Analytical support Oracle

Hi all

I am using Oracle 10 g and would greatly appreciate your help with this.

Real data:

POS_NBR

DW_EFF_BEG_DATE

DW_EFF_END_DATE

EMP_CURRENT_POS_BEGIN_DT

POS_VACATE_DT

DT_OF_DATA_OR_SEPARATION_DT

Expected results:

  1. The goal is to find how long it took to fill an open position
  2. EMP_CURRENT_POS_BEGIN_DT-> date where the current person has joined the working position
  3. POS_VACATE_DT-> Date when the position was opened
  4. DW_EFF_BEG_DATE and DW_EFF_END_DATE are used in the warehouse for historical purposes
  5. We expect a record by POS_NBR with DW_EFF_END_DATE with NULL value

Hello

Here's one way:

WITH got_analytics AS

(

SELECT pos_nbr, dw_eff_beg_date, dw_eff_end_date, emp_current_post_begin_dt

LAST_VALUE (pos_vacate_dt) OVER (PARTITION BY pos_nbr

ORDER BY dw_eff_beg_date

) AS pos_vacate_dt

dt_of_data_or_separation_dt

ROW_NUMEBR () OVER (PARTITION BY pos_nbr

ORDER BY dw_eff_beg_date DESC

) AS r_num

FROM table_x

)

SELECT pos_nbr, dw_eff_beg_date, dw_eff_end_date, emp_current_post_begin_dt

pos_vacate_dt

dt_of_data_or_separation_dt

OF got_analytics

WHERE r_num = 1

;

I hope that answers your question.

If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) and also publish outcomes from these data.

Report when the above query is to give erroneous results and explain, using specific examples, how to get the correct results of data provided in these places.  If you change the query at all, your postal code.

Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

or I can run it on any browser?

    Thank you

Yes, there are, I think you have not simply to look properly.

If you open the spreadsheet of certification that I pointed you to:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/es/middleware/docs/Oracle-Forms-111220certmatrix-2087910.xls?ssSourceSiteId=otnen

  • Versions Linux support Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g

    Hi all

I want to just a list of Versions and flavors of Linux that supports Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g.

    Thank you
    Josiane

Use the certification tab in support.oracle.com. Select the product and release (IE. Database Oracle, 11.2.0.3.0) you want to check, let 'all' selected under the platform, and then click search. The results will be grouped for you. If you expand the Group of operating systems, you will get a list of distributions/versions for each supported operating system. I hope it's clear enough for you.

  • NFS supports Oracle RAC with TAF?

    Hello

NFS does support Oracle RAC with TAF function. ?

If so, please point to a valid document to prove the same thing.

    Concerning
    Sumit

TAF so nothing to do with the underlying and is storage architecture 'argued' with your choice of asm, raw devices, cluster file system and NFS. NFS is supported on some platforms. For more details, check the tab certifies in metalink. Some information can be found here

TAF will be available on any rac installation, but not all drivers support it (thin jdbc for example)

  • Laptop supporting Oracle 10 g on RHEL 4 Update 2

    Hello

I am struggling to find a laptop supporting Oracle 10 g on RHEL4 update 2. If the HCL Redhat shows some laptops... those are all outdated.
Now I find phones supporting the workstation RHEL 5 version. Is Oracle 10 g, taken in charge by this version of office? Kindly help me to find a laptop for personal use.

I'll even though it is Dual boot with Windows Vista / XP but who also want to if ensure that he takes in charge the OS as well. Please help me find such a laptop computer!

[PS: the search for an alternative other than VMWARE Windows]

I have a Dell Latitude D830 running Oracle Enterprise Linux 4.5 and 5.2 very well. OEL is equivalent to Red Hat Advanced Server in the same version number, so I don't expect a problem.

Since I also run several different fedoras, OpenSuSEs and Ubuntu on this machine, I suspect that the D830 also workstation Red Hat.

  • Political life support Oracle APEX 5/ADR 3

I looked at all at the time of the strategy paper of Oracle support to life

I'm curious to know if/when this will be updated with the latest versions of the APEX and ADR

    Hi Matt,

I think it was an oversight that the current version of the document Oracle Lifetime Support policy does not include the latest version of Oracle APEX 5.0.  The revised version, which I believe is set for publication by the end of July, he'll understand.  In the meantime, you can refer to our RTO page for the latest information of support policy to life for Oracle APEX, accessible via the learn more > guarantee section: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/learnmore/apex-support-1866620.html.

I have contacted the team development of ADR, to report missing information for ADR 3.0 on the document and I am sure that this issue will be resolved as soon as possible.

    Kind regards

  • Question about the ADF Version supported Oracle database

    Hello

One of my client's situation trigger this thread, they have a few Oracle 9.2.0.6 inherited instance, which turns out to be that a version of database not supported for JDeveloper/ADF 12.1.3, in this case, supports an earlier version of the ADF is the only choice without upgrading of database to 11.x for them?

And I'm also interested to know why JDeveloper/ADF confined its support to some version of database Oracle, thank you

    -Liang Yi

    Hello

If I'm not wrong then the Oracle 9i database is out of support since juil.-2007. JDeveloper and ADF certifies and supports the unsupported database versions or operating systems. So I hope that answers the "why". The real solution is to upgrade the database, because that's the reason that will block you for what your client is to move forward.

  • EM 12.1.0.3 does support Oracle DB 12 c as target database and repository managed?

Oracle has published the week last control of cloud EM 12.1.0.3.  The certification on My Oracle Support matrix lists not Oracle 12 c as a basis database target or taken managed repository support.  Is the matrix of evil cert, or Oracle has no version control of cloud that supports the database of 12 c?

    Thank you

Database Oracle 12 c is taken in charge as a managed target - but not as a repository. MOS is updated to reflect this shortly.

  • Question about the Java Support Oracle professional

We are an ISV in the Japan. We have products of commercial software that runs on the JRE distributed with our applications.
The JRE bundled with our application include JRockit and, sometimes, our customer of the unannounced JVM dumps core report,.
asked to perform the diagnosis and the requests for clarification on exactly what part of our application has caused the dump.
Unfortunately, we don't have expertise in the analysis of the problems of FMV and this is why we are not and we are looking for professional support, that we have.

Our question is whether Oracle offers any type of professional support for ISVS regarding including JRockit Java virtual machines?
If Oracle does, we would also like to know if we are eligible for the program they have, as we are located in the Japan.

The Oracle Java support, hopefully that's what we need, does not seem to fall into this category, because the details of the support program.
as we confirmed reading the FAQ document, deals with the named user licenses more and by processor, which were apparently to be purchased by the customer using our product.
Ask our customer to purchase the subscription just to use our application doesn't seem to be an option.

We would also like to note what our options are and other software companies to tackle the problem even how to manage any relevant question of JVM reported by their customers due to their applications on virtual machines Java runnig.

A few days ago we send the message similar to what precedes to Oracle sales email address, but we did not have all the answers.
Among the partner sales representative oracle actually told us the Oracle Java SE Support enough that we are concerned, that's why we bought the subscription for 1 year for nothing and now we cannot get a refund from Oracle.

Any response is appreciated, thank you.
If you are an ISV, please let us know your opinion.

    Haruhiko Nishi

You are asking in the wrong place. This is a user forum. I suggest that you contact your local Oracle Office. Locking this thread.
