A horizontal gray line guard appearing through my paintings.

I use Photoshop cc and a horizontal gray line guard appearing through my paintings, is not an element so I can't select it. What is this and how do I get rid of him?

It's weird. The dotted lines, nothing has changed in the preferences > Guides, grids & slices? My immediate thought was that an oversized grid was performed exactly as it appears on all paintings. If you press Ctrl H and I stay would be temporary uncheck the GPU settings to remove that from the address.

  • Horizontal line to appear in the display of Toshiba 32BL502

    Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba 32BL502 32 in Super Slim LED TV - purchased the 11th of this month.
The first time, I unplugged my blu - ray player HDMI cable and connected to my laptop instead, it was absolutely perfect.

The 2nd time, however. It caused a horizontal line to appear on the screen - and it is always there now. I tried to turn it turned off and unplugging everything - is there any which output is on.

I informed E-buyer, the company I bought, and I think they should be able to replace or repair.
But I would like to know how to avoid what is happening again!

Is it as simple as just turn off until I unplug the blu - ray player HDMI cable to plug into the laptop? Thanks for your help!

    Hello

In my opinion its just not lucky.
There is no special procedure to connect a display to a blu - ray player or a laptop.
The display can be ON or OFF which makes no difference.

  • HP Pavilion DV6-6117dx - horizontal flickering lines appear after the display turns off automatically

The DV6-6117dx model (as well as other HP Pavilion laptops) have experienced a problem where the screen will display a flickering, horizontal line to the top of the screen, after it has been automatically disabled (note: not in sleep or Standby Mode).

There is a setting to "off the display of [X] minutes" in power options.  I have my DV6-6117dx value dim the screen after 10 minutes and turn it off after 15 minutes of inactivity.  Sometimes, but not always, when I move the mouse to turn the screen back on, a couple of flickering horizontal lines will appear at the top of the screen.  It is very annoying, and the only way to remove them and to have the screen back to normal is one.) put the computer to sleep and wake it or b.) restart the entire system.

Everything by putting the laptop to sleep and wake-up is not a huge problem, I wouldn't do that, period.  I owned a laptop Toshiba for about 6 years and never had a problem with her like this (the reason why I bought a new laptop was because my old man was 6 years old and the technology was outdated a lot, a lot).

HP says it's a software problem, but it did come with a way to fix it yet (at least not that I've found).  I ask all the 'Experts' out there if they have a final way to solve this common issue experienced by some models of HP laptops?  I said to uninstall and reinstall video drivers without success.  I said to install video drivers only to AMD, and then only to HP, and then only from Windows Update, but none of these solutions worked.  I said to update BIOS, but it does not solve the problem.  I told him to try to restore the system to the factory settings, but this did not help.  It is obviously a software problem, but nobody at HP seems to have a definitive solution, how to fix it.  Is my only hope to return to my laptop to be replaced by a different model entirely?

I hope that someone out there has an answer, it's a common issue that I know a lot of owners of portable HP experienced.  Thank you!

  • HP pavilion dv7-6b55dx - line quarter inch Horizontal gray in the middle of the screen

Recently bought a HP pavilion dv7-6b55dx notebook from Best Buy.  Recently, the screen started to have a quarter inch gray horizontal line in the middle of it.  Gray line has more grey lines inside.  6 month warranty just expired.  Y at - it 'easy' for this solution or the screen is just broken?

It is usually the screen.  LaptopScreen.com has replacements for usually less then $60, which includes shipping. To be sure that it is the screen, connect an external monitor and make sure that there is no grey lines on the external monitor.  If there is, then it is assumed the video chip. Move fourth screen of the laptop and see if the lines disappear.  If they do, then it is the cable from the motherboard to the screen.

    Hello sz6,.

Looks like you may need to clean the lid of the scanner printer and it's other components.

See this troubleshooting article for step by step instructions.

Vertical stripes, lines or streaks on Copies, faxes or scan

This article can also help to solve your problem.

Received faxes are empty or have vertical lines

Articles specifically mention the vertical lines, but given that printing works very well and it has only the faxes or scans I think that information is still valid.

bbjae, it looks like there may be a residual electric charge accumulated in the unit.  When was the last time you did a Hard Reset on this unit?

    Hard Reset:

    * Unplug the unit while the printer is on

Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Plug power back in and make sure that the device is running

  • Horizontal white line on the screen of the Satellite has

    Hello

My white horizontal computer screen line recently appeared across the screen. Computer works normal, but I don't know how to solve this problem?
    What could be the reason?

I'm afraid it's because of the defective m display.
You can connect your laptop to an external display to see if the same thing will happen. If this isn't the case, it is the best evidence for my theory.

  • Satellite L300D-20R - horizontal white line on screen

Switched my laptop this morning and the display is simmering and seems to have a shadow. The top 2 inches is OK; under the tent of 2 inches, there is a horizontal white line about 1/16 "thick. below this line, the screen is simmering, appears dark and foggy.

What can I do to fix this?

That's better than you can do. I assume that the display is faulty somehow.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: scanning on glass OK; scanning with ADF gives a gray line

Hello there is Marc aka @mk75053 ,

I'm sorry to learn that when you scan from your ADF file, you see a line on your document. This is usually fixed by clean under the scanner, however there could be other causes. I have the best guide for this type of situation that will show you where clean and give the appropriate instructions. I hope that this rid your question!

  • LaserJet M5035 MFP: I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document

    Hello

When sending e-mail through the printer scanner, I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document. Scanning is done from the "feeder ' ' the printer and not the glass.

    The windows were all cleaned.

I did the test and digital printing of the "feeder ' ' and I have no lines for printing!   I did update the firmware of the printer and I still have the same result.

You have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you

The small windows of the charger scanner had a small red above mark.  When the analysis has been done and sent on an e-mail, the line shows as it is scanned were made with the color scan option.  If I print the line doesn't show because the printer is not color!

    Hi Chatsworth52,

Sorry to hear that none of the steps has helped solve this problem.

Most likely the print head needs to be replaced, but no guarantee that will fix this problem either.

  • HP Pavilion m6 random Gray lines at startup

My HP Pavilion notebook m6 just randomly started appearing grey lines on different sections of the screen during startup. Usually, it also causes the laptop to close. I tried to tilt the screen back to see if it was a connection to the screen, but it changed nothing. Plug the charger is the entire screen have gray lines when starting. I mean by gray lines, it is almost as if you unplug the cable from the TV. Some lines are just randomly and staticy yellow and black type. When the laptop starts up and gets past the login screen is not do.

Any help as to why he does this?

Well, I sat for an hour after struggling to understand the problem...

Sometimes if you held the power button down it would be arrives at start of Windows then going crazy, went from a gray staticy flicker to blue to red, etc., then turns off. I took out battery, hold the power button for 1 minute to get rid of all the energy stored, deleted RAM memory and reinstalled everything.

Oddly enough, the computer starts fine in mode safe mode, but not in the regular windows all the time.

Has finally got to start Windows, travelled the HP support site and did an audit and found updates the BIOS was one of them. Updated it restarts fine now. Will post if anything that acts to the top once again!
