• RHServer 8 linking published help and subject to demand - Search ranking F1 does not

  I published my RoboHelp 7 WebHelp Pro project to the general folder. We have linked our application assistance, as we did before that we published in the RHServer 8. We do not use card to link to aid numbers. We use the html for the links path.

• Can not start up and the utility disk first aid failed

  I have an iMac 27 "retina 5K (end of 2015) El Capitan (10.11.2) and 10 Windows via Bootcamp.   This morning when I had finished work on the Windows of the machine side, I tried to start in El Capitan, but it failed silently and turned off the machine itself about the 2 minute point.  I tried new and same problem.  So I checked if I could go back to Windows and ran 10 Windows without problem.  Then I started in the Mac recovery partition to run disk utility and it revealed a considerable number of errors on the Macintosh partition such as:

  -Previous ID in a string of hard link is incorrect (ID =-1130612101)

  (it should be 3164355194 instead of 0)

  Several of the above errors appeared with different numbers

  -Volume bitmap minor meds of repair for orphans blocks

  -County of block free invalid volume

  -Volume header needs minor repairs

  -Lack of notice of thread (id =-1130634630)

  Several of the above errors appeared with different numbers

  Finally the process 'done' with the 'first aid process has failed.  If possible to backup the data on this volume.

  Then I started in an installed USB version of the El Capitan, and while it was successful, he launched a warning when he mounted the volume that I had the problem with: "OS X cannot repair the disk"Macintosh HD"" but I was able to copy the files from this volume and even run applications that have been stored on it.  Tried to run disk utility and first aid in vain as above.

  Hi newsgirl,.

  Somewhere at the top of the laptop keyboard is a key that says Num Lock (or Num Lk or something like that).  It can be accessed directly, or you may need to press a key to access (or some other keys).  In any case, you must click this to turn off the number lock because it is what causes the problem.  This key is usually used on laptops to create a section of a regular keyboard that can act as the normal keyboard calculator keypad (for those who need that, like accountants or persons who need to enter strings of numbers).  Once you turn it off, you will be fine as the keyboard returns to normal.

  Assuming that you * really * want to do this, you can buy a Toolbox to CREATE Express screws.  I personally use screw Express on as many times I use local variables (ie. not if I can help it).  I recommend that you consider polymorphic screws instead (search for polymorphic aid).  If you really want to go on the road Express, you'd better hurry, the Toolbox is only sold for another week.

Flipping through the Acrobat manual, it seems that I should just be able to use the tools > Pages > Bates numbering > remove and then a dialog box should appear allowing me to delete several files both the numbering, however, Bates instead, Bates numbering is simply deleted from the document I opened, forcing me to having to open each document individually and remove Bates numbering. How to remedy this, whether this project is on a strict timetable?

  If you have Acrobat Pro create a new Action (via Tools - Action Assistant) with the command delete numbering Bates and a Save command and then run on your files.
