4500ps: 4500PS 84.11:01 no Visible jam

When the user tries to load the paper there is no 'beep', recognizing that the paper has been fed into the machine.

The user tries now gently feeding the paper through the side out to see if an invisible piece of paper can be dislodged, (blue lever triggered).

Hello

There are 3 levers on the printer, 1 on each drawer to roll and the other for the main pinch roller (it is describe by the façade as blue lever, but is actually black) check if they're watching the right handle.

It seems that there is certainly a blockage on the main sensor of paper, or it can be broken.

Best regards

Mike G

You are welcome.  I wish that would work for you.  You have tried everything in the document of solving problems, but nothing did.

The only other thing I can think of would be to do a complete reset of semi.  If successful, this reset the default printer and clear the memory.  If the printer was on a wireless network, it should be removed and would need to be reconnected.  If you want to try this, I can send you the steps in a private message to your Forums HP box.  I need you agree to not post the stages.  Let me know what you decide.

  • DesignJet 4500ps: is the interchangeable motherboard for DesignJet 4000 and DesignJet 4500PS

I recently received a model of HP DesignJet 4500 PS broken free Q1272A of friend engineering firm.  The technician, they called to set the printer has assumed that the motherboard (main PCA card) was incorrect and removed.  I don't know anything else other that they decided that it wasn't worth fixing, and the main Board of the APC is missing.

I think I can get a main PCA Board used for a few hundred dollars, but I have to check that get the right part.  I see the number of room Q1273-60250 being announced as the Designjet 4000 and Designjet 4500.  Can anyone confirm that this is true?  I don't want to buy this part number if it turns out that the Q1273-60250 works only in the DesignJet 4500 if I change it or if I'm just using some accessories.  I also see Q1273-60225 as being for the Designjet 4000 and Designjet 4500.  I found this part number cost very little.  It will work in fact for the 4500ps?

    Any advice?

Where can I go to be safe?

    Hello

The 4500 and 4000 share the same hand APC.

    The Q1273-60250 part should work.

    Hey @Dottie11,

I see that you have some problems with a paper jam in your 8600 e-all-in-one printer Officejet. I can help you with that, but it is not a lot that can be done in this situation.

If the printer is still under warranty, I suggest to contact the HP Support by clicking on this link and fill out the form below.

If the printer is out of warranty, the best I can do is suggest more strength or cutting paper with scissors. Those who are not HP recommended troubleshooting steps and HP can not guaranteed that they will help with the jam, but it's the best I can do.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you clear the jam or come up with a solution, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • 6510 all-in-one printer 211: 6510 has suddenly paper jams paper

Paper jams are continuous. The upper part of each leaf has a 1/6 "dent about 1/2" long and 3-4 "on the side. Another paper has same type of damage. Will be removed all paper crowded at the top of the machine. Decided that there must be a mechanical problem and removed the 7 screws of the plastic on the bottom clamp to remove the bowl. When he was abducted some plastic black 11/16 "long with a 7/16 diameter gear on each end is out. The tree has a hole inside had to an axle. I sought visible signs where it may be at the bottom without success. I need advice before I go into it any further.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi all

I found this on the discussion Forum and it worked!

Thank you John Ablordeppey of Ghana, West Africa, and Markus_M

Suggestion of John fixed the error on my JO 8620, too.

I was able to do it without removing the left cover.

Just open the cartridge door, have a flashlight and check all visible cables, pressing them firmly into the connectors.

    Thanks to you two! ChrisDz

  • Jam of transport on C7180 all-in-One

I had an all-in-one operation until I tried to remove a paper jam.  After removing most of the paper to the back by following the instructions, I noticed a few pieces under one of the rolls and had to use a pair of tweezers to remove from the front. I am stil a message 'clear jam of transport' and the printer does not stop correctly. Before that, the only snafu was that the printer would not always print "fast draft" of some Web sites.

So far, I tried to disonnecting the printer and insepecting of the front and back. I can't see scraps of paper inside. Any ideas on something else I could try?

    Denny

    Success!

To this document, has been the key. On one of the steps, I saw the carriage freely return movement to the left and then dock on the right. I moved and then gently it leaves and voila a piece quickly to the top of the paper became visible. I would have NEVER been able to find it without moving its position anchored to the right carriage return.

  • Want 4500: Jam of transport (for no reason)

I have had this desire of 4500 for about 18 months and has never had a single problem.  The other day, I'm going to do a photo paper print job, then I start to get a transport error Jam.  I carefully check transportation and ensured in that there is no obstacle, basically quite HP on instruction for transportation jams, and everything is in working order.  Once the error clears, the cartridges move to the left and right without any problem stopping on the left side of the printer and the error comes back.

I repeat: IT IS No. OBSTRUCTIONS or JAM in THE PRINTER.

There is NO visible reason why should I get a carriage jam error... especially when the carriage moves very well on its own.

Edit: I read through other posts with people having the same problem but I have not found a single viable 'solution'.

Is seems not to be a problem with the accumulation of aerosols or other problems that the cleaning cart broadband would solve.  I don't have any other ideas but ask one of HP support officers rush in this one.

  • officepro 8600I have: jam printer

I can see the pieces of paper under the rollers which are visible through the front door.  However, they are too far back to grasp. I tried with a pair of tweezers to no result and work from the rear as well.

    Hello

If you have tried all the steps above and you still have problems, you could tray holding a more rigid media piece (like a sheet of photographic media or card stock about the thickness of an index card - do not use the thick cardboard).  And see if you can feed through and clear jams.  If it will not feed exceeded stage stuck bits, you can try to unplug the unit and manually feeding the rigid sheet through the drain plug back.  Often, this will push some of the pieces of paper remaining through.

    I hope this helps.
