  I bought Windows Vista Ultimate OEM (32-bit) Software a few years when I built my PC (from Newegg.com). I have format my computer every year and reinstall windows using this DVD. I formatted and reinstalled windows over the years and have no issues. I just formatted and reinstalled windows yesterday and I'm now receive a message saying my product key code is already in use. Could this be caused by me in shape and for some reason it now visualize myself as another computer, try to use the same product key code? Would be another re - format and new installation fix the problem or is there another solution?

  I must have typoed my question in the search box the first time because I could not find any solution to my question above but I tried again and I found the solution.

  To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

  I was able to use the automated system and it worked :) Problem solved.

  3. copied the plugin files into the appropriate directories.
  4. Modify the httpd.conf (see below)

  At the present time, I try to start the Apache HTTP server and runs in an unexpected error.

  WHY APACHE ATTEMPTS TO LISTEN ON PORT 80. ?  I've SPECIFIED the PORT 8888

  I recommend you to connect the modem to another computer that is running Windows Vista and check if it detects there. If it does not work on another computer also, then the problem is with the modem and I would ask you to contact the manufacturer of the modem for any further assistance.

  You can also try the following methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:
  To resolve this problem, remove the modem, and then restart the computer. When the computer restarts, Windows detects the modem and attempts to install the driver appropriate for that. To do this, follow these steps:
  a. log in the computer as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
  b. click Start and then click Control Panel.
  c. double-click phone and Modem Options.
  d. click the Modems tab.
  e. in the following modems are installed list, click the modem that you want to delete and then click Delete .

  g. restart the computer.
  h. the found new hardware wizard starts. Follow the instructions in the wizard to reinstall the modem.

  I have the same problem, and I think that MS is absolutely unjust:

  1. I have legal copy for about 2.5 years and had no problem with activation. MS changed something in MY SYSTEM VALID without telling me! If not how could having windows change my behavior?

  2. now I have to prove that my copy is legal - also I can't prove it, because I'm registered anno, so the key "is in use" - of course, it is! by me. (I am "punished" because I wanted to act according to the needs.)

  The product key is used because 'you' use it. In other words it has already been activated once and the number of product key appears on the activation of Microsoft database. This isn't a problem, instead of activate over the internet, a simple call to the activation of Microsoft, line will solve the problem.   I bought Windows Vista Home Basic in April 2008. Order number: 1000831652. I have the electronic invoice and original original DVD. I had also activated my product then. Later, I installed SP1 and SP2, and regular updates.
