

  I tried to search online, but need some advice on how to solve a problem of publication I encounter.

  When I run a SWF file via my IE browser, I have no missing icons or black screen that appears. During the generation of the content to publish SWF with HTML5, it passes through successfully.

  When it is published through LMS, couple of slides in the length of the content, I am facing some missing icons and black screen. I read an article saying check on imsmanifest.xml that could help solve the problem. But watch and read the code, I am pretty well confused to determine what lack us here.

  Comments or the recommendation how I can solve this problem?

  Publish your Cloud SCORM LMS SCORM online and test the functionality here.  If he plays as expected, the problem is with your own LMS and you must get their technical staff working on the problem.

  When you try to import the IOS c2960-lanbasek9 - tar.122 - 35.SE.tar in the repository of the Cisco Works LMS RME software I get the following error:

  SWIM0009: Unable to retrieve the attributes of the image.

  Check if it is supported by the management software.

  I can import other IOS images such as c2950-i6k2l2q4 - tar.121 - 22.EA9.tar with no problems.

  Any ideas? Where a check to see if a particular IOS image is taken in charge by the management software?

  I sent it again, but it is most likely to be filtered. He is sent to the email address linked to your Cisco.com account. Check your SPAM settings to ensure that the email from Cisco.com is allowed (at least temporarily).

  Our client already replace 2960-plus series instead of the old 2960 switch but I found RME4.3.2 not yet supported to date.

  Although the new support of device is sometimes worn with packets of main defence forces, for the inventory feature, SWIMMING and config device management package is a must.

  As Cisco 2960 has published more than devices in 2013, when updates to LMS 3.x was almost stopped, we started LMS 4.2 devices from media.

  However it doesn't show anything on the list of peripheral pages supported, which was filed as a default for this document:

  You will need to upgrade to 4.2 LMS from to get these managed switches.

  I just upgraded my Hp DC7700. I was able to get all the drivers except for SERIAL PORT PCI and PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER missing. above are the two missing pilots hardware ID

  There is no W7 drivers for these devices.  You must use the Vista drivers and if auto installation does not work, you will need to install the drivers manually by navigating to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file from the device in the Device Manager (browse my computer for driver software).

• CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 exporting bulk Configuration

  Hello

  Does anyone know an easy way to bulk export configurations off Ciscoworks LMS 3.2?  The only thing I found is the cli command export config u cwcli.exe - p-unit %, but it exports in XML format which is not very readable.  Prefer a text file format.  Someone at - it suggestions?

  CLI, it is the only option, but what you can do to get the files in TEXT format is, you can connect to the server and

  go to this site: NMSROOT\CSCOpx\files\rme\dcma\shadow

• Error HTTP 500 error device update RME 4.3.1

  I have a problem with the update of device on RME 4.3.1.

  The LMS Version is 3.2.

  When I klick on essential resource manager in the 'Product name' column or on 826 in the column "Number of device Type", I get the following error:

  Seems that this is due to corrupt device packages. Try the following:

  > stop demon

  > remove NMSROOT\CSCOpx\www\classpath\com\cisco\nm\xms\psu\maps\rme*.maps (another copy somwhere)

  > run the command NMROOT\bin\psucli Pei rme - cpf

  > started the demons return

  see if the problem goes away.

  I'm sure that you can pretty much add a DFM. On Solaris, for example, simply re - run "setup.sh", and then choose the following at the prompt:

  (2) custom installation. For advanced users.
  Select the components to install.
  Enter Admin, comments, identity account of the system, the passwords for the database for the new facility.
  Keep for upgrade and relocation.

  Then choose the appropriate option for: DFM (# 9 below) when you are prompted, add it to your existing installation of LMS:

  (1) Common Services 3.3
  (2) portal 1.2 LMS
  (3) CiscoWorks Assistant 1.2
  (4) CiscoView 6.1.9
  (5) integration utility 1.9
  (6) resource Manager Essentials 4.3
  (7) the Director of the campus 5.2
  (8) the Fault Manager HPOV-Netview 3.2 device adapters
  (9) device Fault Manager 3.2
  (10) internetwork Performance Monitor 4.2
  (11) all the foregoing
  -Applications module.

• LMS 3.0 multi-server environment

  I currently have CiscoWorks configured as a stand-alone, I seek to put in place a multiserver environment and promote my self for the master and the other as a slave server. I read on the documentation now to get an idea of how much work needs to be done to perform in the getting started with LMS 3.0 guide. The trick question is this another license to buy things for us to do this? Please let me know and also another thing is implementing a multi-server environment is the same as

  redundant environment for CiscoWorks?

  Master-slave is not identical to a redundant configuration. This is not say if a server goes down the other will take over.

  You will need additional licenses if you plan to install more than once of the RME, CM, DFM or IPM.

  So if you have a master with common Services, RME and installed CM, then a slave with CS server, RME and CM you need another license.

  This document will guide you through the upgrade of LMS 3.0.1 to 3.2.  Yes, you can do an upgrade on the local server, but it will bring the downtime.  That time could be a whole day depending on the amount of data that must be migrated.

• JavaScript added with advanced actions does not run in LMS

  I am working on a custom navigation bar which is controlled by Javascript, I added using advanced in Captivate 9 actions. It works very well in tests, but during the loading of our LMS and SCORM cloud custom JS doesn't load or is ignored for some reason any. I'm missing something in my publication settings. It is located on SCORM 2004 v3.

• Is it possible to use Acrobat Connect Pro as your LMS?

  I believe it fits into your current LMS... but the functionality it seems to accomplish what I need: courses e-Learning hosting for my external clients, filing, certificates.  Any thoughts?

  You're right that I missed the boat on the answer to that question... guess I read a little of what I thought that the question should be, not what it was. Thank you for calling my attention to this fact.

  Connect can be used as your LMS? Yes. There is the learning module that allows the provision of training on demand (concurrent learner license) and live and follow-up training (named Virtual Classroom Manager licenses). While the connection is more than a light weight, LMS, it pasbien needs more organizations for the provision of training user and follow-up.

  For the content of the application, there is no need to start the connection interface (meeting room, is what I assume you mean), training courses (single object) or Curriculum (collection of learning objects) will have a single URL for access. If you use a virtual class then courses on request can be initiated at the synchronous session and all the interactions between the participants will be followed.

• Why not work quiz slides in LMS?

  Using Captivate 7. SCORM 2004. I added three choice quiz multiple slides of the course, intercalated between pages of content, to act as exam questions. Each slide of questionnaire has a send and a clear button.

  When I rebooted the being updated, now with the quiz slides, for the LMS (pierre angular-environment of the scene), the options on the quiz slides are not clickable and submit it and clear buttons are missing.

  My settings are:

  Completion - based views of slide - 100%

  -From the views of the slide - 100% success

  Quiz - "optional - the user can jump."

  Pass/Fail - 0% required to pass

  If failure: enable infinite attempts - box (but I also tried 1 attempt)

  Thanks, Lieve. In fact, I think that the LMS did not correctly display the quiz slides is because he had already struck me as 'complete' (I had taken the course several times previously.) More in all the different versions I rebooted our training environment, I kept change the quiz parameters, etc., and I think the poor LMS was so confused. So after I did a little more changes to the course (see below) and logged in as a different user, course and quiz slides appear correctly.

  I made these changes to the quiz settings in Captivate:

  -I based completely on the single "read slides" - not on "Quiz is passed."

  -On the parameters of 'Pass or Fail', I changed "Go to the next slide" to "continue".

  and under "if fault of grade," I've changed "1 attempt" of "infinite attempts."

  I also removed the box click reportable of blade 1.

  So I do not know which of these changes has solved the problem, but the course works correctly now, thankfully.

• Sesskey parameter is missing... 10 presenter

  I published the package SCORM 1.2 using Presenter 10 (project contains audio and static slides only). I tried to download Moodle LMS 2.7 - after download, it shows the dialog box: error: sesskey parameter is missing. What can I do? Please, any idea.

  It seems to be a problem with the side presenter but still I recommend you try to zip through presenter publishing box postal option to publish.

  Yet if it doesnot work please post the presentation and the output file and I can have a better look at it.

• LMS does not mark as complete courses?

  I've never used Captivate before, but we have a course in our LMS, which was made in Captivate, which isn't marking users as completed the course, when they have completed it.  We use Captivate 5.5.  I went to change the properties of reports and saw that it was set on mark as completed once 95 slides have been read, so I thought it was the question given that the project was only 40 slides.  I changed it to mark complete after 1 slide was seen (for reasons of test), but it is not always as complete this property.    Here's what my properties considered for now look like:

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Or y at - it something simple that I'm missing?  Thank you!

  Is there a reason why you use the AICC standard? Maybe try it go to SCORM 2004 or SCORM 1.2 and publish/test in this way.
