  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  You do not want to delete the record for the integrated Distributor, because that will cause problems and given what you have described the probably won't solve the problem.

  The most common cause of E_LIC_NO_DISTRIBUTION_RIGHTS is because you try to make a loan (URL with action = enterloan instead of action = enterorder), when you have not created a right distribution of type "ready".  In the administration console, if you have already created a right distribution of type buy, then in the inventory tab, with the Distributor, then the resource selected, you just need to click on the icon "+" next to the distribution rights and to create a new right 'ready' type distribution  If your problem is that you did not create the distribution rights for the Distributor, and then you can drag the resource on the distribution server to create a first 'buy' distribution right.

  Alternatively, you can also use DistribTool.jar to create the appropriate distribution right.  Documentation for this tool is in the documentation of source sample.

  However the DistribTool and AdminConsole end up doing the same thing, which is to use the ManageDistributionRights admin web service endpoint to create a new right of distribution.  If these tools are not to your liking, you're probably better choose a writing tool in your preferred language to make calls to services web admin, so that you can make it work as you want it to work instead of the DistribTool way or AdminConsole works.

  I recently changed my dsl cable and Internet service provider. Everything worked fine when I had dsl (no problem connecting by router) but now I can only connect to the internet when the cable modem is connected directly to one of my PCs. I tried to reset the router by default and computers can see each other on the lan, but after trying to reconfigure the router with the modem cable connected it does not detect not the new address ip & dns info even if the adapter is configured to receive the ip address and dns automatically (in windows and the settings of the router.)

  Hi Viking_Dan,

  It is really difficult to troubleshoot network connections because there are so many factors that might cause a problem. I'll do my best, however.

  Make sure that you connected the modem cable to the router using the Ethernet port on the router (Wide Area Network) "WAN". Then try to ping the router from an elevated command prompt window. The default IP address is usually something like 192.168.1.1, or similar. Check with your router's configuration. The ping command is:

  Ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

  (where the x's represent the IP address)

  You will receive all 4 packets back with 0% loss. If you do not have, so I'm puzzled. If you receive all 4 packages without losses and still can't connect to the internet, then check if the radio for the router matches the capacity of your PC. Your router may have a frequency of 2.4 GHz only, only 5 GHz, or a mixture. Your PC can support one of those, or both. Check to see if they match.

  If it still does not work, try to set a static IP address for each of your PCs, with the IP address of the router as the default gateway. For the DNS server, I suggest that you use the DNS from Google free, fast and secure server. The IP address is 8.8.8.8

  I don't know which cam you use but when the cam is connected and recognized correctly, it will be listed in the Device Manager. So, do you need some software to have access to the material recorded. By using this software you can record the film on the computers HARD drive.

  Later, you can create DVD or do something else. I have more old digital camcorder tape 8 of 8mm inside. I connect the cam with firewire cable too. When the cam is activated, it is recognized and I can copy films of the tape to the computer s portable HARD drive. For this I use Ulead Movie Maker software.

  I have a HP with a hard drive 10G under Windows Millennium Edition.   The computer has a USB port, but no opening for a network card.  The Control Panel on ME seems to have capacity only for the connection with a phone modem.

  Do you have cable or DSL?  If so, you can get a USB gadget that will allow you to connect, assuming you can find one that is Windows ME compatible.  This could be a challenge if for me has been not supported for so long now, but look and see what you can find.  You can always get a modem and use the dial, but it is slow by today's standards would be an understatement.

  When you say that your wifi apt, it's your own personal network or provided by a complex of apartments for the residents?  Is that what you must pay for, or is it a free hot spot?  What is you get the exact error message?  If it's your personal network in your own apartment, what type of router is and is it secure?  If it is fixed, what kind of security it uses?  Answers to these questions will help us better diagnose your problem and propose solutions.

  DNS errors can mean different things, depending on what is the exact error message, but generally means that your computer does not have the DNS information from the router or server that is supposed to provide the IP address, gateway and DNS information on the computer when you log on.

  I can connect to this computer Vista if I place a network of unecured although the same router (guest) and I have many other machines connected via the same secure network.  I have havce the entered key corectly etc.  All the drivers are up to date and service packs are installed.  I read a lot of similar problems and tried as many of the solutions proposed without success.  My machine will be hired and auto-Découvrez the secure network and yet it completely connect not through the Internet.  Help, please.

  Method 1:
  Disable the security software and check if it helps.
  Disable the antivirus software:
