  Just a thought.  Fed up with Ribbon school drop-outs and having to clean the heads.  What is there to stop capture me while I film via firewire and laptop?  Someone doing this?  I would like it to DVD because I want to edit in optimal quality.  I have asked before why hard drive cameras do not do this (they all compress) and the answer that I had was that cameras have not a processor fast enough to write DV so that complete filming.  But I can put my camera Sony HVR1AP to save rather than reading while only connected with firewire and DV recording like this on the computer.  Well, computers are not infallible then I would have a band in there as a backup.  In theory, but why not?  I would not be limited to the length of a band and would save transfer time.  Also, brings us again in regards to why there is not plenty of DV cameras out there, if a laptop computer is able to do this.  All thoughts welcome.   • You can always capture a DV and HDV tape to answer the main question.
  • Other than that, you can shoot and capture hard disks, even using standard HD camcorders and devices.

  Hello. My PC is not a FireWire device because the FireWire card does not fit after I installed 2 video cards for crossfire, so the way to there, to capture video with my camera HD is on my Mac via FireWire. The problem is that video files captured on

My ideal configuration is one where I use the Mac simply to capture, and I say video programs like QuickTime or iMovie, to record the video captured on my pc (because my pc and Mac are connected via Ethernet). However, how can I enter in a way that makes the windows-compatible video files, without recourse to having to convert the videos every time? If I install first items in my Mac, will be able to capture in a way that makes the videos compatible with premiere elements on my PC?

  I had the same problem when my old ant crashed the laptop a new was not equipped with firewire.

  As I use Elements I installed the software on 2 computers: my iMac and my Windows PC.

  It's perfectly legal, you can have the software on 2 personal equipment if you do not use at the

  same time (it's an installation DVD in my case) with a single license.

  When I capture on MAC with Premiere Elements, mpg files are created. You can use them to clip PC editing.

  In some cases I use iMovie to capture software natively time code splitting, that you can not with

  Elements with HDV footage. In this case, I need to convert files (with MPEG Streamclip) to be able to change

  with other software.

  ATR: it is a classic in Mac environment, because problem as the MPEG2 codec is not natively installed on the system,

  for the sake of license. You can buy an add-on (component MPEG2 Quicktime for Mac) on the apple store to be able to read MPEG2

  format QuickTime or iMovie, but it does not allow to write in this format. Apple has specific format used for HDV formats

  capture (a kind of extended MPEG2) in order to have the modification of the file with the HDV participation with iMovie.

  You can however make a recording of your Logitech using Quicktime Player or photo booth, and then import the file from iMovie.

  Well, I looked at the manual. If I try to use a microphone with this mobo, I'd be very inclined to mount the system audio front panel, as it seems to have an understanding of slightly different mic that work peut better (although I think that you must run the configuration utility to configure). The details of this are on page 30 of the manual. For starters, it seems that he might in fact be two mic channels, which probably means that they took little seriously, a little more than usual.

  I still think that the preamp is better, but I won't get it a chance to consider the issue until tomorrow.

  If you mean directly on registration of the computer drive HARD, rather that to tape or flash memory, I agree with John T. Adobe OnLocation will do, with most cameras, but is only available with the PrPro and not before.

  Thank you for your help. I tried the maintenance of places without success. I have disabled xMarks, but it made no difference, I couldn't save all new bookmarks. I went on the site help above and deleted the "places.sqlite" file and recreates a new file, but it didn't work. I uninstalled Firefox full using IOBit Uninstaller and reinstalled, but I found this program does not delete the profile folder (used to have a checked during uninstall of Firefox, but it seems to have disappeared in the latest versions). The problem persisted.

  Finally, I took a screenshot of all my addons. Then, I uninstalled Firefox again, then delete the entire folder profiles (located very usefully described in the second link above https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#w_fix-the-bookmarks-file )
  I reinstalled Firefox, reinstalled xMarks and connected and transferred all my favorites, I reinstalled all my previous addons and ALTO - it now everything works perfectly!

  Depends on. The receiver has Microsoft Word

  If so, open the document, and in the top menu bar, tap Share > Send a copy > Mail > Word > next... and follow the instructions.
