Activate windows 8 after factory reset

Recently, I bought an SSD to speed up my computer. I used a program to extract the product code and backed up my files. Then did a factory reset on windows 8 and transferred all the data of my SSD, when windows asks for the code I entered in the code that I extracted with the program, which did not work, because, I think because I installed windows media Center on my PC. I bought windows 8 with the 'Windows anytime upgrade offer' a year ago, I previously ran windows 7 Professional, now win 8 pro. the code given with my PC did not work as well. activation of the phone did not work too well, so what to do next?

  • Is no longer able to install windows updates after factory reset (windows service exception / failure set up the updates of windows roll back)

So suddenly, I wanted to start my 3 month old laptop, but found that it was getting a system service exception.

After hours of troubleshooting, I decided to go with a clean installed, this has completely fine until I installed the updates of windows (I have to install these updates to return Windows 8.1)

After you install all the following updates occurs after a reboot:

-Default configuration of the windows updates, roll back later, I get a system service exception.

    - Or directly a system service exception.

These problems are solveable by a system restore to a point that has no updates.

The next thing I could try is install the updates of windows 1 by 1 to see the update is causing this particular problem.

If anyone has a way to solve this problem please help.

Yes, you should be able to reinstall, but if you can you should disable before resetting the machine.  Otherwise, if the two license activations were used and no reset you will need to contact Adobe Support by chat and ask them to reset your activations.

  • HP ENVY m6-1125dx: Beats Audio In/Out-put pilot missing AFTER Factory Reset/OfficeProgram reinstalling Windows

    Hello

So about three months ago I had a problem with my HP mouse and browser. both were glitching on screen and does not allow me to type consistently or right-click (to copy, paste, etc.). After seeking help from technology College friends, HP reps (which were not useful since my ch isn't under warranty anymore) and work friends, no one would understand it. I decided to make a setting reset according to which did not help. Then, a factory reset. Finally, it fixed my problem, yay no glitching more! So I contacted Microsoft to reinstall my Microsoft Office. After I have reset a computer and everything was in order, I hung up with them. By attempting to play a video a few moments later, I noticed that my volume is not working. I tried through the Troubleshooting Device Manager (replied 'No audio device found'), by lifting missing audio drivers via the HP Web site (found nothing) and call Microsoft to see what they could do since HP reps no help. So far, no progress is possible except that Microsoft has discovered that he is no longer an audio in/out located on my device. This is absurd! My laptop was purchased 2 years ago for around $500 with award-winning special Beats Audio Sound System. I want to come back. I was forced to resolve the previous question myself and I wa slucky enough to find a way. But now, I am presented with an audio problem I'm afraid that I can't solve in my favor.

If someone who comes through my investigation has informed business and education with a solution to the please my problem do not hesitate to contact me with your advice and your credentials. I'm willing to try anything at this point, but of course not at the expense of my computer. Experienced responses welcome!

I hope someone can help me. Manager Microsoft is kind enough and plans to call me again today at 15:00. But, I really don't think there is anything else on our end that we can do. It's all HP to reinstall the audio driver Beats for me once again.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Pavilion DV6 - Freaky blockages, probs even after factory reset

I have a machine that currently gives me fits customers...

It's a Pavillion DV6, specifically a M6-1045dx.  He got 8G of RAM and the HARD drive is full of barely 10%.  When I got the machine, he would refuse to run some executable files (most had IE) and anything requiring a UAC elevation cause the application is high (command prompt, Task Manager, etc.) to lock.  Scanned with MS Sec Essentials and spybot... even out the hard drive and scanned with AVG in another PC of office... None of them can find nothing.  I noticed that after I let it sit for a while (30-45 minutes), it gives an error and say a few words about support assistant having to close.  I tried to close all the HP services, but nothing helped.  CHKDSK /F does not give any errors, and the BIOS HP diags gave a certificate of good health.  I couldn't "show processes from all users" in the Task Manager (Task Manager would freeze whenever I tried).  In addition, the system seems to work fine in SafeMode w/network.

I finally lifted my hands and did a reset (Note: I don't have the minimal reset).  Who took most of the night running.  Then, I made a full round of microsoft updates.  Note that the system was very well throughout the reconstruction process.  Then I restored the owners (1 piece of court reporter software) applications and some data (especially text files and audio files of deposits).  The system ran fine for another 5 boots - two hours.   The last thing I did was to install MS Security Essentials... and he gave me a certificate of good health after update.   I closed the thing and and let stand until the customer arrived there.   The minute that I pulled up, he began to show the same signs as before the factory reset.

Support Assistant does not start... it's welcome screen just sitting there.  Internet Exlporer will start or the other.  If put in place processes in the Task Manager and click on 'view of the processes for all users', the Task Manager is locked in.  Command prompt oneself too if you do a "run as Administrator".   The owner tells me that if you let the machine sitting (when running) for 30-45 minutes, which will be suddenly started working.   Since then, I tried Kaspersky TDSSKiller to see if it was a rootkit, but he did not find anything there either.

Anyone encountered this before?  Is there something that I need to update, re - install or uninstall?

    Thank you!

    Mike

If anyone knows this, it seems that it is a Microsoft Update that threw a wrench in the works.  After a 3rd plant, he went through a whole series of updates, then failed on the last series of 8 or more.   I did a system restore and looked at the 3 updates... do a search on all of their numbers.  Of course, there are a ton of develops griping on KB2870699, alias, "Cumulative security for Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 X 64 systems based on.   Delete this update, or run system restore and it réécrirait where it was before you ran it.  I hope this helps some other poor soul avoid the epic hassle he put me in...

  • Can I activate windows 7 after re-installation

I have converted the disk from basic to dynamic disk, to make more partitions. But now, because of some problems, the computer began trolling. So, I tried factory restore windows using the "recovery Partition". But it does not work. After some research, I found that the recovery partitions lose their functionality if the volume is converted to dynamic. But then I thought of converting the dynamic disk to basic disk so that the recovery partition would start working again, but the problem with this is, I have to remove all the volumes of the partition on the disk (which also includes the recovery partition) before that I can convert it to a basic disk.

I did the system recovery disk, but the optical drive on my laptop has stopped working, perhaps because I've never used.

So, if I install windows using another Installer (downloaded form Internet and made a bootable USB key), it will be possible for me to activate windows by using the product key on the back of my laptop. ?

    Laptop model: Sony Vaio SVE15118FNB

    OS: windows 7 Home premium x 64

Well it seems that you can not delete the recovery partition. I deleted the other partitions and converted the rear disk Basic. The factory restore then connected the recovery partition, and it worked... !! Thanks to all those who have taken to find a solution to this problem.
