5100cn faded black text printing / color is very well

We're having a problem with our printer 5100cn lately.  Any text in black that is produced is very thirsty.  Black comes out fine in a few images, however, it seems just printing text effect.  All other colors work very well.  We have replaced the black toner, toner drum, made a dev of cleaning on the black toner (during which was a sound resonable amount) and reset the NVRAM.  All to nothing does not.  Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  • I have a photosmart b210 which began printing all my black in gray, the color is very well

My photosmart started printing any black ink in gray scale. the color is fine, but it's boring. I did matenence, such as cleaning the printheads, printer status report, report print quality (and that was even printed in dark gray)... what should I do?

    OK, let me clarify:

    • Black ink is not used when printing on Photo paper, because it is pigmented and not compatible with shiny media.
    • The most likely issue is having the vents blocked as described in the link I gave you a link.  My post in the link "soak the printhead" told to check first the items displayed in the link, that includes details of the ink level checking and vents are clear.
    • Another likely possibility is the use of third party inks.  Using HP replacement ink ink or a third party?
    • If you do not want to follow the suggestions here then Contact HP for warranty repair.  If you use third party, that repairs are not likely to be covered, ink HP accepts no liability for the quality of third party products.

    Help?

    M

This happened to me... Printed from a PDF document was gray and pink text and vector images. So, I need to print in color, not gray. less advanced in the print dialog box, I selected preserve primary CMYK and gray gray as K - only treat and preserve black. All three must be selected.

    I hope this helps!

I had this problem too, but it resolved now on the Apple store. They had seen previously on older hardware which has been updated for Sierra with FireVault market and occurs when the operating system is switching graphics modes. I got just my logic board replaced so wanted it is solved.

We have attempted to extinguish FireVault, but the question was still there. Then they have successfully installed a new copy of a Mavericks and the problem was gone. Then they installed a new copy of Sierra and the question is still missing. Now, I have re-enabled FireVault and the issue has gone.

  • OfficeJet 6500: I printed a PDF very well. tried to print a second, but he's stuck.

HP officejet 6500 E710n-z had no set of problems.  I have printed faxes, copied docs, printed Web page, print pdf document. Then tried to print a second pdf doc and the printer is locked - wouldn't print the document. I checked the Windows Control Panel, printers, and devices and I've seen two docs pdf waiting to print. I could delete the other, but not the first. It will not remove. I tried to delete the print job with no luck.  What should do?

    Hello

The steps below will help to remove the print spooler. His writings for Vista but should work on WIndows 7 as well with a few names being different.

    1. click on start, go to control panel and then go to the printers.
    2. double-click on the icon of your printer.
    3. in the new screen click on the printer from Word in the upper left corner in game a check mark with 'use printer offline '.
    4. disconnect the device from the computer.
    5. click on the printer of new word in the upper left corner and choose "cancel all the print. Expect that to happen.
    6. If it does not, restart your computer and check if the printjob is finished now. If it happens to skip step 6.
    7. If the printjob disappeared reconnect your printer and click printer again in the upper left corner and remove the check mark with 'use printer offline '.
    8. try to print.

  • Do not print colors exactly.

I use Lightroom 5 with a printer HP 6510.  I did everything with an iMac 10.7.5. My ink cartridges are filled.  When I go to print the colors are all pushed to the green.

Printing color works very well with other products like PowerPoint MSFT.

It seems to be an incompatibility between Lightroom 5 and my HP printer.

    Any ideas?

I wonder if this could be a problem with color management. I use another HP printer and I can not turn off the printer color management. So I always have to turn off the color management in Lightroom. If the printer and Lightroom are trying to manage the color, this can cause the problem you are experiencing.

  • Black text cartridge problem C410a - no or almost no printing ink on paper

I have a C410a and simply put in cartridges new (all). When I print a test page within the HP Solutions software since the test page is perfect. When I print a test page for the only visible bit Windows printer properties is the 4-color logo in the upper corner. When I print from MS Word I get only the text in color, no black text. If I change the color of the text to do anything otherwise black, printing using color fine ink cartridges.

I tried to change to normal Fast project at best in print quality settings. There is no visible text either in fast draft mode. In Normal mode, there are barely visible black text. In best mode it is faded black text.

I went through the steps on the HP site problems, and this has done nothing to solve the problem. I cleaned the contacts on the head, still no help.

After I put the cartridges again the black text cartridge to print a few pages and they were fine, then all of a sudden, there was nothing of this cartridge. The old previous cartridge was the same way - sometimes it print and sometimes it does not. Without rhyme or reason, just feel random and print do not.

Is there a way to check if there is something blocking the ink to come out of the cartridge or through the cartridge holder (or whatever we call it)?

There is a document with measures to try to follow located here.

If you have already completed the steps in the document, then most likely you are to the "eight Solution: replace the print head." If this is the case, then we have two options here. The first thing I would do is determine the status of the guarantee to the printer using the HP product warranty verification tool.

If the printer is under warranty, then I would contact HP Technical Support on this printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, so we have two options. You can order the print head with product number CN642a HP parts store online. You can look into making a print head soak. The information for this in the thread located here.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP ENVY 7645: new printer print black but not color

Brand new game last week print black but prints color also in black. It copys color sheets properly. I checked the configuration of the printer at the time of printing and the black and white box is unchecked. I checked and then unchecked the box black and white without result.

Thanks RnRMusicMan, but I had already tried all of your tips and they didn't work.  The printer is still under warranty, I went directly to the HP support and they solved the problem which was apparently that I had an old printer driver to a different installed printer that was interfering with the new driver with respect to printing in black and white in color.  After removing the old driver, the printer now works as expected.

  • How to avoid that 100% black text under conversion to treat black saving PDF of AI (CS4)?

I save a PDF of Illustrator CS4 which contains only 100% black text. Print my provider tells me that the text in the PDF file has been converted into 4 c, dark black. I tried all different settings of creating PDF (high quality, quality defect, PDFX3, press) from Illustrator, but nothing is. How can I create a PDF file that maintains 100% black and prevents to convert to the black process?

works very well here and I can't reproduce your problem. CS5, Windows 7

Test by creating a new document in CMYK color mode. Creation of a few boxes with a different amount of k. as 32% 50% 75%. Save as PDF with default preset (default Illustrator) and once again with the high quality print preset. Open the pdf in Acrobat files, go to advanced > print > overview of the release and place the cursor on the gray boxes, color values read the same thing in Illustrator - no conversion has been applied.

That you get different results when you perform this test?

  • CM1312 dark print color photos

I have a brand new nfi HP CM1312... connected via USB and two PC network running family vista premium and latest driver from hp.com

the photocopier and scanner produce likeness of good quality of the original in color or black and white.

but when you print a photo in color of each PC output is too dark and too much green tint. 75% is probably the original brightness.

There seems to be no available on the printer driver setting? the same photo printed on another printer (Inkjet) is very well...

Here, the dealer says it's what this model?

I thought at the time of WYSIWYG a new modern printer output would be at least as good as an older model... AND if the built-in scanner can produce almost 100% of the copies of the original, then the printer should also be able to as well...

    HELP SOMEONE

ATTENTION DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER IF YOU WANT A COMPATIBLE OUTPUT *.

I had some 'fun' try to set the output to match the screen.

The concession was not able to help or assistance HP or these forums. The dealer had the unit for two weeks to run tests and concluded that this is how the unit is. That I do not accept.

Before holding the camera in I noticed that there is a small amount of adjustment available if you install the software from the CD provided, called 'Toolbox '.

There is a parameter called "print quality" or something like that and inside, there is a list of parameters and a drop for each parameter. There should be adjustment of-5 to + 5 for each.

I had some success using these to adjust the output closer to the screen, but not exactly. I'm not after photoshop quality

    But please NOTE

The first time I installed the software toolbox and went to research it was only from-3 to + 5 available settings...

I installed the new firmware, but did not see any change...

He was similarly to the dealership where I returned the unit to complain, they found only-3 to + 5 available......

but after his return set unity and settle all the different versions of the HP software for this unit found on the website of HP and then by reinstalling from the CD provided (back to basics) on 04:55 adjustment was available... (I don't understand, but...)

so there you go... I'm not after photoshop quality as I said, but I expect my newsletters to be readable, including photos on it.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has problem with black ink printing

I have an Officejet Pro 8500 a printer. When I print documents, it will not print anything in black ink. The colors work very well, but just black will not print. The printer says that the black ink cartridge has plenty of ink, and when I shake it, I can say that there is something in there. So, I don't think it's a question of black ink out. Is there a chance that something is blocking the ink out? Any patches for this in addition to the purchase of a new ink cartridge?

Document here can help solve the black is not printing on your HP Officejet Pro 8500 has.

  • LaserJet CP1215-printing color out of alignment

    Hello

We have a laserjet CP1215 color and (I think since the replacement of the black cartridge) print colors out of alignment. It seems that only black ink is out of proportion with the other colors. Have tried various recalibration etc, but nothing has worked so far. I've been advised by our IT support company that it's a hardware problem.

I was wondering if it was just a case of a questionable cartridge that needs to be changed, but we do not have a spare part for the moment so I didn't spend the money on a new if someone could suggest anything!

I would be grateful for any help or suggestion.

    Thank you

    Rachel

    2. click the Device Configuration file and then click on the page of print quality .

    3. in the field of the color calibration, click Calibrate to calibrate the product immediately.

  • Black and white coloring images

When I try to use shades of black, gray or white all in a black and white picture old colouring, these colors are not displayed. All other colors work very well. Why does this happen?

I want dark grey concrete, but any gray color I use, it does not appear. Any suggestions?

Either that or, if you are happy with the rest of the image, make a fool of your layer of the base image, and then select and darken only its white area. Then use this image when you apply your color blending mode. In doing so, you do not compromise your original image.
