always hung in helmet modus

I dropped my phone in the water with the shutters closed and now I'm neither headphone speaker sound, that remains in mode so I can't listen to music only with headphones and when I get a call I can't hear anything please help.

Hello

I think that your local support team wanted to say is that the only solution to your problem is to have the phone looked at by a technician at an authorized service center. If the water is entered into the phone, some components may have been damaged. Unfortunately, it's nothing of what we in the support forum can conclude.

  • Can I associate/save album art to an iDevice not (e.g. USB stick)?

I recently bought a car that has this clever audio system that shows illustrations of album on the display while the song information.  This works well when an iDevice is plugged into the USB port on the car.  I downloaded a library of great music to a stubby thumb drive.  The songs play fine, but less than 10% of the songs are accompanied by the work on the car screen.  I realized that those who show the work is the songs I bought through iTunes.  The MP3s I have loaded my music iTunes not only display a note of music big fat.  I downloaded illustration using iTunes and so of the work with music on the iPad e.g. - it "s it.  It just does not display on the screen of the car.

I'd rather not have my iDevice always hung in the system because of the son and for other reasons.

Is it possible to load music on a USB key so that the work shows?  I tried to put some JPEGs of the cover of the album in the same folder as MP3 albums, and it does not work.  I don't think the work needs the Apple OS because there are a small number of songs (bought via iTunes) that appear the work when the USB key is used.

Could not load the library iTunes everything on the disc of thumb with the work, is there some secret file (not JPEG) that can be loaded with a folder (album) so that the work shows?

    Thank you.

First of all, if the songs are in .wav format, you cannot associate work with them

For other tracks, like MP3 or AAC (.m4a), the work is in the file itself, not in the folder.

Play one of these songs in iTunes and look at the first bar of current playback . The work appear? If it isn't, then you can add it to the file itself using the Get Info/artwork Panel and pasting the image in. Be aware that for some reason any iTunes for Windows displays currently the Paste command. You select the work Panel and then use CTRL + V to add.

  • DM4-3050us only plays sound sometimes...?

I had the dm4-3050us for almost 2 years now with virtually no problems, but lately he did something annoying - whenever I tried to load some audio (almost always using the helmet on the right side), there was a chance that the audio would not play. Usually to reloading the page or program would do the trick, but in the past few days, it is almost completely stopped working. I can't listen to audio online and usually have to restart begins five or six times before the sound of work programmes.

I have troubleshooted the audio on my computer and found nothing of technically wrong with it. Everything said my helmet is in, not on mute, and at a decent volume (and I know this is true because there are a few programs that I can hear, sometimes), and fully functional and even when I leave the speakers run it is the same case - of course, my sound should work fine.

Any help that anyone can provide would be much appreciated!

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56001-56500/sp56172.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver from the link below.

    Chipset Driver - Windows 7.

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if this contributed to the issue.

    Kind regards

  • question of ati2dvag on Satellite M70 - error blue screen

Hello im hoping someone can help me with these problems I have. Well one day to start up my computer I is no longer boot into normal mode and having to use safe mode, the computer changes the display on its own and goes down to 16 bit color, when I restart my computer suspended unless I have start in safe mode and then other times I get the black screen saying I choose SafeMode shape etc. When I load secure form mode it starts right away and then I restart to return to normal mode it hooked to black screen, but if I'm not in safe mode it takes forever to initialize. The blue screen that appears shows the following...

The device driver got stuck in an infinate loop. This usually indicates problems with the device itself or with the incorrect programming hardware device driver.
Please check with your hardware device vendor updates the driver.

I tried to uninstall display driver, no help. I even tried formatting HARD drive and reinstalled XP Home with recovery from recovery DVDs, worse yet, I can't even finish the recovery process, it is always hung when starting Windows, and then even a blue screen... More as soon as the load of windows xp, the screen has very low resolution with several vertical lines distributed evenly on the screen...

Unfortunately, I think that you have to return your laptop to the point of service.

    > The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop
To me, this looks like a corrupt graphics card.

I think there is not much to do and ask the help of the technician.

  • Can I make my iPhone 6s more sound when it is associated with a bluetooth headset?

    Hello

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I use a headset Bluetooth of Samsung Gear circle. When the Samsung Gear circle is paired, my ringtone is turned off on the iPhone. The problem is I'm not wearing the headphones all the time, they stay around my neck and the buds are magnetically joined together. When the phone rings and you separate them, he answers the phone. The problem is that I'm missing calls because apparently it sounds through the earbuds and not the phone. Is there a way to fix this?

The phone should ring inside even when connected to a headset. Mine is always, whatever the helmet (I hurt. Don't ask). I would try the headset is disconnected and re-match and see if that helps. Alternatively, you can try to restart the phone in with a long press on the House of power and power buttons until the Apple appear on the screen.

  • How to do a partial migration in Yosemite?

Hello, I used Migration Assistant to move all of my old iMac (running OS 10.8) to a new iMac Yosemite running. Unfortunately, the iPhoto Library would not convert to Photos on the new computer. Some people here suspect my iPhoto Library (in iPhoto 8) has had some problems and so I did a REBUILD. However, now I'm not sure how to migrate on JUST my iPhoto library. I think with the Migration Wizard, I spend everything (there is no 'triangle' to open on my name to select individual items).

1 if I do a full migration once again, is that it will duplicate all the files? (Obviously I would not like that...)

    2. I have my old computer always hung a Time Capsule... is possible to choose just the on the Time Capsule iPhoto library to move it to the new computer?

    Thank you very much!

    Carol

Carol, if you have rebuilt the iPhoto on the old computer library then simply put this library on a drive flash or DHM. Then copy it to the location where your photo library which is probably ~/Pictures the ~ indicates your home folder. Once the library has been moved to the new computer, follow the instructions to start with Photos for OS X - Apple support

  • Envy 15 t-j000 Quad (Intel HD 4600) video does not not in the graphics mode-small points on the screen

2 weeks ago, I started having graphic problems on my system. At that time, I was able to get to the login screen, and right after that I logged on, the screen started to Flash at a constant rate (approximately every second). To resolve this problem, I started in the Boot Menu (press ESC after plugging) and got the menu text. From there on, I could go to the beautiful little chart Menus Windows Startup Options. I used to do the restore of the system in July, and it seemed to work for a few weeks.

Now, when I start the laptop, it quickly goes to a screen full of dots everywhere and I don't see anything. I was able to get the basic statup listed text menu (info sys diags system,..., Starup menu). But when I tried to get menus based graphics, immediately when on screen with points, while I couldn't make the recovery or start options (like safe mode).

    Attaching screenshot.

The problem was resolved after a few calls to hp support.  Let me detail the issue and resolution to help anyone with similar issues.

In short, there was a problem with the memory DIMM.  I will detail the two calls to help you cope with the good help.  Or you can switch to dial number 2 to see how we diagnosed the problem of memory DIMMs and how to find the dimm (s).

Call the #1: when I first called hp support they felt it was that a hardware problem was not covered by the warentee.  They said it was know with a drop of water or something.  I assured them he was not and still once explained, I could get in text mode (command line, diags, information on the system) but nothing that showed charts and systems restores.   THE IMPORTANT THING HERE IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY KNOW WHAT ALL THE WORKS AND DOES NOT WORK.  THEY HAVE ALTHOUGH I NEVER HAD ANY VIDEO EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM ONCE.  I KNOW THEY ARE JUST READING A SCRIPT, SO BE PERSISTENT.

They passed me a material person that had run me some diagnostics on the system component (took a few hours and they called me back just at the moment where they said they would).   Nothing wrong was found, but they wanted me to try a full restore media, so the complete hard drive test.  Because my system has no cd/dvd drive, they me posted key bootable.  They express it sent and got it in 2 days.  Free of charge.  After getting the key files, I had the same problem.  It seems that the restoration program required more video memory than just the text of the basics of stuff.

Call the #2.  The person accompanied me thorogh essential process starts to make sure that I knew what I was doing, and of course, the video went wrong.  Then, she decided to launch a simple real diagnotics called the fast test (and not under the component test section).  Let me take a little more time to explain how to operate it.  That's what I did all this time to get the boot menu.

    -Start with the system off.

-Press the power button, then start immediately by pressing "esc".  This will bring up a menu of about 5 things.

-Choose the system diagnostics (you might have also hit F2 during but instead of esc)

-multiple options as system tests and component tests.  I think it was testing systems.

-In the following menu, they had a quick test.

It was a test of 10 minutes from all major components and it is made to find some errors and crashes on tests of memory and processor.   They had opened the bottom cover on my system (removed the battery to find a single screws of the cover and then pulled up on the screw tab until he put a few times and open) for me.  Under this coverage is the hard drive, memory dimm slots and the wireless module.  My system came with only one card of 8 GB memory in the lower slot.  I was installed and installed, so they had me remove and then put it in the top slot.   I put the batter7, he works and returned to the diags quck screen (by pressing ESC).  I went back to the quick test and now the system never finished and almost always hung.

He sent me a new DIMM memory, I installed it and everything started working like brand new.  Fortunately, the operating system was not corrupted by so many power-ups and had low power.  The only thing to complain to Norton, because I was not being updated or ran in a few weeks.

Also note: my system sharing memory with the video processor Intel shipped (even if my laptop has a nvidia gForce) sticker, so my guess is that once the system has changed graphis video mode it took more memory or he was hit a bad sector that she always used to memory at this time.  When it hit in the wrong place the video gone wrong.

Good luck to the level of similar problems.

  • Vista: All Windows updates suspended / "Module of Windows Installer has stopped working and Will Close."

On my installation of Vista, all windows updates no longer work.  If I try and run them from Windows Update in Control Panel one starts to run but then it just hangs.  At the same time, I get a message "Windows install Module has stopped working and closes".  If you look in the services, it is crushed, but restarts.  The update remains always hung.  It doesn't matter what update I try and run, I always get the same result.

When the computer is shut down, it also tries to automatically install updates.  These also hang on the first, which means that I have to force power off the computer.

Don't know if this is related, but I don't think that SP2 already installed - it kept if crush (don't remember what was the error message).  When I restart in safe mode it tells me that I'm still on SP1.  I followed all the suggestions on how to get SP2 installed for the error I received, but nothing has worked.

Do not really understand what I have really installed a lot of "_" on the PC, it is a "clean" installation (about 1 year now).

Any ideas?  Really, I don't want to have to do a re-install, but I suspect that is where I'm heading unfortunately.

    Hi AndrewInNZ,

Thanks for visiting the site of the community of Microsoft Windows!

I would like to ask you some questions for a better understanding of the issue:

    (a) did you try to temporarily disable the security software and check if updates are smooth?

    (b) you are using a firewall in addition in instead of the windows firewall? If so disable (temporarily) of the third party firewall and look for updates.
It is usually caused by a 3rd party firewall that it blocks the internal ports.

Check out WERCON for more information-

    1) Click START | wercon.exe type in the search box start and click on enter.

    (2) select "View problem history", under 'Windows identified problems' with the right button on a problem, and then select "view problem details. Click "Copy to Clipboard" export to text document

    Also reset the Firewall setting:

    1) Click START | type FirewallSettings.exe into the start search box | Click on FirewallSettings.exe above | Select the Advanced Settings tab. Click 'Restore Defaults ' | Click on apply (if Hi-lighted) | Click OK

Check the status of the service as well:

    Log in as administrator-

Start button | Control Panel | System and Maintenance | Administration tools

    Double-click on Services

(Provide the administrator password or a confirmation if prompted to do so.)

Right click on the 'Windows Modules Installer' service, and then select Properties.

Select the general tab - make sure that the startup type is manual

  • Digital Photo Professional 4.4.30.2 crashes every 3 minutes +/-

He always hung up at least twice per session, when editing RAW files, but since the last update MS, I use Win 7 Pro 64 bit, (08/08/2016), it's unbearable. 4 DPP suspended every 3 minutes approximately. • Computer hangs during the transfer of 16 jpeg files.

Recently, I replaced my Toshiba Satellite M40 PATA hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP SP3.  Subsequently, I find transfer more than 16 jpeg files (approx. 1 MB each) at the same time causes the computer freezes.  I have to shut down the computer and restart and sometimes the computer is 'always' Hung/frozen after restarting Windows (mouse move no keys, ctrl + alt + delete work does produce no action) which necessitated my stop down and restart the computer again.

This problem occurs during various methods of transfer-to transfer pictures from my card SD using the scanner and camera or Nikon transfer software, trying to copy and paste pictures from the SD in an empty folder, and the problem occurs even when I try to spend more than 16 images from a folder in another.  I tried to transfer images from a folder with the computer in safe mode and the problem occurs when I try to transfer a little more than 16 images at once.  (my SD card, has about 60 images on that.)  There is no error message or any other message - the computer simply crashes.

I did not have this problem before reinstalling XP.  There seems to be no limit to the size of the transfer that I could perform. I can't wait to find out how I can remedy this problem.  I am familiar with writing code, check the registry, etc, but I'm good enough following the simple procedures.  Thank you for your help.

Original title: file transfer causes XP to hang, no error message

    Hi RobertMorouney,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

In addition, how are you doing today?

You have a problem with the computer hung on the transfer of files on Windows XP. This can be very frustrating for you, and I appreciate the efforts you have put in. Let us work together as a team and try to get this fixed number.

    Method 1-

    Step 1-

Trying to transfer files in Mode without failure.

    Check out the link-

To start the computer in safe mode

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true

Note: Make sure that you get the computer back to Normal Mode after performing all the troubleshooting steps.

Proceed to step 2, if the problem does not occur in Mode without failure.

    Step 2-

I recommend you perform the clean boot.

Placing the computer in a boot minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must perform the steps in the article-

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: Make sure that get you the computer to a Normal startup after performing all the troubleshooting steps.

    Method 2-

I wish that you run a Chkdsk command on the computer.

    Check out the link-

How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265#Method1

Note: The Chkdsk command will try to fix bad sectors on the hard drive. All the data on these sectors may be lost. The computer could go to a State no boot as well. Proceed at your own risk.

We know if you need help. We will be happy to help you. We, at tender Microsoft to excellence.

    Thank you.

  • Connection of fax HP PS-7520 in a different room of the answering machine?

Just bought the HP PS-7520 all-in-One (print/scan/copy/fax/web) for my mother and have a question that never appeared to me before about the logistics of setting up the fax.

    1. its fax and telephone share the same single phone line.  (No other devices uses the phone line.)

    2. telephone service is digital, I think (if it matters).

The old fax (12 + years old but functional) has always hung in the room same base w main phone (answering w).  Now, however, being a part of the all-in-one device, the fax is located in another room (his computer HP Envy (w) so that the phone integrated answering machine w base isn't nearby into the traditional circuit.

Q: can you that fax be hung using one of the basics of phone in the House that does not have the built-in answering machine?

Fax can be connected to any extension, to have the answering machine pick up first, either off 'auto response' on the fax, or set the "ring to answer" to a number larger than the answering machine. I would fix the number 6 (answering machines affect usually 3 or 4).
