485 USB connection for single device

Hello

I need to make a very simple connection, but even if I search in the forums and manuals of days I can not yet understand how do. Maybe someone can help me, it's here:

I need a «compatible with RS485» actuator control The manufacturer gave me the controller with those pins cable pinout: + 5V, TRx +, TRx - and Signal ground. I also have a schema were I see as the TRx + and TRx - are wired to a SN75176 bus transceiver (lines A and B) so I'm confident that I can connect my brand-new OR USB-485.

The only problem I have is that I don't know how to build my female! I must not control a single actuator, and the cable is short (no need for endings or anything of that).

Anyone know how to do it? I feel very stupid with three cables in my hand of the actuator and not knowing how to plug them into the RS485

Thank you!

Based on this information, I suggest that you connect the sign to pin 4 and 8 of the USB-RS485 + and -to pin 5 and 9. Connect the 0V to pin 1.

To make complete (especially if you use a cable of length) you must add an active endpoint on one side (as in your photo) and a cap of passive endpoint of the other side.

The values in the image are far too high. It should be 2 x 390 and 1 x 150 ohms. The passive endpoint of the other side should be 120 ohms.

  • USB connection for speakers/conrtols do not work?

    Hello.

My daughter has a bed that connects to an MP3 player via a USB connection and speakers and play controls on it. SanDisk Sansa clip plus is not working, looks like he's trying to connect to a computer to receive information. Is there something I should do differrently or if this feature is not supported with this MP3 player?

A bed that connects to an Mp3 player? Cool!.  The Clip + has two modes, the MTP and MSC mode (settings > system settings > USB). If you transfer files under the PSG, the songs will not appear on the computer when you connect in MSC mode and vice versa. Most likely your bed does not recognize MTP peripheral devices. That being said, try transferring music on both msc and mtp and do a test. Try to connect the Sansa to your bed under MSC and MTP.

  • USB connection for USB device failed

    Hello

    I have VMware Workstation 7.2 in Win 7 x 64 OS later.

I want to use the USB-to-Serial Connector but my host OS cannot recognize the driver. This connector works with Win XP, so I don't think that there is a hardware failure.

Then I tried running XP machine in VMware workstation, but when I map this USB on XP VM with message

USB to USB Device "Composite Device" connection failed - driver error.

Do I need to have a good driver on host to the USB VM card operating system? or the device! mark in the Device Manager in the host OS cannot be mapped to VM? or the USB device must be properly recognized by host operating system, as the device is suitable for USB Serial device not Composite?

    Any solution?

  • Tab 2 A10 - 70F: Internet access via USB connected 3G / 4G device?

    Hello

The A10 - 70F Tab2 has WiFi only. Is it possible to connect to the internet with a connected USB 3G / 4G? With other words: the tab can handle? Anyone with experience?

    Thank you in advance,

    Michael

Yes is the short answer. And a few ways to do this:

    1 micro USB Dongle of 3 / 4 g

    2. micro USB to USB 'female' - then plug a 3 / 4 g USB Dongle

And a couple of less obvious ways:

1 WiFi connection to another mobile and use of mobile data of quotas (although plans only works on some data)

2 micro USB to Micro USB and connect a mobile as shown above (does not work on all devices, although I look at the phone and tablet to fight for the battery juice is hilarious)

    3. connected to a PC via the cable USB/WiFi connection internet PC use.

But yes, 3 / 4g Dongles work indeed & the Tablet seems to walk along very well with a micro USB version or a USB version with an adapter cable.

Is there a download driver usb as a microsoft? My external USB gives an error message about the dysfunction of the usb driver...

Most likely, it is a misleading message.  Most external hard drives do not require a special USB driver.  But check out the website of the manufacturer of the drive.

What brand/model of external hard drive?

The player has a power source or he relies on the USB connection for power supply?

It worked before?  If so, what happened just before the error started?

What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed?

Please post the full error message without paraphrase.

Have you tried to connect the player to another USB port, preferably one on the back of the case, if the computer is a desktop/Tower computer?

    Hello

The printer provide wireless capabilities, which means that the pritner can connect wirelessly to your router.

When the desktop PC is connected to the same wireless with a cable (I guess that it is connected to the internet?), you can install the selectig printer wireless installation... that refer to the connection of printer and not one used by the computer.

So you can install it with a USB, wireless and USB connection does not come into conflict with each other.
