  I recently installed the firmware recommended for ElitePad 900 G1 (sp68375.exe) running Windows 8.1 update 1

  In order to install the update I had to suspend bitlocker drive encryption, which is a mandatory requirement in my workplace.

  After properly installing the update of the firmware and trying to catch the bitlocker encryption, Windows reports the following error:

  "BitLocker Drive Encryption error."

  Wizard initialization has failed.

  The BIOS does not correctly contacted the

  Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the

  I tried to re-download and reinstall the firmware update, but ended up with the same error after successfully update a second time.

  Someone else (or HP) applied this update firmware and can fix any counselor or a workaround to get BitLocker up and run again? My ElitePad is now reported as non-compliant system due to the suspension of BitLocker.

  Please try latest BIOS on HP.com (F.52) for the Elitepad 900.  If it solves your problem, please check the issue as resolved.

• Router Cisco has tried to take a firmware update and no longer works

  OK, so internet worked very well until Cisco Connect told me to take an update.  My connection is connected and there is no disruption during the download.  Yet the download failed again and now my power light flashes constantly and there is no internet access.  I tried to find out "How to unbrick your Cisco router", even pushed them to work, it took the update of the firmware of the cmd line.  Still does not work.  What is the problem with this thing and how to fix it?

  I finished downloading a firmware utility program and managed to get to recharge. The power led has become solid somewhere between 2-5 minutes, is however not yet connect to internet.  Found that all this factory reset will change your Internet username & password, with no way to find a new one.  You must remove the program Cisco connect from your computer and reload from the original disc.  Only then you will be in service yet.  While I appreciate the answer Helm, I was well beyond a second solution 30 reset button when I posted this lol.

  Either double click or right click - Open. Windows Explorer knows how to handle .msu. Make sure you do not have a search of update running in background. In case of doubt, the value "never search updates" automatic updates and restart before installing.

  I just applied the update to the latest firmware 4.1.208.33789 for my IX2 - DL and it took an extremely long time to reboot - flashing white light for 20 min on the right.

  Shooting and by unplugging power did the same result.

  I hold the reset button hardware pin and now he's in a boot loop throw up double red lights and then attempt to restart with flashing blue white and strong.

  Help! don't know what to do next.

  Update, I've updated to: SonicOS Enhanced 6.2.5.1 - 26n

  And have no problems. So the early release and earlier versions work better than the recommended version. Beware of this update if you make one.

• How can I update and continue to use Adobe Acrobat Reader without upgrading to DC?

  I tried several times to install the updates recommended by Adobe for my Acrobat XI product.  Whenever the update is in fact an 'Upgrade' to Adobe DC.  I tried this product and it is not the same as Acrobat Reader user friendly product.  I want to continue to be able to read PDF files, that's all.  I have to create documents, sign documents, store information available to me in a cloud somewhere that the world has access to it (NOTHING ON THE INTERNET IS REALLY SECURE) or one of the other computer resource hogging garbage (IMO) that was added to create this thing DC.

  All I want to do is read the PDF documents, nothing else.  As PDF and Acrobat Reader were intended to do in the first place, something simple and universal to allow each user of the computer display a document of any hardware or software they had installed on their computer.  Adobe still do and support such a product or should I start to look elsewhere?
