• Printing problems with Photosmart HP 6520 e-all-in-one on a Mac

  Hello!

  I just successfully saved and connected via WiFi to my new HP Photosmart 6520 e-all-in-one pritner. I even printed the page alignment and test successfully.

  When I tried to print documents in Word, Adobe PDF and TextEdit, the same result occurs each time. The first page that prints a text on my Mac such as:

  %! PS-Adobe - 3.0
  % APL_DSC_Encoding: UTF8
  % APLProducer: (Version 10.8.2 (build 12 c 60)

  And then many many many blank pages start printing after that. WHAT GIVES!

  I use a MacBook Pro with OSX Version 10.8.2 and tried to restart my printer and computer several times without success. Any help with this would be much appreciated!

  Restart your Mac.

  Reset the printing system:

  -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
  -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and then beside the dropdown 'Use', select the model of the printer (not AirPrint). Wait for the 'Add' button becomes available. Until it clicks.

  Now, if I do a table in the word processor Open Office and fill the cells with different colors, they print in black and white. Bonus. This is what I want. However ... When I print a page of Open Office spreadsheet (the ultimate goal), there are all the cells, printed in color of life.

• 6520 photosmart all-in-one

  Photosmart 6520 will not print my card envelopes. They are 5 3/4 x 3/8/4.  You another is4 size 3/8 x 5 3/4. When I print the larger size, I got the messsage that book does not match even if I properly checked envelope format. I spoke with HP support five different times to fix this problem. I finally learned today by technology there is no custom size available for this envelope. Does anyone have suggestions for this problem. I do a lot of graphics on my envelopes for homebound and need it works.

  Warranty just expired end of April this year. Are not even 200 pages printed since new (bought at HP direct), now WILL NOT print in black or barely, although the new cartridge and all the troubleshooting steps followed, in addition, each report says that it works properly... seems to be a persistant problem with this printer... bought two HP printers, as well as four different laptops from HP... NEVER again!

  I see that you have trouble with your black ink.

  Please complete all of the steps described in the following document; Printer cannot print black ink or color ink, or prints blank Pages. Although I hope that this solves the problem, he couldn't. You have a 6520, if the problem persists, I suggest you call HP support by phone even if the printer is out of warranty , you may need a replacement printer.

• Blue Screen of Death on my 6520 printer all in one

  I get the Blue Screen of Death when I try to print on my 6520.  I use the USB cable that came with my printer, am updated with downloads and registration.  My printer was purchased in March 2013, and it worked well for a while, but has been giving me the "blue screen" every time lately.  I can't think of something I did differently.  When I select 'Windows can check online for a solution to the problem' in the dialog box that appears, under ' Details: 'I get c:\Windows\Minidump\093013-21699-01.dmp.

  To answer your question on the use of a USB connection: I use the cable I ordered with the printer.  It has a USB connection on my computer and a connection 'square' with my printer.  The cable is grey and is thin.

  My husband who is more technical, I'm checking on many sites, and he finally got it fixed.  One thing that I remember is that he has updated a 'critical' update of HP.

  I don't know what else he did, but what he did worked, so my problem is solved.

• Photosmart 6520 e all-in-one: airprint not working after change of router

  After an upgrade of the router, my connections are all very well with the wireless and printing succeddful to see the wireless configuration. Computer (acer) laptop is fine, but now I can't print from my mac airbook or the ipad or the iphone. 'no airprinters found' I noticed that the printer's Ip address is 192.168.1.5 and the gateway is 192.168.1.1.  I can see the printer option in the settings / wifi on the ipad and it IP poster 192.168.223.100. ???

  so far, tried the usual things;

  1 router reboot

  2 restart apple devices

  3 settings factory restore on the printer and reconfigurung using WPS successfully

  4 turn off, unplug and restart the printer.

  No joy. ePrint thanks to my address hpemail works but nothing else.

  Anyone got any bright ideas?

  I've sorted my own problem and I put this here for everyone in a similar situation with airprint questions. The problem for me was my new router from talk talk upgraded. Everything seems fine. Configures and implements and should work but if you have 2 routers following it will not airprint to devices apple;

  D - Link DSL 3680 (can restart as ready upgrade)

  DSL 3780 (MINE!) "Firmware update later this year.

  until such time as in this case, you could avoid 2 daus trying to restart, print, check the addresses Ip, etc like I did...

• Can't print on network Ethernet on 6520 HP all-in-one

  All computers are running windows 8.1. My question or the question is the following: before you buy a wireless router Mediabridge, wireless-n 300 mps broadband router, I had a router Zyxtel wireless access point. I'm Ethernet and wireless. Before the Mediabridge I want network printing on my HP printer both wireless (iPhone) and on an Ethernet network (PC and laptop).
  
  There is an improvement in printing wireless on an iPhone. I can't print my Ethernet NETWORK any longer. I have to unplug my laptop before printing before that my laptop can see the printer online. With my second PC in another room, I am unable to print via Ethernet network. The printers are installed, drivers and others, but as with the laptop, I have to disconnect the Ethernet cable to print.
  
  My error messages are showing that the printer cannot be found or or my control panel printing devices display offline. If I unplug my laptop I can see the printers online. But I don't want to have to take out a second PC in another room to print.
  
  Can you offer any suggestions. Should I connect my printer directly to the Mediabridge wireless router?

  Whenever I have print anything, it ejects always an extra white page later.  He did until I went Windows 8.1, and she always does since I've upgraded to Windows 10.  Is it a setting I can adjust or malfunction?  Thank you for your time and your help.

  Hello, bought 2 hours there, everything was going great, wifi connected, etc etc, but I can't change my phone Android to Portrait photo printing and also the printer will only print to A4 paper tray.  I have only 4 sheets of photo paper to play with, because they do not weigh enough to be recognized?  All/any help would be appreciated.

  I see that you're looking to print photos from your Android phone, something that you have done since the printer was purchased, but until recently you could not.

  What is the version of the operating system installed on the Android? Also, what are you trying to print from the Gallery of media on the phone, an E-mail, an App, etc.?

  Try to print the photo of HP ePrint App. This can be downloaded for the game store.

  This guide: loading plain paper, Photo paper and envelopes, is just for a quick review to make sure that the photo paper is loaded correctly. He should choose the paper, even when only a single sheet is loaded.

  Did you install software and drivers on the CD supplied with your printer to your computer? If so, you can select a photo/image, and print, BUT if you want a nicer look, you can use software HP Photo Creations for print. This software should be on the CD or you can download it from the following link:

• 6520 photoSmart all-in-one: problems of scanning HP6520

  I had issues when I was with Win7-64 bit, but now its even worse since the installation of Win10-64 bit.  I have to open the Setup Wizard to go through the routine of checking on the printer to test the scan to get the scanner to work.  Works very well this way, but such a long way around to just scan of a photo.  Is there something I can do to fix this?

  Have no problem with the impression that he is still printing the 1st page to last although I programmed it to print last page 1 on the 1st last page.  Minor problem. that I can live.

  • • How the printer is connected (USB / wireless / wired / Bluetooth)?
    • You can successfully make copies of the front of the unit?
    • Have you tried the front of the printer and the scanner software?
    • Do you receive error messages when you try to scan and if so, what they say?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software?
    • What firewalls and antivirus software are installed?
    • Have you tried to disable or uninstall the?
    • You have the device connected directly to a wall outlet (avoiding electrical surge bars, etc.)?

  Also I would like to know how you install the software, disks, download them, or running it HP printer install wizard for Windows.
