4630 E OfficeJet all-in-one: scanner

Greeting of the beautiful southwest.  My question is this.  My scanner worked perfectly, then it starts to crumple my paperwork.  What can I do about it.  I'm a little illiterate in computer connected. I bought it in 2014

Hi @Carole_H123,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that the scanner in your printer HP Officejet 4630 is crease your paper. I am pleased to see that for you!

A few questions for you:

  • What is the type/size of paper you are using?
  • You make copies and the book will come out the front of the printer wrinkled?
  • Lift you the scanner cover and out paper like crumpled paper?

In the meantime, please consult this guide, a Message appears "Out of paper" on the control panel and do not Pick Up paper printer, because it will show you how to clean the rollers in the printer. " As well as this guide, scanning from the control panel, do as it will show you how to load paper into the scanner.

    Hello

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers. Check with
HP support, their documentation online and drivers and ask in their forums.

  • HP OFFICE JET 4630 printer: HP officejet all-in-one 4630

Printer HP 4630 will sleep (extended) every time I have stop printing for about 10 minutes.  When I try to print a different document/photo I have to press the power button to wake it up.  I then have to close the wireless connection, and then reconnect the wireless connection using the printer menu.

How can I stop the printer to go into hibernation?  I like to keep the printer on 24/7, unless I turn it off.  In other words, make a 'real' power button power button.  How am I susposed to print from my laptop currencies if I continue to go to the printer to wake up from hibernation and reset the wireless connection?

I hope someone can resolve this issure for me!  Thank you...

    Hi @hlpmeplz,

If I understand your description your printer will not wake up or answer when you send a print job, unless you turn off and turn back on again. It seems to me that the problem is with the wireless connection. When you turn off the printer, and the back is re-establish the connection. We will set a static IP address and see if that fixes the problem so.

There is no option to turn off the sleep function, you can change the time it takes to fall into the mode "sleep", but not turn it off. Instead, please use the following document to assign the printer a static IP address: 4630 Officejet HP and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4640 e-all-in-one printer series - printer does not maintain the wireless connection. Simply scroll three Solution: the printer of the assign a static IP address.  If the problem persists, start at the top of the document that the solutions presented relate to connection problems.

Please let me know if that solves the problem by marking this post as an acceptable Solution. If you need more assistance let me know and I will gladly do whatever I can to help. Thank you.

  • HP Officejet 4630 reprint e-all-in-one spent at the start of printing to the top of the computer

    I use my laptop (OS - Windows 7 64 - bit / Home Premium/Service Pack 1) with a wireless connection to my printer (4630 Officejet e-all-in-one).

When I start my laptop, my printer reprints the last print job immediately.  It only started a short time ago - was incompatible at first.  I have recently authorized HP install an "update" & now it happens every time.

I looked at the preferences panel & couldn't find any settings that would explain this problem.

I have to "cancel all documents" (even if nothing is not) every time before I closed my laptop?

I think that the problem is solved - I hope so.  I looked for a solution to the 'help' under 'network' since I use my printer via WiFi with my laptop.  He suggested to cut the power to the printer and the router.  After that, he stopped additional printing.

So, your suggestion is substantially the same.  If I had seen your answer first of all, I have done as you suggest.

Thank you for helping me to find a solution.

  • Impossible to Document with HP Officejet 6310 all-in-One scanner

    Dear all,

I have a HP 6310 of all-in-one desktop. My scanner was working fine until I changed my PC running on Windows & Pro. I tried various solutions proposed by the community and the last test has been with HP Print & Scan Doctor 4.3. Follow the instructions on the screen. Also I could hear the ROAR scanner far when the message to display "HP Scanning" window showing on the monitor. The program checked all checks i.e. Device Manager, Scan Driver Check, device status, window (WIA), solution, registry, Scan Flow Manager & Digital Image Monitor HP Center. Only two controls that had yellow Triangles were HP Scanner Twain and Front Panel Test. The HP Twain Scan error message was ' the twain component is used by another process even after a reboot. Remove the software by clicking 'uninstall '. Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the latest full features software of HP customer service (recommended). Note: You should always be able to scan from applications such as Microsoft Paint. If this will meet your scanning needs, and then click 'Skip '.

I am not that technica l and would really all members to guide me through the process in order to get scanner work. When I go through the movement of the scanning of a document via the HP Solution Center, I go for the selection process the file type I want the document to be registered as (somewhere e.g. office) but get an error message. I would appreciate help to resolve this matter without spending money to call the telephone helplines HP as currently unemployed. Thanking you in advance.

  • OfficeJet 4215xi all-in-one: scanner

My officejet 4215xi all-in-one decided to stop scanning correctly.  I feed my original in the automatic document feeder (as I did for years), it is no longer pulls the documents in the leading pace the digitized the image being spread or with about 2-3 inches of white space on the leading edge. I listen to the officejet, looks like it starts scanning, but the paper don't be pulled ahead for a few seconds (where white space and text image burrs). Yesterday, I was able to scan one page at a time with a bit of success, but today I can't do and I'm now getting an error message that the scan was not successful. I hope someone can give me the steps to get this corrected.  Thank you!

    Hello

  • HP officejet all-in-one 4630: fax

I can't understand how to send a fax to multiple pages when scanning the glass.

    all-in-one HP 4630

    Hello

Multiple pages cannot be faxes from the top of the page charger with any fax inkjet HP with an ADF, glass flat.

As a solution, if you send a media that cannot be placed on the charger, you can scan pages of the glass in a single file using the program scan HP and by fax of the digitized document (select the fax printer in the print dialog box).

  • Issues all in one Scanner HP with Windows 7

Hello. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this question...

I have a HP all in one Office Jet L7590. This device has been connected to a desktop Dell under Windows XP SP2. This AIO worked perfectly, until recently...
I bought a brand new HP 2000 laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit). I installed this AIO (Officejet L7590) by connecting it to the laptop Windows 7 install the drivers.  After doing this, I realized that I'd rather have all the HP installed software, so I proceeded to the HP site and retrieved the good download and installed. HP Solution Center is active and shows my AIO printer and it's stats (ink, ect). However, my issues revolve around the SCAN function. It will not work and I get various errors. I have studied this problem and see that many people have problems scanning with Windows 7. However, I can't find my specific errors, or find a solution to my problems. Most of the fixes I found relate to machines that have upgraded from vista to 7. I have not since it is a new machine with a fresh install of 7...
I did the following without result:
Uninstalled all the software and drivers associated with the L7590
Reinstalled software and drivers (downloaded from HP)
Update software thought the HP Solutions Center
    Update Windows 7
Downloaded and run all the tools of diagnosis HP without success (stops while checking the driver and indicates that the driver is the question)
Applied patch that was supposed to be for the upgrade of vista (which I have to lose?)
Also tried running the center of HP Solutions in XP Compatibility Mode
Downloaded and installed the HP software removal tool
Let Windows HP peripheral installation and use of Windows Fax and Scan (cannot communicate with scanner)
HP support could not help me and concluded that it was a Windows 7 problem despite this being confirmed equipment compatible. This issue is ongoing since late June of 2012 when I first contacted HP. I was hoping that a more experienced Windows 7 expert might have a solution.
    Thank you in advance.

If you let win install the device it will use the built in the custom of whch win7 drivers provide the same functionality as the full features of HP software.

Using the compatibility options on a program that is fully compatible win7 will give rise to other issues, so in the compatibility options, delete this compatibility that has been set.

Not being is not quite sure of the current state, I'd do it disconect the printer, uninstall the HP software via programs & features, then use the HP software removal tool. Check that the printer has been removed from the device and printers.

Run disk Cleanup then clean the PC restart

Then install the software of the full functionality of the HP site, after doing so run the option to update the HP Solutions Center.

Then re - test the printer and use the scan, not fax scan HP & windows.

If after you have installed the HP software the sys requires a restart and your scans/tests fail, then clean boot the PC and re - test

    Hey @HD-Heemskerk,.

I see you are trying to fax from your PC in 10 Windows with printer all-in-one Officejet 5610. I can help you with that.

You should be able to fax if you download and install the latest drivers. You can find the drivers by clicking on this link.

When you want to fax you must start by opening to the top of the print window, as if you were going to print. When you do, you should see a printer or a file to print with the printer name and (Fax) at the end. If you select that and try to print, you should see your fax options appears.

Please let me know if this allows you to fax. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.
