A7/A7r menu troubleshooting

Hallo

How can I save my settings to location of memory 1 or 2?

I put memory button c1 and guide button c2 in the dialogue of customization of the help button.

I change fine in raw, auto hdr to autobracketing with 3 stops and I choose my preference of white balance, I want to save my stations I'm used to working with slot 1 in the bench of dial, I try pressing button c1 to save my settings on the bottom screen, there is indication of OUTPUT by pressing the Center button not how to keep, I'm assuming it was a reminder of solidstate and he would had saved itself in this way, but no way. So I'm obviously missing something with the callback function...   PS: whenever I go to 1 or 2 manual, it is up to the FINE, DRO-AUTO, PUT. but on M-manual it maintains the aperture value and shutter value * for example. Bulb... *

Any help would be appreciated... ty.

Jule

Press 'Menu', under the camera icon go to page 7, the option at the bottom is "memory".

Choose either 'save 1 or 2' and arrow to save your settings.

Found this by accident because it was not covered in the manual.  ^_^

  • Hall 20: I can't do a system restore to overcome the refusal of the system to accept the password.

I did a restore to factory on the Pavilion 20. Pressing me F11 has troubleshooting screen and I chose the system restore. All right

I set up the UserName Admin and the password carefully (but don't think to do a password recovery disk).  I installed a different AntiVirus Norton application, a default value.  So I uninstalled Norton.  It required a reboot to complete uninstallation.

This is where my problems started.

Upon restart, the computer will not accept the password!  There is no mistake here.  It was carefully designed and entered in the creation of duing twice.  I even considered perhaps that I soon take my finger on the SHIFT key (twice) then tried many variations of SHIFT or no change for the capitals and even the next character in the password.  I restarted 50 times trying to get just one time and then I would like to choose a new password for connection.

For the next, I thought I could just do a restore of the system from zero and re - configure again.  But now there is no option for me to use the system recovery.  This option is missing!  I spent many hours on searches of google for similar problems.  It's just not there.  I tried to use F10 and F11 to enter the system recovery.  I get to the menu troubleshooting and it has 3 options: Refresh uoir PC, reset your PC options and advanced.
Clicking on advanced options gives me the system restore (a restore point (doesn't) usung) System Image recovery, startup repair, command prompt and UEFI firmware settings.

I'm positn gthis in the hope that I can do a system recovery to the command prompt.  Is this possible?  If this is not the case, how can I do a system restore when the OPtion is not avaiiable?

    Hello Newton51

It will display the number of full model of the computer.

I don't know what happened on your system but when you do the reset of the system, don't go not advanced.

You should be able to click on reset your PC. That will erase the C: partition and reinstall Windows.

When its finished, and you get to the part where it asks you to create a password for the user, LEAVE BLANK.

Restart to make sure you can connect without using a password.

IF you succeed at this stage, create your HP Recovery Media via the HP Support Assistant.

If you enter an impasse once again, recovery media will wipe the drive and reinstall everything, including the recovery partition.

NOTE: HP will allow you to record only one copy of the recovery media, so not to interrupt the process when you start.

    Now remove Norton and restart.

Install this that never new you want security.

When you're done, go to your user profile and carefully create your word password but do not close yet.

Create the key to reset password on a USB key.

Now restart and test your password.

You have a USB reset if it doesn't.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

If you are not able, or do not succeed to reset the PC, you have two options. Use the MS media creation tool to create recovery media (from another computer).

Then, reinstall Windows 8.1 and download your HP drivers and install them.

    Or

Order directly the appropriate recovery of the HP Support media.

Contact HP worldwide | HP® official site

Choose the country you are. Choose Help, then to the House.
Enter the full product number and follow the prompts to contact Support.

Chat with an agent will ensure that you get the appropriate recovery media.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: HP Pavilion 15 laptop: System Restore completed successfully. The problem is not resolved.

About 3-4 weeks ago, my computer found himself in a reboot loop. I was not online at the time where he was probably not due to an update.

After going on the HP Web site, it was first suggested that the issue could be overheating due to dust. I followed the instructions but it does not work.

Diagnosis is directed which has determined that there are no problems with the hardware or memory.

Then the site suggested that I do a Refresh system or a system restore. I tried the cooling system. It did not work.

I contacted HP Tech Support hotline and they told me to update the drivers. Drivers cannot be updated / installed (by me at least) in Safe Mode, if it does not work.

Then told me the only choice I had was to do a Factory Reset/System Restore.  After the purchase of an external HARD drive and backup of my files, I tried to do the factory reset. I received a prompt to insert a disc, but computer did not come with a disc. If it does not work.

Then I was told by support that I had to buy "recovery disc" or a new copy of Windows 8.1. Technical support said it was the only way to solve the problem. By chance, I found another video that shows how to access recovery tool of real system since menu troubleshooting at start-up.

System recovery completed successfully. However, while creating the new installation of Windows 8.1 (implementation name, country, favorite colors, e-mail etc.) the original reboot loop problem started. If it does not work. Even worse, because the Windows installation is incomplete - and can complete because of the reboot loop - I can access more fashion is safe.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Miracles would net you have my firstborn (eat too in any case).

Okay, so I had to take the machine to a technician. What she said is that it was certainly not a hardware problem. Its best estimate is that my computer As witn infected a Trojan horse which subsequently transferred, entered the BIOS and corrupted partition.

Short history of Tech, they fixed by redoing the BIOS and installing a new copy of Windows 8.1. I asked about the other options that I received. She explained that a remote technical support could not fix the problem, nor recovery disks could solve the problem.

My advice to all who encounter such a complex problem, when you contact HP Support don't forget to request contact information for a local HP technician, licensed (I only asked for this in desperation by accident). Just in case your problem is not easily diagnosed or solvable, it might just save you some time, money and spare you confusion.

As for how I got infected with the Trojan possible in the first place, no idea. The only thing I can think is that I've opened an e-mail looking strange but legitimate to someone I didn't know. However, it was about 6 months ago and the problem started a month before, so I at least do not know if there is a link. However, it is always good advice not to open strange e-mails. Note that the technician did say that even if I had Norton installed, it would not be able to automatically detect the problem. (I wonder if I called Norton technical support if they could have helped or pointed me in the right direction faster. But even once, any comments or information I received from HP technical support gave usable clues. "And refresh the system that has been proposed did uninstall Norton).

So, I have a computer to work again. I hope this info can be useful to someone and avoid frustration. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my post.

  • 3FO error in HP E-1000

    Help!

In November last 28,2013, my father brought a laptop HP E-1000 for me as an advanced Christmas present.

the E-1000 HP has an AMD processor and Windows 8 monolingual installed operating system.

That's happened? Last week, I use it regularly with my friends, we used it after that, I simply put it in fashion 'sleep', it stayed like that for an hour, after an hour, I opened the lid to use it again, but he was hanged, there was only a black screen, no cursor, no nothing, just a black screen Uni...

So yes he hanged so I thought to make a manual restart by holding and pressing the power button until it turns off. He died. I restarted, but it got stuck on the loading screen, the blue HP Logo with a loading circle, I left it like that, finally it starts up the screen of Windows 8 lock after 4 hours, it took hours before it starts, I know that something s up...

So I looked online for a solution, many have said that I need to "freshen up" using the recovery of Windows 8, no problem! When starting, I clicked on F11 Menu troubleshooting, click "Refresh", it has restarted the same screen, but with the text "refresh your PC (-%). ', so I sit back and wait.

    And now, here's the problem.

Refreshing configuration goes from 11%, he suddenly stopped by itself, no, the laptop is plugged in, more it has the blue/white led indicating that the battery is fully charged. I decided to repeat the process. I clicked the power button, a message saying 'Check media' is appeared, and then here, the mistake of 'install the OS' 3F0.

If you ask, Yes, my laptop is obviously still in the title of the 1 year warranty period because it is just the age of 5 months.

If you ask too much, Yes, I dropped my phone once, but it was screen first, then there was a 0.5 inch tooth in the lid, and during the 1st week of January 2014 (what a great way to start 2014 ), there was no damage from this fall, I ran all kinds of tests to drive HARD and the laptop I know and there was no damage There was no sign of the death of the HARD drive, the laptop is really really quiet whisper.

For now, I have all files on it because it's the summer, so no school, does not project. The only thing I fear is the laptop itself and my collection of things stored in the HARD drive that took me years to collect.

I ask here because, even if it is under warranty, I'm sure the store will classify the damage under the "negligence of the customer" and they could charge me very expensive fees for repair (you know the Philippines, hehe)

    Hello TheEarthBender,

  • I need to replace the hard drive of my Acer Aspire all-in-one 5600U?

I have an Acer Aspire all-in-one 5600U. The other day the power in our House went out due to a storm. After she came back and went to use my computer, the screen was black and said "Reboot and select proper... boot device." ». I tried to download the tool of creation of media to a USB port and start the system using this. I can get into the menu troubleshooting but nothing works. When I try to make a custom Windows installation, it says "no signed device drivers were found". What is a hard drive problem? In the BIOS, under Boot Options is does not list a specific hard drive. It just says: 'hard drive '. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Appreciate the help, IronFly.
