7520 stop scan wireless

I had the 7520 for about six months without any problem. But now it won't scan to my laptop. I use a Windows 7, 64-bit Toshiba with all latest updates.

I use Photoshop and access Analyzer that. It has worked very well so far. The only change I lived in the network is a change in the ISP address when I rebooted the router. I have reset the printer's wireless address and am now able to print from my laptop.

But Photoshop still doesn't show that a scanner is available.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software for basic printing. But what happens when I click on the printer icon on my desktop or from the start menu, or on the HP Scan icon, I get two opening screens of notebook computer code, the titles being "HPSolutionsPortal.hta" and "HPSPProgress.hta".  And that's all that happens.

Thanks for the tips!

I was scanning documents with the PS 7520 and Adobe Pro XI, when, for no apparent reason, I lost the ability to analyze.  I received the following error message - "error while interacting with the scanner: the selected scanner was not found."  The printer/scanner was successfully created in Windows and the device appears under the selected name.  I was able to regain the functionality of scanning by restarting and update the printer IP address.  Printing documents wirelessly seems to be affected.

My question is... what happened, why, and what should I do if this problem occurs again?

suggest that you CALL the HP TECHNICAL support and start a business.

If your printer is new, in the short term, you should be able to return the printer to the store for a refund...

However, long-term, to the least, having an open case can ensure a certain level of protection for yourself where it continues to be (and probably will)...

Hello @Williams2and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you have any questions about your ability to scan.  I would like to help!

You are connected via a USB cable or a wireless connection?

I recommend to remove printer ink cartridges and reset the power supply.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I suggest also download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 stopped scanning

I have my 8600 Officejet Pro connected to my computer and use Windows 7. When I got the all-in-one, he scanned beautifully. Then one day he just stop scanning. I get an error when I try to scan which said"The HP 8600 Pro Ofifcejet not found. »

I ran the HP Print & Scan Doctor half a dozen times and to halfway through, I still get the error message "The HP Officejet Pro 8600 was not found."

On the HP Print & Scan doctor, when she leaves, I get a screen that verifies offshore:

    -Device Manager

    -Pilot Check

    -Device status

    -Windows (WIA) Scan

And then I have a yellow triangle with an explaination in next to "HP Twain scanning" brand

He has a box that says: "Please save your work and close all applications. Unplug it from your printer by pulling on the power cord from the printer. Plug it back, turn it back on, and then click "Restart the computer." Once the computer is restarted, run this utility again. "What I've done several times - it doesn't change ANYTHING. Still, I get "The HP Officejet Pro 8600 is not found" error box again...

I would add also, I was able to print without missing a beat and I use a USB cable to connect the MFC to my PC as our wireless here at the office isn't bad.

  • Photosmart 6520: HP Photosmart printer will scan wireless but do not print wireless

Two days ago my HP printer suddenly stopped printing wireless.  My MacBook says "could not find the printer.  I can scan wireless from my macbook to my printer but when I print wireless it can't find it.  My internet has not changed, the router has not changed, rather than my printer and the laptop has not changed.  So, what might be the problem.  I can type the IP address of printers in my address bar on my laptop and access the printer and do print and scan but just can't do when I'm in a document and select 'print '.  Any ideas?

    Hi @Booseebean,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

I understand that you use a Photosmart HP 6520 e-all-in-one printer with a Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan computer and you are unable to print because the MacBook says "could not locate the printer", even if you are able to scan wireless. I would like to help with that.

The steps in this document of support should be able to help - "printer offline" or "printer not responding" Message (OS X).

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • Can not scan wireless to the printer to the computer

I can't scan my Photosmart Wireless B110 printer wireless to my laptop using Windows 7 IE. I can scan wireless using the laptop, which shows that the system can work. It allows to analyze all right, but it just stopped and I tried everything I can find on the site of HP. I deleted the printer and that restored it and I uninstalled all the software and tried to reinstall it but kept getting fatal error message saying that there is a newer version of the same software already on my computer, even though I had removed everything I could find with the name of HP on this subject!

A specific problem seems to be that the laptop will not recognize the IP address of the printer so that every convenience store programs think that the printer is not installed so I can print wireless from laptop and scan also. I would appreciate your help to be able to scan from the printer and hopefully discover why the IP address is not recognized.

Thank you for your answer fast (I'm not used to it as you can see from my previous posts!).

I got the same error message when I pressed the icon Apps so I went to reset the static IP address, as you suggest. The box that says 'Suggests a manual IP' is grayed out so I gave the IP as it was. Then, I moved the section DNS server under which I had left empty as suggested in the other post I had followed. I put the 8s and 4S who told you and now it works perfectly.

Thanks a lot for your help. He needed only two positions experienced to get my printer working again but I had to wait a long time before you me is reached. There must be a lesson there for HP to take on board. In any case thanks a lot again. I gave fame and marked the post as solved.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 first stopped scanning

My Officejet Pro 8500 has stopped scanning.  The message window says it is not connected to the network.

I changed my DSL provided by the local cable company to ATT U verse a few months ago, but the problem does not seem to be related to this change.  I say this because when I ran the diagnostics, the printed page says that my problem is "the wireless radio does not work. Contact HP support. »

HP support offered advice tech for $29) warranty, or sell me a new all-in-one.

The wireless radio can be fixed? Is it a software problem.  I have to buy a new all-in-one?

    Hello JessicaD,

I see that you have a problem with the wireless radio fails on your Officejet 8500. To inform you in this regard, if the radio has failed, it is not a replaceable part by customer, but I'll try to help you with the problem.

Start as a result of this document: printer does not maintain the wireless connection.
With this document, I would like to track:
    (1) restore your default settings of network on the printer.
Go to setup (can be a wrench), network, and then restore the default settings of the network. After that the power on the printer.

    (2) turn off the wireless radio.
Go to Configuration > network > wireless radio, you must have the option to turn it off.

    (3) hard reset of the printer.
While the printer power cable for 30 seconds, while the cable is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. It's draining the printer of all power. Reconnect the cable.

    (4) turn on the wireless radio and reconnect.
Go to Configuration > network > wireless radio - on. Then, go to Configuration > network > wireless are running the configuration wizard.

If it was not successful in entering you connected to the network and or print wireless. You still have another option with the printer to try before replacing.
If you have an Ethernet cable, you can set a wired network connection. Plug the Ethernet (cat5 cable) cable into the printer and the router. It will be assigned the printer a new IP, which means that you will need to add the printer to the computer. This will still allow the printer on the network and communicate with a wireless device.

Please try all above and I would like to know how everything goes. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

Hello Moor_lady, if you are using Windows 7, you can try to reset your printer wireless.

Go to control panel of configuration, devices, and printer and in the menu bar above, select Add a printer in the lower option, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

There should be another window that shows all available printers to be added. See if your wireless network printer can be found. If so, select this option and continue the process.

    HP Photosmart B209 more Pinter a - m

I am able, with a usb connection to scan from the printer to my computer;  I want to scan wireless to the printer on my computer.

    Thank you

    Hello Mocha7 ;

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I read your post on the analysis of the problems with your HP Photosmart Plus B209 a - m and wanted to help.

I don't have the same printer model, but I do not have other HP printers, and the process is essentially the same.  When you install the full exercise for the printer software, it installs a shortcut on the desktop that allows you to scan to PC.  I did it with two different HP network printers and it works the same for both.

So, you need to check that you have installed the complete service for the printer software. The linked page is for Win7 software and the driver for your printer: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Photosmart-Plus-All-in-One-Printer-series---B2/3777155/model/3777156

IF it shows no Windows 7 when you open it, click the Edit button and select Windows 7 from the pulldowns.

In addition, this link is to the page for your printer troubleshooting: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-Plus-All-in-One-Printer-series---B2/3777155/model/3777156/troubleshooting

Please note that there are two procedures, you should try to use: printing using doctor Scanand a communication or connection error ...  See if they are able to help you solve the problem of scanning.

    Good luck

Instead of posting your question in the Feedback forum, where you post your feedback on the web site of Microsoft Answers, you should have posted in forum hardware and drivers, which is where I moved your post.  Please return to your message, click on edit, change the Version of Windows, menu dropdown to indicate which version of Windows you are using, and then click on submit.

Frankly, you should talk to a repair shop, don't ask this question here.  It seems that the internal mechanism in your Lexmark has failed.

  • HP Officejet 150: Can not scan wireless

I have a HP all-in-ONE Officejet 150 and that you are unable to scan wireless.  Right now, I can't even the bluetooth icon to turn blue, although it said that the radio is on.  I took my old printer because of such problems.  I handed to factory, combined with my Sony computer, but it does not recognize my computer.  Suggestions?  I can use a cable and get it to the scan, but that defeats the purpose of bluetooth technology.

    Hi @Dragonbebe,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you can not scan wireless with your mobile printer HP Officejet 150. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

This printer can only scan with the printer cable USB is plugged. As the wireless Bluetooth connection is strictly to be printed. Please see the user's Guide, for more information your printer.

My cn 1355 is on my home network.  I have fine print, and have swept between her on the network to an application.  The other day it stopped scanning.  Nuance PaperPort (shipped with the printer) say now when running configuration Analyzer Wizard "no software not detected.  The scanner power is off, the cable is not correctly connected, or address IP settings are correctly entered. "I am running Windows 7.  By checking the printer selection dialog, it indicates that the printer has a valid address is in energy saving mode and has a green check mark.  I can always print it.  ???

Since the announcement, I saw another thread on the same topic. The printer is supplied with software PaperPort 12 and then the selection "analyze" the software reports "Scanner not found". There is a button on the bottom of the dialog box in PaperPort with 'Port '. I selected that, no changes, just accept the settings and then tried to scan again - and that market as before!

Yes, you can only buy 10.6.3 (I checked last), but you really need to do software updates again and again until there is no more
