  I have the device works now and here's what I did.

  WEAR AN ANTI STATIC BAND:

  Step 1) remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop

  Step 2) use spudger or credit GENTLY lift a gap between the keyboard and the base, then use the credit card to slide slowly into the space to jump open clips, NOT FORCE.

  Step 3) (OPTIONAL) remove the keyboard connectors by moving clip and gently remove the cable from the Jack. However the HARD drive slipped in for me without necessary to detach.

  Step 4) unplug original WD HDD blue reversing the clip and disconnect the cable

  Step 5) close laptop together and boot with Windows 10 USB install

  Step 6) install windows on new SSD (for me windows automatically activated via the BIOS/UEFI) if it doesn't happen for you, simply re-attatch the original HARD disk.

  Step 7) if the activation is successful, again set HARD drive and original format. I have kept all the original ACER RECOVERY and Partitions (Healthy) in case I need to restore factory default, but formatted primary partition.

  I found the resolution on a post about another Acer laptop model.  It is real simple but I had technical support at acer ready to elevate my status of support at level-2.

  1.) Control Panel > hardware and sound > mouse

  2.) on 'device settings' tab, click 'Settings' button

  3.) under 'Extra features', uncheck the option 'Zoom perfect.'

  What are the features were previously unavailable for the setting (for example two fingers to scroll, Pinch Zoom, etc.) are now available to be adjusted.

• Built in mic on acer aspire one does not

  The microphone on my acer aspire one netbook does not work.   It's a good thing I do not get out the my desktop's CMOS battery. Someone I know told me I 'Try to change the keyboard' Guess - it works now. The USB keyboard that I just bought does not work so I went back to the wireless keyboard that I used all the time. So now my problem is solved.
