  However, I guess that data write the problem could be related to the used USB flash memory key.
  Even if you have tested some different USB media, I guess that there are no other possibilities as to test another stick of memory.

  I think that for this old book you can get a service provider authorized Toshiba recovery disc.
  Contact and ask for it. It should take only a few minutes to get a response from a technician.

• LaserJet P1102w: Printer 'offline' since the upgrade to El Capitan on MacBook Air - using the USB cable connection to print

  Updated the MACBook Air to OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan.  In this process, my printer disappeared.  Apple support had to intervene to get the printer view and print - that was yesterday & took 1.5 hrs.  Today, I tried printing and get the error "offline."  I went through the steps of unplugging the printer and Router 2 x, but always 'offline' message.  Help please!

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I understand that you have some problems with your Mac OSX 10.11 for the Laserjet P1102w printer machine printing. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. On your Mac, click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
  2. Hold down the CTRL key and click the icon of your printer on the left.
  3. Click on reset printing system.
  4. Click on the button "+" in the lower left corner of the screen.
  5. Select your printer from the list.
  6. Click in the box next to and select your printer from the list.
  7. Click on Add.

  The first thing you need to do to activate the USB in Win95 is to determine which version of the operating system that you use. Please note that the original or the first version of Windows 95, including the update and the version has, is NOT capable of USB connectivity.   Very well.  I have a S-Mini Patriot 32 GB flash drive that does not recognize my HP Slimline 400-434 Windows 8.1. In my view, he acknowledged once and has refused to do since. My laptop (Windows 7 Toshiba) recognizes very well.

  Failed to insert the USB flash in the port. She has to insert slowly, so that the contacts are aligned.

  I found it trying to connect to it in my USB hub and noting that the witness red light was going on and outside that I inserted the USB key, flicker on as I inserted it there and then off once it is all the way in.

  Weird. But good. It works now.

  No one knows what are the USB devices that you use to test USB functionality.

• WNDR3700 using as a hub - USB access?

  I use my Netgear WNDR3700 as a point of access (or hub?) in my home network setup, and I would use the USB functionality as well.

  Through Qwest, I have a router C2100 Technicolor. They were pretty adamant that I had to use their router attached to their fiber optic modem. And I could not use my Netgear router. Sort of a confusing headache head/interaction with them. (Which has a USB port on which has been disabled...)

  My Netgear router is plugged into the router of Technicolor, and I do not use the WAN port. I had a few initial setup where I disabled DHCP server stuff in the Netgear configuration page.

  If the system has been working well, I just have multiple access points and the best coverage wireless in the House, and all devices are able to talk to each other.

  I have an external hard drive Seagate with its own power source, and I would like to connect to the Netgear device and be able to access the files. Is this possible?

  Is which port connected? You may want to trace which port is that it connected to the main router can use this IP address and include the name of sharing as 192.168.1.x\share_name

  If this does not work, you can still assign a static on the router IP address even if the DHCP is disabled.

  You can reset the router to get the DHCP at the time access it then use a static IP address that is in the same range of your first router in the LAN IP address Configuration. Once done, turn off the DHCP, connect the work cable and you should now be able to access using the IP address that you assigned. Furthermore, make sure that when you assign an IP address, it is not inconsistent with the first your router's DHCP range.

  I have a problem with my laptop that has regularly been do worse and I can handle is no longer!

  Whenever I work with external devices via USB ports (all kinds of devices but my external hard drive Smartdisk CrossFire and my iPod in particular), after a certain period of time (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours) the laptop loses connectivity with the device.

  If happens to be listening to the music, download photos from a camera or laptop computer for the ' net or sync of the iPod, the connection is cut off, turning off the device and I have to start all over again!

  I'm almost at the point of launch of the laptop by the window, so any help is most welcome.

  This occurs if the power adapter is plugged or only if the laptop running on battery?

  In-hubs properties > Device Manager USB root-> power management
  You will find the option called allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

  I would recommend the brand and disable this option.

  Maybe it helps.

  By the way; When do you update the operating system? I think that it s there long time, perhaps some system files or registry entries are corrupted or a 3rd party application affect the USB functionality?

  Hello.  I have a:

  HP Pavilion g4-1125dx Notebook PC

  Model #: LW342UA

  When it has been upgraded to windows 10 I lost all USB functionality.  The Device Manager uses a driver, but it does not work properly.  "Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller" and "Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller" have the yellow exclaimation points with the USB symbol next to them.  Under properties, it reads:

  Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

  {Unable to load device driver}
  HS device driver could not be loaded.
  Error status is 0 x %x

  When I try to roll back the driver nothing is available.  When I try to update, it says I already have the best driver.  I tried the windows update and Easy Driver software but no luck there.

  I confirmed that I do infact has power to make ports (USB fan :/) so I don't think that it is a hardware problem, especially since it worked before upgrade.)

  I know that its a laptop older, but I upgraded the CPU to a quad core Phenom II N970 and this 'thing' is running if good, I do not give up on it.  Ethernet and wireless are working properly and there is no other troubled hardware issue.

  I tried to go back to windows 7, but I've been spending the period from 30.  The laptop is not the recovery disks, or a partition to do.  For the heck of it I advanced and reinstalled windows 10.  Now the USB ports work correctly so I guess it was something that happened during the initial upgrade?  Anyway thanks for your help!

• HP Pavilion p7-1234: functional CD/DVD drive will not boot Clonezilla disk recognize

  Have three HP p7 in small desktop running Win 7 64 bit. (Avast free version)

  None of them will recognize a bootable Clonezilla ISO or Zip, whether on CD/DVD or USB.

  Measures already taken:

  BIOS set to boot from CD/DVD

  In turn the BIOS configured to boot from USB

  Have used any compatible version of Clonezilla downloads based on my operating system and the processor, including the generic i686 ISO and Zip. (and makes bootable USB drive)

  CD/DVD and USB function perfectly well otherwise. Able to access the other disks and USB media with no problems.

  Also able to see the Clonezilla ISO when I look at the CD/DVD drive.

  It starts simply what whether Clonezilla.

  If someone has encountered this, I would like to share your experience.

  One rookie mistake.

  Problem:

  Bad, I carved the Clonezilla ISO to CD/DVD disc.

  Solution:

  1. download the ISO Clonezilla appropriate for your computer, on your desktop.
  2. place the disc in the CD/DVD drive
  3. "right click" on the Clonezilla ISO on your desktop.
  4 Select "Burn Image" and follow the default values.

  Now you have a proper boot Clonezilla disk.

  Next:

  1. make sure the BIOS is set to CD/DVD is bootable.
  2. place Clonezilla disc in open the tray of the CD/DVD drive.
  3. restart the computer and close the CD/DVD tray
  4 put your finger on "F9" key and now wherever the blue HP screen appears, press "F9".
  5. boot Menu loads.
  6. move arrows down to the first line indented under "ATAPI CD/DVD DRIVE...
  SATA2 or SATA3 will be according to your system.
  7 hit ENTER.

  Clonezilla immediately, boots and loads.

  I am currently working on taking images in LabVIEW using a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 USB camera. I have attached the simple VI that I use. For some reason, LabVIEW is no longer able to take a picture of resolution 640 x 480 with this device. However, its capabilities are well beyond that. According to me, it can reach a resolution of image fixed of 1920 x 1080. How can I get LabVIEW to snap a picture at 1920 x 1080 with this device? I have attached a jpg of the VI.

  Brad,

  IMAQdx functions will not displayed either because you have not installed IMAQdx or they are not allowed. Both come on the setup of the Acquisition of the Vision, but are separate elements that can be enabled/disabled during installation. If you use the Vision Development Module, you should have a license to activate the IMAQdx as well. Check with the License Manager AND verify that it is authorized.

  You'll really like using IMAQdx much better than IMAQ USB functions. There are many more features supported and it is fully supported in all software OR, as measurement and Automation Explorer. You can configure your camera inside MAX settings and then save and use them in LabVIEW automatically.

• Maximize battery life flash by using the Scriptures of sector size file. USB and SD card storage limits Cap

  I use the sbRIO-9636 with 512 MB of non-volatile storage (Flash I presume?).  I'm not find the size of the sector in the Spec Docs, I found it, and Measurement & Automation Explorer does not display it no more, and I can't find one physical property of RT to make it.  I built a utility 'RIO leader Writer"for the text written to the buffer until the sector size is full or until the file is closed using the VI, but it would be useful to know the sector size.  For now, I'll assume 32 KB as I read the 9606 uses 16 k with its 256 MB drive.

  I have attached the utility (a single LV 2012 (VI) in case someone else would be useful.  I promise you there better performance or memory efficient, but its purpose was to save the Flash of my application, which supports the recording of data CAN (1000 + packets/sec) to the file, and it does that very well.  I continued to save the CAN data without it, with each written separately CAN package (~ 40 characters / record log, or ~ 820 written by sector of 32 KB), I probably would have started to lose areas in the next few weeks was not that of wear levelling - maybe even with wear leveling.  With that, life shouldn't be a problem (although the ability remains one, I can switch to USB storage if it is).

  Come to think of it, this can help with all the data being quickly to any player, as all readers use sectors (or blocks of sectors), assuming that you can sacrifice the RAM requirements to register your system hard disk (or to).

  Storage issues more:  What is the limit of the capacity of the SD and USB function storage on the sbRIO-9636 map?  The specification mentions support SDHC, but does not say specifically THAT SDXC is not supported.  It does support the monstrously huge SDXC cards or the max for SDHC (32 GB)?  In addition, with SD and USB storage, is size of block review?  LabVIEW has a property, I can read for all this that I don't see?

  I was wrong, we have a LabVIEW function that will find the size of area for a specific drive, it's the Get Volume Info.vi (link). You can run this VI and the flash drive on the sbRIO to find the minimum size of sector for reference entries.

  Regarding external drives to the USB port, I think you are right in your assumption about the limits of FAT16 and FAT32. Keep in mind there are also limits on file size of 2 GB or 3 GB of maximum file size.

  Most of the USB-to-IDE adapters works for the sbRIO (or cRIO), but USB-to-SATA is not supported to work on sbRIO. You can always try to use a SATA-USB HARD drive, but it might not work.

• Usb keys do not work on HP CM1415FNW

  I have a printer HP CM1415FNW. I need to scan and transfer of files on my usb key. In fact, the printer may read less than 8GB, over her keys cannot read.

  According to this Manual on the walk up to the USB function, the printer does not support USB flash drives, over 2 GB, so it's likely that the 8 GB working.  You could try to do an update of the firmware and see if that gets a job 16 GB, but more probably it won't help.  If you need help with the update of the firmware, I would like to know what operating system using the your and I'll connect you to the latest version.
