ADSL ROUTER

Hello

IM, Proliant for a CRM Server installation. 15 customers will be access to content on the web at the request of products. clients will not access the content at the same time.

My question is, I have a modem Huawei HG530 and I would like to replace it with a slightly more robust with 1 ADSL interface.

Router wich or SRP sill would you recommend me?

Hi Ricardo, the PRS model you need depends on your regional DSL. Depending on whether you have a schedule A, B, Mr., I would recommend that you check the comparison of the goods to determine which router, you will need for your region.

  • EA4500 + ADSL router: networking noob question

Then... I'm not sure of the right words to use, but this is the case I would appreciate the help. I tried to figure out how to survive myself, but I find it a little confusing - however, if you think I just need a networking 101 do not hesitate to send me to appropriate information sources (I've tried a few, as I say, but I have not yet found a place where my situation fits!).

Quick back story: I have a cheap TalkTalk ADSl router (D-Link 3680) where the Wireless does not properly in the House. So I just got a DSL EA4500 router for better strength/speed/compliance wireless - you'll just have to forgive me for not having an ADSL router, which I realize may have been a simpler solution!

First of all, I put the (D-Link of TalkTalk 3680) ADSL router in Bridge mode and got this and the EA4500 work together which was great as it goes. However, I would be hard...

I have a tower PC and wish to receive wired ethernet network. While I know in the set - up above I can run a cable from the 3680 to the EA4500 and then another cable to the PC because the PC is closer to the telephone (with the ADSL router) Jack, physically it seems wiser, if I take the PC of the 3680 ethernet connection (along with a second cable 3680 to EA4500 connection for the wireless). It may or may not be relevant that the 3680 is a Fast Ethernet output, as is the network PC card (i.e. are not Gigabit).

I don't know (a) whether the above configuration is possible and if yes, how, or (b) the question whether in terms of networking, it is best to cable to the EA4500 computer (even if this will create a longer path to the PC and the wiring more).

Meaning, and if yes maybe someone could give me also a term for what I'm doing?

    Help gratefully received! Garreth

3680 port LAN (bridge) => EA4500 Port WAN (router)-online PC peripherals and wireless

It's the best configuration and nothing should be connected to the 3680 other than the EA4500.

The physical location of the electronics is not important, unless you can not run cable or wireless signal is low.

    Hello

The easiest way is with a crossover cable - a special wire to connect the two systems.
You can get one at your local computer store - they are not expensive.

Also check with the site of the manufacturer of your router, because they will have in-depth details on how to
    set up the network.

  • PIX and ADSL router.

I have, in a site, a PIX 515 connected to a C827H (an ADSL router as PPPoE). This router provides access to the Net. In another site, I have another PIX (a 506) and another router C827H which gave access to the Net. Both sites have access to the net without problems. But when I have what it takes to establish a VPN (Ipsec) tunnel between the two sites, across the Net, I can t make the connection. The ADSL router has their public IP is negotiated with the provider. In my lab, I simulate this two connections put two PIX (a 520 and a 506) back to back with a crossover cable. I used the same configuration. The thing worked. But in my two sites that does not work. Why?

I see, in this case. I suggest that change you the name of the ACL defined in crypto card, try not to use the same ACL you used for nat0, it poses problems sometimes.

Try and see if it works for you.

  • Windows Vista Home Basic 'local only' access via ADSL router, broudband

    Hello

I've set up a new router broadband wireless ADSL to connect to my broadband PostOffice.com existing Standard.

The router is a Belkin F7D1401uk Surf N150 model.

It is facing up and running and I can use other machines to connect to the internet through it. A netbook running Windos XP SP3 and a mobile phone (Nokia X 6), but my laptop main running Windows Viast Home Basic SP2 (32 bit) do not have wireless internet access.

It is a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 laptop. If I connect to the new Belkin router using an ethernet cable, I can connect to the internet. But when I unplug the ethernet cable and turn on the WiFi I see a connection to the modem Belkin Wireless, but on an 'unidentified network' and with 'local access' only.

Here is a copy of what I get when I run "ipconfig/all" at the command prompt:

    Hello Ttard,

Thanks for your post.  One of the solutions, I saw about this problem is to go to your system manufacturer's Web site and download / install the latest driver for your computer wireless.

This thread is very long, but has some great troubleshooting in steps.

Please let us know if this information helps with your problem.

  • establish the GRE/IPSEC behind ADSL router

Hi all. This is my first post. I watch a lot to the internet so I can't find any help on this problem.

I would like to set up a VPN with ACCORD between 2 sites, but one of them is behind a router ADSL. This router redirects all external traffic to the external interface of the router.

The problem is that I don't know how to configure this router because only to see the crypto ipsec his you can see Start local crypto is 192.168.0.147

and the other router to assign this IP address to complete the second phase.

I hope that this has been explained clearly.

    Thank you very much experts!

The problem is so much simpler if your GRE and IPSec endpoint termination ends on the same interface without NAT.  However, things get a little tricky when you have NAT involved.  In this situation, the following the following configuration example:

  • ADSL router 1941W - get customers connected to internet wireless

Hello, hoping that someone can help me, I have 99% of the made config however do not know why wireless clients do not connect to the internet, its lack of im probably something very simple!

The access point has been implemented, wireless network is in place and ongoing execution, clients can connect, receive IP via DHCP addresses (10.0.16.20 - 30)

    and can ping Vlan 1 (10.0.16.254) and Gi0/0 (10.0.15.254).

The PPPoA DSL has also been implemented and is connected, the router can access the internet.

What I want is for wireless clients access to the internet, but also for wired clients (connected to a switch which connects Gi0/0. Cable customers receive IP via DHCP addresses (10.0.15.20 - 50), and these also need access to the internet.

The router configs and AP are attached, this is what im missing? Thank you.

    Add the VLAN 1 interface,

    IP nat inside

You did not remove "my TP Link my netbook router8901G". You may have removed the internet connection or the software of the router TPLink control from laptop installed programs.

You have two choices. Establish an internet connection for the netbook through the operating system, which you did a secret from us, or reinstall the software of the router TPLink. You can install the software configuration to go drive the router came with or the download from TPLink.

You can have meant a TD-W8901G ADSL router. TPLink does not manufacture a router TPLink 8901 G.

As another modem (zyxel) works already then I agree that the adsl line works. After you have updated the firmware, you did another reset on the gateway and reconfigure the settings? If not yet, first try another reset and reconfiguration. If it always connects after the reconfiguration, so I think it's a hardware problem.

  • Configuration of a router in my house to extend second internet (WRT54Gv7)

    Hello

I try to set up a second router in my house to provide the internet a couple of computers + wifi I have in the garage

A main router is ADSL router, which offers 4 ports LAN and WIFI (wifiA) and I have a cable from the router to the garage. This main router has the 192.168.1.1 address.

In the garage, I want to install a WRT54gv7 to extend internet at two computer and extend the reach of wifi. I want to use the router as a bridge, so all computers (those connected to the main router and connected to garageRouter are in the same network)

I see that the WRT54G is version 7, as this particular model, it cannot be installed an OpenWRT.

I can remember, I should then configure the router as:
    -LocalIP address: something like 192.168.1.102
-Server DHCP: disabled to allow th eDHCP the main router server takes place,

And this should be everything, isn't it?

But that does not work, once I connect the wire from the mainRouter to the garageRouter, not only I don't have internet access, but also I lose the avaliability to connect to the garageRouter

Should I set up as a choice to "Automatic DHCP Configuration"?
Then are available: 'Static IP', 'PPPoE', "OCDP", etc...

Note: I have the router form old firmaware v7.00.4 update v7.00.8 build 008, but it makes no difference

  • Client disconnection from the 887VA-W router WiFi

    Hello

The ssid is configured for WPA2 with AES and it is immaterial that the ssid is invited or not. The AP is configured to 3 SSIDs and disconnects it from happening on any ssid pc joins. The pc wireless adapter is a Qualcom Atheros AR956x with the latest driver available. The same problem occurs if I join the pc via wifi to a 877W router, but not if I connect to a wifi BT Hub2-wireless adsl router.

Each customer is different... so it must always make exceptions for the poorest customers there.  That's the problem with Apple devices in the network for years.  That's why always test you with an open first ssid to eliminate the problem of the customer, then you configure wpa2/aes psk with base put... little by little you add on until failure.  Everything simply because it works now, won't say when a new device to get on the network a year later, that your configuration will not change to support this device.

It's like the timer of the session on the WLC... many devices dislike the short session timer and being generally disabled and resolved for 24 hours corrects many questions.
