2620: officejet 2620 clear impression that

The printer works well, but after I print one job and try printing another job, I remove the 1st job in the HP software before the second job will print.

Does make sense?

How can I get the software will automatically remove?

Thank you

Hi @ken641,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that when you print with your HP Officejet 2620 on Mac OS X 10.10, jobs stuck in the queue. I'm happy to help with this problem!

I would start by the printing system, reset OS X Yosemite: reset the printing systemand check and repair disk permissions.

We'll see what happens!

    Hello.

I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think. You expect to be able to delete entries simply by touching delete on your keyboard when they are concentrated (that is how it goes for the removal of the form entries specific autocomplete in Firefox), but I have not tried.

Hi @jrandsk and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you are having problems printing envelope. I would like to help with that!

I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

I also run your Apple updates: OS x: Mac App Store apps and OS X update

After the updates, I recommend reinstalling the e-all-in-one-HP Officejet Pro 8630 Printer series full feature software and drivers.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8620: Impression of poor quality HP Officejet Pro 8620

I had no problem printing until I went to the "HP Instant ink cartridges".  I complained and got a second set of cartridges.  But the new set has not improved the quality.

I used to print messages from Gmail, and the text was a vivid black.  Now, it's a clear bluish gray.  Web page with text impressions smallish on them seems faded and are practically illegible.

Virtually everything that looks like I'm stuck on the "Draft" mode

Changed my default settings in "plain paper-best" and did all the other steps (align, cleaning print heads, etc.) with no improvement in quality.  I also downloaded once again print driver, rebooted, etc..  Paper is the same: copy paper multipurpose Boise X-9 (20 books, letter size, 92 bright).

Help!  What should I do to get back to good quality prints?   Happy to send someone at HP 'before' (GMAIL messages) impressions printed in December, using standare HP cartridges and 'after' impressions (the same GMAIL messages now printed using HP Instant cartridges) if it would help to diagnose my problem.  Just give me a name and an address.

    MNY THANKS!

Bad news and good news about the problem of print quality with my printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 Wireless all-in-One Color Inket-Scanner-copier:

After working with two "technicians" on the chatline useful instant ink, I was opted for a printer HP imaging expert.

We did some tests, and it was determined that I had a hardware problem.  Good news, finally understood the problem after more than a month of difficulty.

Bad news: 8620 My was two months after the warranty.  (The printer has 14.5 months.  The warranty is 12 months).  Then, tough luck, no new printhead, ceertainly no machine replacement.

In addition, the well-meaning test (involving a reboot) disabled the printer.  Now it doesn't work at all.

I found myself ordering a 8620 HP remanufactured through HP imaging expert.  A bit of a discount ($100) on the price of a new machine, but more of what Amazon or Wal-Mart sells the new machine.

Also - I bought an extended warranty ($19) to cover the machine for 3 years.

Still not sure if the instant ink caused somehow my hardware problem. The 8620 was working perfectly until I changed the previous set of HP regular cartridges with instant ink cartridges (when the printer was 13 months, one month after the original warranty).   The printer had never been abused in some way and only moderately used.

Now waiting for my new rebuilt the machine.  Can't print, copy or scan until it happens.

Lesson: Always get the extended warranty.  You're out of luck if there is a problem any of the last 12 months.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: Impression of watermarks on Officejet Pro 8610

I have a HP Officejet 4632 who had the means to print a watermark across the settings of the printer on the .pdf documents. Since I've upgraded to an HP Officejet Pro 8610, this option is no longer available. Failed to add a watermark to a PDF document without buying the Adobe Acrobat software improved to $12.99 a month, what I do. I need this watermark for tax .pdf documents created from my tax softward program. Any ideas without printing the watermark on paper before you print the document?

    Hello

Use another driver that support such as a workaround:

    1. Under devices and printers the 8610 icon right click and select printer properties. on the Ports tab to take note of the active port of the driver and close this dialog box (you need later).
    2. Click on add printer, click on "the printer that I want isn't listed.
    3. Choose a Local Port and press Next.
    4. Select the same port as used by the driver and click Next.
    5. Select HP in the Manufecturer list, select the HP Deskjet 6940 / 6980 and follow the wizard to add the printer.

On the effects tab, you can add a watermark.

    Kind regards

  • Impression that freezes

Original title: last printed document "freezes" in the printer (as.)  Can't cancel even through the Panel, printers and cancel/remove the last document printed out-of-print (as.)

After printing a document it "freezes" in printing (QC) when I go into Control Panel to manually remove the 'frozen' document, it will cancel all previously sent documents to print that accept for the ultimate (which has already printed).  I tried to remove the key administrator with nothing doesn't.  I also tried the 'Fix It' running, but he could not fix problem.  The only way to 'clear' the 'frozen' document must stop computer and restarts.  The 'frozen' document prints automatically when the computer is turned back on and the printer is temporarily disabled.  I may be able to print documents 1 to 3 until it 'freezes' once again, sometimes only 1.  It becomes a royal pain!  Someone please help.  p.s. I noticed this problem started when I downloaded Commodo Internet Security a couple of months.

Go to start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and go to the print spooler.  Stop the service and then restart it again.  I think that will clear the stuck document - but it's just a way to solve the problem (if it works), not a solution to the question in the first place.  It's a pity, there is if a long time because I'm sure you have no restore point that goes far back to do a restore of the system which would normally be my first recommendation in a situation like this.

Try disabling or uninstalling Commodo Internet Security to see if the problem goes away. If so, we now know the cause and you may need to decide on the use of various security software.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers. Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you shoulddo it for your printer, including drivers, firmware and software at least and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

  • A continuous green flashing button loan after removing the impression that job - Laserjet CP1025 colour

I can't get the blinking green ready button to stop the flashing of a Laserjet CP1025 colour. Iniatially I thought it was a fault in the queue and after much effort, I was able to delete a print job that is persistent. I uninstalled the drivers printer and re - install, but it still wouldn't print. I have unplugged the printer from the computer and turned on with the only power to come in it, and even the little green light flashes at me - what can I do?

It seems that this print job that failed got stuck in the printer memory.  The only thing you can do is a hard reset to clear the memory of the printer work.

    To do a hard reset:

    1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug everything back in and turn on the printer.

If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.
