3632 inkjet: ink rubbing

I have a brand new HP 3632 using expensive HP (HP-63) and HP CR670A 5 star glossy paper ink.  Only black ink rubbed off.

This occurs only with glossy paper, matte paper does not rub off the coast.      I don't know what good this forum is so HP

has no entry in the solutions.    HP technical support has been excellent... no more!   Seems that when you can actually

speak in a human voice, all they do is give you the ideas off a screen and really have no idea what is really bad.   Maybe it's time to switch to another brand of printer.

RCOM

Black pigmented ink is not compatible with the glossy photo media.  Make sure you select the type of paper in your driver.  Selection photo glossy in the driver causes the printer to use only the color of dye based inks to render the page, including the black areas.

  • All-in-one Deskjet 3632: Deskjet 3632 black ink not working not

    Hello

I bought a HP all-in-one Deskjet 3632 and have set up on my laptop and phone. I scan a document was nice and feel it was ok, but the documents will not print using black ink. The first impression is rather a gray, and it seems that the color ink is the only one used. When you print word documents, none of the black ink is printing and only a small amount printed on the first page of test, where none of the letters are readable at all. The cartridges are new and in the same area as the printer. I did the fixes suggested without result, bar to buy a new cartridge which I hesitate to do what the budget is tight. Is there a fix that can be made, or will I have to resort to buying a new cartridge?

    Greetings @JamesMontgomery,

Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that you have problems printing in black. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

I wasn't sure of what you have already tried. I would say the contacts of the cartridge cleaning manually, if you have not already: ink cartridge errors. Do not take into account the title.

  • Inkjet inks / paper designed for a Multiple look at an environment

    Hello

I have a printer Canon 9500 Mark II and a calibrated monitor Dell U2410.  I print with Lightroom / items using Canon's ICC profiles.

The prints look resonably close the monitor in the workplace and to diffuse the light of the Sun, however, much too red in incandescent light.

Are there the inks and/or documents that will be better or worse to corresponding to what I see on the screen?

Is there ink/paper combinations that appear close enough to the image on my screen, in varied situations look at a multiple?

    Thanks in advance!

So, if we get a profile for Costco), and softproof the image in Lightroom 5, it will be a reasonable 'simulation' of the result

(more small range, paper, etc.) ?

ICC profiles "assume" an impression of D50 look at a State which, according to the marketing or how you ask, can be a fairly wide range of products. For example, you can buy so-called D50 Fluorescent watch a pit but all fluorescent some nasty spikes in their spectrum which, depending on the type of paper, can cause a "color change" (usually found with papers to high optical brightenerss or Oba). You get a good screen to print the following on the screen match, it is a good sign, you want to shoot. Without this, you cannot evaluate WYSIWYG. Move printing to another location with another bulb, many of the bets are now off depends of the illuminant. What you want when you test is a narrow screen to print match viewing printing next to the screen under controlled print observing conditions: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/why_are_my_prints_too_dark.shtml

    Hi walkenhair,

I can help you with your request. Some printers use an inkjet ink system, others use toner, LaserJet here.

I found a PDF document which deals with inkjet VS. Laser. You can find either very useful, very overwhelming and more than you were looking for!

  • HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625: HP Deskjet Ink Advantage starting problem

    Nice day

I bought a printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 Saturday and tried to put in place.  I bought just the printer at a reduced price to replace my other Deskjet 4625, which had ceased to function.  It comes with cables, which I was told is not a problem because I had the rest of my previous purchase.  The seller says nothing about the cartridges SETUP.  After launching the setup with the new ink inserted, I got the error message saying: cartridges use INSTALLATION supplied with your printer.  I have tried everything to ignore this error to complete the installation, but I can't go any further.  Is it possible to get around this please?  Thank you.

    Welcome @joanne11,

I can help you with this error, you see.

The information you are looking for is in this document;  Ink cartridges HP 178, 364, 564 and 862 - error resolution 'use cartridges SETUP'.  New CONFIGURATION supplied with the printer cartridges must be used to configure the printer for the first time.

These cartridges should have been included in the box - if they were absent, would return to the retailer to know where they are.

If you have these but have just opened new cartridges, instead - you could see if The consumables HP inkjet - ink storage and handling helps keep these cartridges for future use after initialization.

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

  • HP Deskjet 3520 all-in-one: I installed the HP utility to scan, but the 'Edit analysis jobs' button is grayed

I installed the HP utility to scan from my HP Deskjet 3520 to my Mac Book pro, but the "edit scan tasks" button is grayed out. I can only scan one page at a time, but one I want to scan multiple pages

Thanks for the reply back @cjbd,

You are able to open the HP scanning software when you perform a search from the Mac?

You try to scan several pages from the printer to the Mac or from the HP scanning software?

You should be able to open the HP scanning software and edit everything from there.

Normally, you can select PDF to scan in a single file multiple documents if that's what you try to do.

Because this model only has a dish, you must be notified to scan another page.

Here is a document for digitization of the control panel of the printer: HP Deskjet 3520 e - all - in - one and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3520 e-all-in-One Printer Series - how to perform a scan: from the control panel.

If the HP scanning software does not work, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software again.

I handed the document to uninstall: Printers HP - uninstalling the software of the printer (Mac).

Here is the link to the drivers: HP-inkjet ink-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.40.dmg

Please get back to me. Thank you!

  • PSC1410: HP PSC1410

I installed Windows 10 about a week ago everything (including the printer) worked perfectly. Yesterday I had to change the ink cartridges and now, thanks to a member of this Forum, it prints (but very poor quality). If I try to use the copy function, it feeds paper through, good speed and with the same sound as if just printing, but it does not print! Download HP Solution Center - says it all right: downloaded HP Print & Scan doctor - says that everything is OK. Uninstalled all HP programs and re-installed with the latest drivers - still no print quality or any copy. Have you tried the HP Support will not help because the printer is 10 years old (but the printer worked perfectly in all functions). Would be very happy to help, but please make it simple - I'm very much a novice and I am completely at a loss.

Welcome to the community of HP @Jayuu,

I'm not sure of the nature of the poor print quality, so I'll post links to some documents that provide solutions for troubleshooting on this issue. Please try all the steps in order and get back to me with the results.

If you are still having problems print quality after trying all of the above steps, the printer may be at the end of his life, and I would recommend to research by substituting a new printer.

  • HP OfficeJet series 7510: sublimation

Hello! Don t send me a message to go to the other Department, please...

I have a HP OfficeJet 7510 series printer, and I want to know if it is compatible with the documents of transfer sublimation... is it? If not, is there another way to change the cartridges or fill them with sublimation ink? Or do my HP cartridges already compatible and ready with this type of transfers for t-shirts, I want to do? There are other types of paper, but I m in the process of purchasing documents... so... have doubts... Because to customize cups and pens, newspapers say to use with like some (sorry for the reference) Epson sublimation printers... Thank you and best regards!

    Luis Miguel

    Portugal

Hello! Nope... I thought already and, nor others at HP, this printer can print job of sublimation!  Sublimation inks, are different, because they have a reaction to the temperature, when they are used for transfers in different materials, including Polyester! Don t of sublimation of the cotton works! This printing papers that we often see in stores, saying they are suitible for the transfer with the inkjet printers are NO GOOD, because I realized later, is now very obvious to me... Inkjet inks are developed for the use of the paper... so simple...! So if someone uses them for transfers, they crack, can´t look for water or sweat... and color won´t be very well, even for 10 or 15 minutes that a person would use the T-Shirt or the whatsoewer... Fan of I m an HP and it's to bad that HP Don t have any printer Sublimation... A tip: for textiles, it is possible to use some Laser printers with correct transfer papers, but there is need of a heat press machine! For use in cotton with color printing, the best are Chromablast printers. Color Laser printers are OK too... and can print white, some of them... Hope this can be useful, so it would have been for me, when I was looking for answers... ! Cordially... a hug for a kiss for the girls and the boys... (content removed)

  • M277DW: Photo M277DW paper

I'm looking photo paper for my printer and the printer specification suggests Matt paper 200 g and up to 220 g glossy one.

HP store offers 2 different photo for my printer, two A4 size papers, but I need a format 10 x 15 cm too.

I found this article in the shop 200 g shining in the range of specifications of the printer. But I don't see my printer in the compatible list of printers; all simply not updated? I'm confused on the paper to use, frightened by my printer.

Do I use all sorts of photo paper in the range of specifications or I have to use those a labeled for LASER printers? I don't know if all bear high time of modern laser printer photo paper.

Another question: I have a few old 10 x 15 cm photo paper HP Professional glossy 240g, 20g on the specifications; can I use or I risk of damage/jam the printer?

    Help me, pls!

    Hey @castang,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand you are trying to print photos on your printer Laserjet M277dw range. I can help you with that.

First of all, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Second, regular photo paper and Laserjet photo paper are different because printers inkjet ink on the page and let dry, while printers Laserjet dry toner on the page, then heating pages to merge the toner on the page. With the help of regular photo paper does not work very well.

Please let me know if that solves your problems. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.
