Activation of Vista Home Basic, home product purchase for use key.

I was not on my toes with it. Used to be with a single MS OS 3 uses now. I gave it to my friend and now I need a new product key.  I did some research and that you still can't find resources online to get this product key replaced.  We were roommates and I was mistaken in believing that I could use the OS more than once.  How to buy a new product key?

Hey MyLady2k

He was and is a system of licensing of windows = one installation of windows operating

one license = one facility

You can be confusing with office of certificates according to the type of license of office that was purchased

Microsoft sells more vista

You can try amazon.com or ebay, etc.

or try your local computer store where there are still copies

  • The disk (with no key) installed Vista Home Premium, and the license key OEM is for... Home Basic!

    I recently did a clean install with the disc that came with my Dell XPS6400 (bought in the auction) local computer, which had only "Vista 32bits" written on it and no product key.  I thought I could use the key on the sticker on the underside of the computer OEM license, even if the 2 characters in the 3rd section were partially missing - they had to be one of the other four.  When OEM license was initially considered valid, I realized that I had not yet downloaded a service pack, but after that, he was still to come as being invalid!  Then, I found that the version of Vista that was on the disc was "Home Premium" and the OEM for "Home Basic" license key  Do I have to reinstall the whole system, drivers, etc., in order to establish the upgrade?  (Please say "NO", there is an easier way to do this!    Here's the MGADiag. -I hope it helps.  :-}

To reinstall Vista Home Basic read this information.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought, not that one 32-bit, vista, your computer must be on the hard drive to reinstall recovery Partition Vista to how you bought your computer, which may or may not work after the installation of the wrong edition.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

  • activation of vista home, service Pack2 problems

A couple of months, I had a problem with my PC crashing when I was with my music player or media. After contacting windows answers finally got help and the problem has been corrected (or seemed to be) after receiving instructions to do a clean reinstall of my vista home package, service pack 2. After a week or two, it started crashing again. Being a nice guy, I thought only not to harm microsoft again and reinstalled my OS again. After trying to activate vista online, microsoft now tell me I can't do a clean install, because it is an upgrade package. They have now closed some operations. I was happy with my vista home for 4 years and that you don't want to upgrade again immediately that there is another windows OS on the horizon. What can I please?

  • Re-activation of Vista Home premium

Hi, I uninstalled an activated copy of Home premium, I installed on my netbook (big mistake) I want now to use this license for my office refurbished, but it will not activate

If your computer is pre-installed with Vista or an OEM disk/license you bought yourself, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.

  • Vista Home Premium hangs for internet browsing

My Toshiba Satellite falls down while browsing using Internet Explorer 7, 8 and Firefox 3.5 and 3.6. The screen turns black with sometimes a blue bar downstairs, then restarts in 10 seconds approximately. At other times the pixels all scramble and the laptop freezes cause me to hard reboot. Toshiba had wipe me and reload the operating system and other software several times, and now say it is not the laptop, but the operating system.

I tried disabling modules, returning on the older versions of web browsers, as well as to remove and reinstall them altogether. After losing today, the laptop has spent about an hour trying to solve the problem, said he could not and stop. Power on it again later enabled him to start correctly. I dump files and crashed, but Toshiba didn't want them and said to get it from Microsoft.

    Help, please.

original title: Vista Home Premium hangs while browsing with Internet Explorer or Firefox

I'm sorry, but not surprised to say that, in my view, that Toshiba is to give you the runaround. From your description, I would say it's a hardware problem, not a software problem. You have already restored to the State of the factory several times and the computer should work without problems after a factory restore. If the computer is still under warranty, insist that they take it back and replace hardware components. Your network card is the prime suspect, and since it is in any case on the motherboard, the motherboard should be replaced in this case.

I want to emphasize that you should not take what I wrote as a definitive diagnosis. I can't see or test your computer from here. I give you my opinion on your computer based on my experience as a computer tech and what you have written. If the computer is no longer under warranty, take it to a local professional reputation (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) for diagnosis.

I changed my HDD may because old hard drive has been courupted he did reverse what it self and ask me to change the hard drive now, I changed the hard drive. It's been more than a year I m using windows vista, but suddenly microsoft request the activation of the product... I did several times but nothing happens again n it asks again for the activation of the product and when I give the activation code it tells me that it is in respect of the use. now, the deadline has passed n my computer restarts with the same product activation window I entered the key, but displays the error code. I also noticed that my computer restarts every one to two hours. I'm very confused m help please thanks...

You have to manually enable.  This issue of reactivation occurs from time to time (in fact rarely) but there is nothing to worry.

To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

I can connect an iPhone but am unable to allow a guest or a second iPhone to the visionaries. Once I'm Setup on an iPhone, the second iPhone will not see the hub of HUE with their application to the home page. When I send an invitation for comments and they accept, they see my Home Setup, I created, but they get an error message saying ' accessories does not.

The problem comes when you try to grant the second iPhone controls. I even tried to remove the TINT Apps to ensure that they do not interfere in some way. Both devices are able to use the application of COLOUR very well to control the lights, but we would like both the convience to control the lights of HUE with iPhone Control Center.

Someone at - it stories of success with the connection of multiple devices using the Hub of HUE and Apple Home App for iOS 10 release?

Both devices are iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10. I have an iPad Pro available, but it is not setup for iOS 10 again or used for lighting control. The Hub of HUE is the latest model of square.

    Thank you!

I have exactly the same problem.  My iPhone 6 s + works fine.  My children and wife iPads, iPods and phones running iOS10 are not.  They can see the app home screen and all the features of the installation.  But each device says "no response" and at the top of the page its says "no responding accessories".

In addition, they can all use the app of Hue and set the lights very well.  However, not with Siri, but that's another question.  Once again my siri controls function very well.

My guess is it's a bug.
