Addition of lens in PowerShot SX530

Is it possible to use the lens on the camera addon? If I have to buy one with the right thread size (67mm), which would be the question if I buy one of these macro/wide angle lenses that I see online?

Hi, well it seems that you can get the FA DC67A filter adapter and then you will have a threaded 67 mm adapter that is made for the filters that Canon offers. Other lens accessories does not enter this size 67mm, those proposed by Canon. There may be other options for a converter TV, Macro or Wide angle lens from 67 mm to be had elsewhere.

I have the those manufactured by Canon for my other cameras with an adapter 58mm and they work great, very good quality.

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, I'll put up a photobooth, but there is no wifi connection so I guess that the phone will not work. Alternatives?

How do you get the images of the camera?   And then print stuff under a paper copy?

I think that the SX530 is not suitable for this type of application.  I don't think that you need a camera with 50 x zoom in a photo booth.  What you need is a camera [with a wide angle lens] allows you to do a tethered shooting, via the USB port connected to a small computer.

Yes, it looks like one of my chipmonks lol

You can see how it performs your depth of field considerably long distances. Youshouln can't still need in most cases with this power zoom. You might need a tripod unless your super stable.

It is a generic TV converter I don't see any listed for your model, I have the similar to your SX50HS. I use adapters to mount a 2 X tele-converter that Ive had for a former model Powershot to mine, but only on close shots with zoom, very little.

    I found with 50 X zoom that I don't need.

  • Length of the Canon PowerShot g15 58mm adapter

    Hello

I recently bought a bunch of lenses for my Powershot G15.  The main requirement was the gun adapter to fit on the existing, no removable lens.

The barrel fits the width, and the additional lenses are brilliant.  However, when I extend the zoom on the powershot, the existing goal hit the cannon, imposes an error and the camera stops.

I had a quick glance for the longer barrels adapter, but it only seems to be available to 58mm.

    My questions are:

    (1) I'm not supposed to zoom when using adapter lenses?

    (2) is there anywhere to buy a longer barrel adapter?

    (3) is there a trick I'm missing?

    (4) do I just totally wasted my money on this camera and this lens pack?

Sorry if this has been answered before but I've never used a forum... bit confused.

    Thank you

    Gemma

The lens should never hit your lenses added! Do not continue or you will ruin your camera.

Have you bought brand gun or a brand of alternative?

What attachments lens are you using? They exceed to below the top of the lens adapter?

The correct part number is THE DC58L and Canon says.

The lens of Conversion of THE DC58L adapter is only compatible with the TC-DC58E, the MP-14EX Macro Ring Lite tele-converter and the Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX. With older lenses of conversion is not recommended.

  • Fixed aperture on ILÇE-3000 lens

I bought a lens mirror 500mm fixed aperture for my alpha 3000. Additional instructions to the dealer supposed to set the camera on the aperture priority, but that doesn't work and makes no sense if the opening is fixed.

Will be priority work on a combination of lens/a3000 fixed aperture shutter?

Thanks for your thoughts and help.

I don't know why the instruction that came with your goal is use the setting on the aperture priority. Try setting the camera to shutter priority or manual exposure, so you can adjust the shutter speed.

  • Need advice on the protection filter and lens hood

I'm looking into buying a UV filter to protect my 18-135mm IS USM lens. Is the B + W 67mm UV Haze MRC 010 M filter a good filter to use if I want to keep the filter on all the time? A standard lens cap would be in addition to that?

The lens hood Canon EW - 73 is a good visor to use on top of the 18-135 mm Canon lens

B + W filters are excellent but expensive.

More in this forum would probably have a filter of protection needs, particularly if you use a lens hood. I think I fall into this category, although I tried once to nibble while covering an event that was a table buffet and stuck the tip of my goal in a dish of cream sure dip.

There is no such thing as a cap gun good or bad for one of their lenses, just a good or bad. Always use the one they recommend, or it may interfere with the field of vision. Lens hoods are generally very tolerances in this regard. If you are using a 3 rd-party hood, be sure that it is an exact replacement for the condom correct Canon.

  • Can someone help me with two questions regarding my PowerShot SX540HS?

I'm generally pretty tech savy, but I'm having problems with two very basic functions on my PowerShot SX540HS.  I downloaded the complete operating manual and followed the instructions to the two questions, but I am unable to answer these questions after a lot of testing with the camera settings.

    1. is it possible to force the flash to the position, but keep any AUTO value? (I need an additional light on the African-American faces when shooting outdoors).  The manual States that there should be a setting IT for flash, but all I see is auto flash or disabled.  I don't see a setting IT allows me to force the flash fires.

    2. I need help with how to set up the camera to focus on how to features of landscapes in the background (such as a mountain range) instead of focus on something more about that appears in the frame, perhaps some leaves from a nearby tree.  When I tried testing the manual focus by following the instructions in the manual and set the focus to infinity, ISO camera settings went haywire and I got a completely overexposed photo.

I'd appreciate any help.  I thank you very much.

    Your welcome!

The brightness problem is your camera set to have the i-contrast on Auto? If this is not the case, try this to fix the bightness of images that you have taken or will take.

You can of course put the ISO and shutter speed manually too in P mode for pictures where I contrast does not work well for you.

P mode is basically the Auto mode, but it allows you to make changes where you want.

  • PowerShot camera repair: battery? warranty?

I send you my PowerShot Camera for repair of the lens. Do I need to include the battery when I post? I checked different sites. They say send it, another said not.

Also, when I ordered the device from Amazon, they have included a limited warranty from Canon, but it was white, except for the model number and the camera body. There is a part called, "Merchant Record purchase Canon." I need to fill and send it as well? Or is Amazon received enough?

    Thanks for any help

    Christypeace,

When you send your unit, please send only the camera body.  There is no need to include an accessory, including battery, unless you suspect it plays a role in the issue.

If you include the battery or any other accessory, please take note of the "Accessories" on the documentation you provide.  Please keep a copy of the documentation for your records, too.

There is no need to send the "Record Dealer of purchase", but please include a copy of your receipt from Amazon.

    Canon PowerShot SX60HS

Pls. Note camera picked up only 4 months of JAPAN. I have reset all settings by default and clicked to new same distorted image. Pls help

    Hello

Here's a few types of lens distortion.

First of all, you have a slight distortion with close objects of shooting wide angle.

Lenses wide angle make things close to the lens seems strangely great. You never want to do a portrait closeup zoomed out to a wide angle; always take a step back a little and then zoom in to frame the shot. The wide angle shot close up would give a big nose and a large forehead your subject on a small body. In your case the Lady on the left is closer to the camera
Everyone so she seems so enlarged.

Secondly, you have pad edge distortion.
It's just a common defect with a cheaper camera and lenses
As A Powershot will suffer more than a more expensive configuration of the camera. Just avoid the problem by not putting people completely on the edges of the photo. Leave an empty space.

  • focus screens... split lens horizontal or double diagonal... recommendations?

What is the best... (tips are another fire at the crossroads). I want to get a split focus screen lens for my Canon 600 d/T3i.

I photograph wildlife subjects and arcitecural.

I'm debating on which is probably my best Bet... the split single horozontal or twice divided diagonally...?

If you are not sure, buy not either. They are mainly designed for the manual focus. If you almost always use the autofocus, then don't bother. In addition, if you use manual focus on tripod only, you can use zoom 10 x Liveview in precision, no need of frosted glass custom. In addition, if you're not careful, you can introduce a lot of dust on your sensor during the passage of frosted glass. Your messages, seem like you are trying to buy accessories now. Just make sure you buy only what you need and save $ for the better lens.

  • Better protection for Canon 200 with f2.0 lens

Hello guys! I have a Canon 200 f2 lens and I'm looking for a better protection of the front element in addition to the range hood. So far, I saw people recommending the lens of Don Zeck and LensCoat Hoodie Cap. Does anyone have any experience with one and 200 f2? Or are there better alternatives?

Also, would you recommend the LensCoat coverage for complete protection of the lens? Alternatives?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. Have a good!

    Karren

I recently bought a 300 f2.8 L IS used and it came with the Don Zeck lens cap & I learned since it is a very well respected Cape. On another forum, I belong to the Hoodies were also highly recommended & so were coats of lens & considering I bought the objective value, I bought both. On what style of lens coat ruled on the most difficult part for me but finally I went for the camo style. It protects the majority of the lens, but not all of it, but as someone who respects his material, but who uses it also as expected that I am satisfied with the additional protection for a dollar. A recommendation on the hood was to remove the drive which makes forward rigid IF you think that you would take your goal (& maybe with your camera) on the front of the lens hood. In this way there is no risk that it is not sitting on the floor.

  • Lens sizes / use / meaning

I currently have the lens EF-S 18-55mm and EF 75-300mm lens for my Canon Rebel T3i. I was graciously endowed with a 40mm lens for Christmas with the option to exchange it for another purpose. We'd like to think that the 40mm is covered by the 18-55mm lens, but I'm not completely sure how it works so any assistance with suggestions, meanings of size and/or what they do greatly would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Yes, the 18-55mm lens can capture the same field of view as the 40mm lens.  The difference is that the 40mm can do to a greater opening (allows more light in and allows a smaller depth of field for that look "background blur").  It will also produce images sharper than the 18-55.  How much sharper depends on how to use it.

Prime lenses (no zoom) are not for everyone.  You must use your feet instead of zoom in and out.  In addition, they (generally) don't have image stabilizer, which has your 18-55.  The compromise is that they can produce extremely sharp images and allow you to shoot in dim light situations.

I tend to like them, so maybe I'm not the best person to comment on.  But one of the main advantages of the lenses privileged is a very wide opening.  The 40mm "pancake" lens is actually not all that wide at f/2.8.  It's better than your zoom, but not as wide as something like the 50mm 1.8 "nifty fifty".  The main advantage of the pancake lens is just that it is very thin, for those who want a small lens.  Personally I would recommend the 50mm lens on the 40mm, because it has greater openness.  But I have never used the 40mm - there are many people who love him.

Be that as it may, I do not recommend trying a first goal.  As I said, they are not for everyone.  But you won't know until you try.  And what better way to try to donate.
