Adapter USB assigned, but not "seen" by comments

Given: on a victory - 8.1 -64-bit host, I have attached the old hard drives with a usb-to-ata adapter (manufacturer LogiLink).

Problem: When I attribute the adapter usb to victory - 8.1 -64 comments, connected disks disappear on the host, but do not appear on the guest computer. In the guest Device Manager, the usb device is not yet listed. For comparison: the same usb device can be successfully assigned to a guest Windows - 8.1 - 32 bit or any other comments of 32 bits.

What may be missing in the prompt 64 bit concerned?

LogiLink USB to the ATI/ATAPI bridge is not recognized by a system up and running, but it's starting.

    Hello

We use App volume 2.9 with two vCenters.

Currently, there are two available AppStacks.

Assign an AppStack to the VMS in vCenter works like a charm, Volume 1 is attributed to a joint.

Assign the same AppStack to a virtual machine that resides on the second vCenter that will be assigned, but not attached, the error message is:

"Rejected all 1 volumes because they are invalid or have no file accessible volume."

AppVolumes Agent 2.9 is installed and shows as connected.

Represent the two vCenters is [email protected] with full administrator rights.

If you use two vCenters, you must make sure that you select data warehouses in the two vCenters. In this case, you probably have the location configured by default, but you also have to do an import by selecting the same shared on the other vCenter data store. If you look at the locations under a specific appstack, it should list on the vCenter (s) with what storage they use. If it's that nothing revealed to vCenter2, you will need to do an import from a data store available on the vCenter. Maybe it's the same exact data store you use on vCenter1, but it must be imported under vCenter2.

I hope that makes sense. Essentially because the AppVolumes sends the vCenter controls, there is no way to AppVolumes send a command to vCenter2 for storage that exists on vCenter1, so you see the following line:

    KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 installed, but not "seen" by Windows Update

Today (Tuesday 22 may 2012), after seeing the yellow icon in the taskbar, I ran Windows Update and KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 successfully installed, I turned off the PC by clicking on the red icon Turn Off with a shield icon, expected for all 3 updates to install, 4-color and for the PC to stop itself. It took a while, but everything went well. No error message.

After turning on the PC, I went back to Windows Update and was surprised to see Windows Update suggests to install... KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 which is the same three components I have installed successfully.

I ran Microsoft Fix It that 1 issue (update of Windows components needs to be repaired (next line) repair of components Windows Update.) I clicked Next. Everything went well. I had a green check mark 'Fixed '.  I turned off the PC (without having to install 3 updates which I have already installed).

I turned on the PC and went to Windows Update, asking me to install KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073. It's like Windows Update does not "see" that these 3 elements have already been installed.

Note: I have the same problem on another PC. The two PC XP SP3 and are stand-alone PC. One is a desktop computer. The other laptop.

  • Charger C - USB plug-and - adapter USB - C will not fully inserted

We can insert is more completely the plug of charger USB - C OR USB - C adapter (USB - C, USB - A and HDMI).  They stopped short about 1-1, 5 mm.  Food is always delivered, but a very small movement can cause the power disconnected, even if most is still mainly in.  Data connections may be lost in the same way with potentially catastrophic effects.

Is this a warranty issue?  It's rather disturbing if USB - C plugs/Sockets can fail if relatively fast especially in this case it's an all-Apple above adapters line and computer.

Yes, usb ports a and c have a very known issue that no one is really writing.

Is waved from time to time, the connections inside stops working. Also, I tested the adapter, you speak of and it heats more than all of the time and some time. Sometimes if give you him just an hour or two break and then it goes back to normal. His strange indeed.

Also, I recommend the update to 10.11.3. There has been many corrections of bugs.

  • Pilot DAQmx 14.1 installed but not seen by USB-6221

    Hello

After a week of fighting to install driver DAQmx on my 2013 Labview (Win XP), I finally got with OR DAQmx 14.1.

All right, I can run my screws

But, when I connect my NI USB-6221 BNC-nothing happens.

I checked in MAX if she communicated, MAX sees the device but says that the device drivers are not installed.

Then I checked if there was other drivers for this device on the site Web of SNA apparently no, it runs with DAQmx.

    Someone have a solution?

    Thank you

The descriptions I see say that USB-6221 is a legacy device.  That probably means support for it in future versions of DAQmx were dropped.

    I found this http://sine.ni.com/psp/app/doc/p/id/psp-84/lang/en

It does not say definitely what versions of DAQmx take in charge the device, but this list seems to only go up to version 9.8.

  • NPIV enabled on the virtual machine, but not seen in the comments

    Hello

I have a 5.0 with an HBA qlogic esxi. I created a VM and rhel is installed.

Then I activated the npiv on this virtual machine and saw that it generated node WWN and port WWN.

However, when I logged in the comments, I am not able to see the names of ports in

    / sys/Class/scsi_host/Host {n} / device / fc_host:host {n} / port_name

Are there additional configuration on the side of the virtual machine to allow the WWNS within the guest?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Wmp54g driver installed, but not seen in the Device Manager

I'm fighting with reinstalling my drivers of network for more than three days already. (For the history, see http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/19269864/19470244.aspx#19470244)

It seems that I finally got the drivers Intel work - however, the WMP54G I had installed before the (I hope) works now driver Intel is not listed in Device Manager. There is no icon in the taskbar wireless connections, either. Another attempt to reinstall the drivers, however, abandoned the process with the comment that drivers would be installed. So, I think the pilot is, but does not at all.

So, how can I get rid of this driver and try to reinstall another?

    My spec:

    Dell Dimension 9200

Windows Vista Ultimate x 64 (don't tell me there is no x 64 drivers, please!)

Seems OK, as I said it.

Really, it seems that standard LinkSys drivers on the download Web site support not at all x 64 systems. According to the readme files, the driver has not been updated since 2004! This is unacceptable, I think that - as a decent redirect in this forum does not work.

Anyway, even if some really nice junior contributor on the forums seem to have written some x 64 drivers - himself, I actually did not know how to install without an .exe file. : Pei

Instead, I did some more googling and learned that the WMP54G v4.1 and v4.0 chips were produced by RaLink and that these guys really provide decent drivers! It is at this point that I remembered my software "Unknown devices" mentioning RaLink, too, RT2500 for v4.0 and RT2561 to v4.1. And well, turns out I have a v4.1 and that their driver is working like a charm. They also provide WLAN monitoring software that allows some additional adjustments. My suggestion: Cisco should outsource their service driver development, too.

I finally managed to get to wake up from its sleep by moving the mouse by activating 'allow this device to wake the computer from sleep mode' in the device (Win 7 64 bit) Manager, but it does nothing when the lid is closed, which is 99% of the time because I am using a monitor. I have to open the lid and use the power button.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get this working, or not at all?

It works fine on my other laptop Dell I bought at the same time (Inspiron 15). One is connected to a TV as a "Media Server", if the lid is also closed all the time, but he wakes up from his sleep when I move the mouse USB wireless.

    OK, it's now solved!

The A08 BIOS update allows this, BUT the strange thing is that sometimes the option ' USB wake sleep ' is not available after a BIOS flash.

This time, it was and now I can wake up the laptop from sleep, even with the mouse Wireless USB via a hub!

    Yay!

  • British English Dictionary download in Firefox, but not seen in Thunderbird

Also used "more dictionaries" in the spelling Thunderbird checkbox. There is no download the English Dictionary of Britsh selected - just got a "rotating icon" as if she was trying to download - but didn't upload. Several attempts.

Operating system: Linux Mint 17 cinnamon.

Sourjobraato Banerjee, please read the question again once your answer is not close to what the question was of about.

Just right click and save to disk, then in Thunderbird, you can open file TB in the Addons Manager or I think even make drag and drop on the TB window to install it.

  • C6380 - computer laptop xp prints with connection by usb cable but not wireless

    Hello

I have a c6380, which is about two weeks old. Setup worked fine when I put it on the wireless network and everything is ok.

I installed the software on a vista pc which is connected by cable to my router from sky. This shows very well.

I installed the software on a computer vista laptop that is wireless and prints well.

I also have a computer laptop xp. It is also wireless. The software installed without problem. See the printer etc. However, when I try and print, the printer makes noise and pulls the paper, then the screen says it's printing and then nothing happens. The printer stays like that and eventually the laptop shows a failure to print the message. The document remains in the print queue before deletion, and I have to press Cancel on the printer. If I plug the printer with a usb cable for this laptopit prints without problem.

I ping the printer wireless froom the laptop xp and access the admin screen. It also shows as a network drive in my computer.

I uninstalled the software that came with the printer, downloaded the hp software to ensure that it is up-to-date and re installed.

I put the printer with a static ip address.

I restarted the router as well.

The router uses a channel 11 broadcast key, wpa - psk and is set to g & b modes.

Now, it's really really frustrating because the computer laptop xp my wife, is the main reason why we bought a wirelsss printer because she is a teacher and done loads of printing.

I'm pretty good with pc / networks etc but have now run out of ideas.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Steve

    Hello

I've actually solved myself, but I'll keep this post here anyway.

The answer has been upgraded from SP2 to SP3.

Probably should have thought about that a little bit earlier!

  • animation Flash in Director heard but not seen... especially not seen!

Using flash I made a flash animation to use as an intro to my project manager, I imported the flash animation Director and placed on the stage. When I play the director file I can hear the sound of the flash animation but can not see the flash animation, until near the end, that I have a picture on a motion tween in the flash animation that I can see.

Can someone tell me why I can't see the rest of the flash animation?

    Hi Ajrobson,

I guess you are using Flash 8 and that you have not successfully steering updated for Flash 8
    compatibility.

    Reach:
    http://www.Adobe.com/support/Director/downloads.html
Make sure that you have downloaded and installed the 10.1 update. Then install the 10.1.1
Update. This will update your Flash media.

  • Lightroom 5 import question - created but not seen image files

I recently imported images of several cards in LR 5 and had imported them into folders by date and whenever I imported, I saw the pictures.  When we recently connected the drive I saw dated records but there is no images in these files.  They are lost forever, or they are hidden somewhere?  When you look at the drive through the viewfinder, it shows the folders are empty...

    TIA!

    Hi colleenzam,

Please try and get these images in Lightroom topic of all photographs.

Images should be copied in different folder, but it should it in Lightroom.

    Kind regards

  • scopes lun ISCSI but not seen space

HI, I've extended my iscsi lun and made a new analysis on the iscsi initiator, who saw the disc jumps from 300 GB to 400 GB but real space reported by VirtualCenter is still 300 GB

If I go into the properties for the lun/store data I can see the option "Add the measure", but when I start to go through the wizard it tells me that the file system and all data will be lost, I thought you could add a scope without him messing up the origional vmfs file system and all virtual machines on it?

    Anyone?

    Thank you

You need to add as a measure - made warning refers to the space you ar eadding - check out this thread - http://communities.vmware.com/message/1130026#1130026

  • Why USB-6501 does not install on Win7?

We are in a process of migration of the old XP machine test system to the new system of Win7. All but got properly installed USB-6501. After you install LabView / DAQmx and connection USB-6501 windows could not find the drivers for this device (poster the exclamation sign on the icon of the device in devices and printers). MAX 4.7.4 detects either of the device. I looked for similar scenarios on the Forum OR and abroad and tried the solutions proposed. Nothing worked for me. I know the issue isn't with the USB-6501 material because it is functional on the old system. 4.7.4 MAXLE Win7 system detects a very well (GPIB-USB-HS) different USB device, but not for USB-6501.

I hope someone can help us identify the problem that we have struggled with for some time. Here are the differences between shipments of software on two systems:

    Old system:

    OS - XP SP3

    LabView - 7.0

    DAQmx - 8.0

    VISA - 4.4.1

MAX - 4.5 (detects the GPIB-USB-HS and USB-6501.) Status on 6501 LIGHT flashes continuously)

    New system:

    OS - Win 7 Enterprise

    LabView - 7.0

    DAQmx - 9.2.2

    VISA - 5.0.3

MAX - 4.7.4 (detects only GPIB-USB-HS. Status on 6501 LIGHT flashes 3 times and then road)

    Germano,

The device has been appear in Manager devices, but with the yellow exclamation mark for no drivers found/expenses. Update drivers on the property page does not help.

So yesterday I spent most of the day removing all facilities OR according to the instructions, I found in this forum. Then I reinstalled the software OR in the order following, restarting after each installed:

    (1) LabView 7.0

    (2) DAQ 8.0.1

    (3) NEITHER-488. 2 (v2.30)

    (4) connected USB-6501 first. The installation of the device has gone well and is now detected to the MAX!

    (5) connected GPIB-USB-HS. Scanned for changes on the hardware, peripheral GPIB presents itself to the MAX, but with a weird name announcement its INF file on his behalf. See the screenshots below:

    GPIB device incorrectly installed:

    GPIB device properly installed:

The strange thing is that this GPIB device was fully functional on my previous installation (see attachment max_report_3-23 - 11.pdf), now reinstall after its unusable (see attached max_report_3-24 - 11.pdf). Looking for GPIB instruments to help Max returns no result, but if I reconnect GPIB-USB-HS to the old system of PC all instruments are detected (for instrument scan error message see attached MAX after reinstall.jpg).

That my new problem is not related to USB-6501, maybe I should open a new forum thread.
