23 Pavilion: Pavilion inadmissible all in one office

During the night my all-in-One HP Pavillion was a whirling noise, and then the shots as if it was updated.  Since then, I have not been able to start.  If you press the Start button, it flashes for about one second and turns off, out of order?  I have McAfee Security and it works every day.  What could be the matter?

  • Erk - 321 has keyboard: HP Envy wireless keyboard only works after a reboot, but not at initial startup. Envy all in one office.

Hello, for some reason, my keyboard is not working whenever I'm doing a restart. Or turn on for the first time after a stop down. The only keys that work are the volume keys.

But if I restart by connection or desktop screen, the keyboard works fine.

The batteries are not dead, I replaced the.

Any info would be great. Thank you.

I have HP Envy Beats all-in-one.  Mouse worked, keyboard no longer works unless after withdrawal of the driver for keyboard then rebooted.  Would work for this next boot, solved by disabling fast-start-up in power options, the theory is computer starts jumped linking or simply crossed it faster that the keyboard can answer.  Hope this helps you.

  • Remove the cover on all in one office

I have a desktop HP all-in-one view 20. I can't get the back cover off to add ram. I have the 2 screws and the cover rises about 1/4 ", then that's it. I noticed a small hole in the lid that has a "lock" symbol Is there a tool to unlock the back cover?

Thank you. It does not help. You own a HP ENVY 20 - d117c TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC.

As you loosen the two screws, turn each him until you hear a click five times. This means that they are completely loose.

From the edge of the lid near the base, lift the back cover upwards and remove it.

There is a video that I watched to see how it does, but it is a place that I can't provide you with a link to access.

    Best regards

  • HP Pavilion 23 all-in-One: HP Pavillion on update apps lost all modules? Better I would say that if you read below? TX!

My desktop computer with Windows 8.1 HP says that it has been updated apps this morning for about 10 minutes. Never seen that before. The entire screen changed colors as I associate the colors of the subway. Reports came as Taking care of Stuff, do not turn off your pc, please wait, close to... etc. After that, he went to a white screen, white a grey taskbar and a metro start button that does nothing. When I run the Task Manager, it says there is no process running. I have a key to recovery, but there is so much to lose if I do that. Although I happily backup of files. I get a screen flash, then a login where I can put my password, everything looks normal. Then it goes to this blank black screen with the Metro useless start button at the bottom left.  I would appreciate help!

I can get into the Task Manager and there is no one under USERS?

    No listed process?

If I try to run Explorer from the Task Manager, it says "the server could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect." Check the user name and password?

I thought I had a fix. I get to the logon screen with my photo. Ther right there is an icon of power. If you hold SHIFT and restart it goes to troubleshooting. I've tried everything. Finally, I tried USING A HARD DISK and I stuck the USB Flash Recovery drive, I did.  When the computer reboots, it goes to logon. I connect (with the flash is connected) and YAHOOODY everything is back. My office job and complete. I thought a lot. I ran several spyware programs, did a restore and released the flash player.  Rebooted and the same problem I'm talking about in the above paragraph.

    What is missing from the pc. The user info is corrupt? Go? Why having the USB connected stick recovery allows me to login and see all normal? I would appreciate so no help.  Thank you. Jack {":-Dx}

All files have been / are saved on USB and drive Google and OneDrive 40gig. Just hated to lose all programs and configurations.

  • Pavilion 23 all-in-one: Storm

Hi all, yesterday we had a thunderstorm to Euless Tx., my wifi device does not work after the Thunder struck, my office everything in a single pavilion23 is shocked too, it was off and the CAP turns off too, but it was connected to the wifi a cable.

Now when I turn it on, the CPU fan only works too fast, I tried 30 second drain power, removed the battery CMOS, unplugged the CPU fan, traded to the Rams, still have the same problem.

When power is first applied, the fan runs at 100% speed.  It is only slowed when the
CPU starts to run and lower the fan speed.

If it has been turned off, other son AC could have plugged a surge into the machner.  But don't forget, it is electricity.  Incoming overvoltage on power supply must have a different outgoing path.  So much damage as may exist on this outgoing path.

In the meantime, the power brick has surge protection generally greater than anythnig that you could plug.  Indeed, a power strip protector may even compromise (by-pass) protection already inside all computers.

To tell more requires the unexpected facts.  It may have been damaged by a power surge (no matter if on or off).  He may have failed because of something that creates more chess - any manufacturing defect.  No one can say without first identify a failed motherboard or the inner part of the power brick.

Unfortunately, you tried to fix it before identifying the failure.  All these changes can have complicated the solution.   First gather facts to identify the problem.  In your case, apparently the power controller (or smoethnig else) is not allowing the CPU to run. Which is just one possible.  To tell more requires concrete facts which have not yet been provided (other that the fan rotates at a speed of 100%).
