Hi EightE1,

Welcome to the forums.

If please go to C:\Windows\System32, find and remove the amdocl64.dll of this place and move it to the desktop. Try to start and work with Prelude and check if it fails or not. If all goes very well remove the DLL from the desktop as well.

Kind regards

  • FCP 7 - file DCS stuttering on the timeline

    Hi guys,.

I'm having some very frustrating problems editing some DCS shot on a Nikon camera files. When I put them on the timeline, they stutter like crazy making them completely non-visible.

The file is H.264 at 23.98 frames per second and throughput of 2.3 Mbps. image size is 1920 x 1080. File size is 69.3 MB for a one minute clip.

I used a fairly powerful 2.26 Octo-Core Mac Pro, so would not imagine the computer is a problem.

I have even together the RT to "Use playback settings" but that did not help either.

Any help or advice massively welcome.

FCP - 7 never worked properly with the H.264 hardware.

As contributor forum Shane Ross has said, this problem is made worse because it seems like it should work, but it does not work.

You must convert your h.264 hardware in a change before ingestion as ProRes in FCP friendly format.

If you have a lot of material to convert, you can watch an app like change the loan:

  • import a film FS7 FCP 7

I had to edit some FS7 Sony 4 K footage in FCP 7. I read that it is possible, but not clear how.  Failed to get the FCC to recognize the format.

Are you a person operating on the Mavericks as your post says? You can play the file in Quicktime 7?  You may need to upgrade your software to support the new codecs - but anyway, to use in FCP - 7:

You need convert the source in ProRes files before ingesting in FCP7.

    EditReady is good for this:

    http://www.divergentmedia.com/editready

The resulting files will be huge.

Your other option is to spend on software more modern that supports files directly - such as Premiere Pro or FCP - X.

  • Where the imported video files are stored?

    Hello

Just changed CPF to PP. I know not to expect differences between the two programs, but I can't understand where PP stores its images in the camera once imported?

In FCP, you set the images to be captured in a Capture folder on a disk to work.

I have imported a lot of sequences now but do not know where the files are stored on the disks?

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you

    Josie

You must transfer the files from your power off on your hard disk before ingest via the media browser in first.

The only thing that makes the first is links to these files. Also first does not move the files.

They are always in the same place when you place on your computer.

  • Adobe CS3

can you capture and edit MTS files using Adobe CS3. Leave a Panasonic HD camcorder

Short answer: No. CS3 does not support avchd.

you need to convert before ingestion.

Level or invest in something like Cineform Studio Premium.

  • Skype "AppCrash" when you try to connect?

So I've had Skype since I got my computer and it worked perfectly, but now all of a sudden whenever it tries to connect, it is said that Skype has stopped working and in details, he says it's a "appcrash" so I uninstalled and downloaded again, but he continues to say that but still works fine on my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Please, run the DirectX diagnostic tool. Run dxdiag.exe (Start - Run or Win + R key), then press on enter or click 'OK '. Once the diagnosis is complete, "save all information...". "in a text file. Please attach this file to your message.

Be aware that you will have to compress this file before attaching it here.

You can also try a reset Skype to see if that solves the problem:

  • 06:37:40; 26 is the last image ingested in FCP7

I'll appreciate any help I can get.

I ran my AVCHD cameras 8 1/2 hours expect a seamless multi-came edition in FCP7.  Unfortunately, he seems to ingest the entire file, but stops at 2 hours before the film.  I've tried to set a 'in and' set out to ingest the last part and separately, but ingestion always stops in the same frame.  It's the same on all the files of four cameras.

I try to find a workaround and not having to buy software specifically to convert AVCHD to ProRes in FCP before, if I can avoid it (unless someone can recommend a free software that does).  I looked at Wondershare but they want $120 to do this, and I only need it for a film.  (After that I can simply turn the cameras off to halfway through, turn them back on and synchronize applaud again).  No need to run all day.

I'm running my FCP7 on a former mac without upgrading the operating system or internet connection ~ trying to keep for as long as possible.  I also hated throwing $1000 away from 'upgrade' to the software of inferior quality.  I have another mac to download a software for conversion if necessary, which is up-to-date and connected.

    Thank you!

I guess my last question is: If convert MTS to ProRes LT, I'll be able to move files directly in the sandbox and then use in the sequence?  FCP7 will accept them that way?

    Hi MiDeR

I agree with Gloria.  If you are having problems with the game even after formatting the hard drive and reinstall Windows Vista, the file of game, or a hardware problem happens with your computer.

It is the "only" problem that you encountered with the computer, with this game?
What Service Pack are you, 1 or 2?  If you have SP2 there, have you installed 1 SP1 and SP2?
If so, uninstall SP2 and see if the problem goes away.

Question: (apologies if this has been mentioned and I forgot), it's a game "online"?  Which means, you use Internet Explorer to play or there is an application that you have installed from the Web and it plays through the Internet?  I ask because if it is using Internet Exploer, then lets start IE without Add-ons.
Click Start > all programs > click surAccessoires > click on system tools > click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

I read on the net that it is a virus, Trojan or a bot, so I'm worried.

I am running AMD Phenom X 4 9100e quad core with Vista premium OS in a gateway RS780 MB.  I have Norton 2009, also recently installed (just before SP2). Everything is fully operational.  All scans clean.  Windows Defender analysis reveals nothing but the problem continues.  Several times a day.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Mike,.

Looks like a DLL file missing (SHLWAPI.dll) or the missing link between the Dynamic link Library & the registry entry. You should try to run the System File Checker tool, see below:

To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow (Yes there is a space after sfc) the sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway. Make it a great day!

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

    wileycoyote2,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

It would be useful to have more information about what went on when the accident happened as you listen to music, watch a movie, burning a CD. etc.  Thus, all information about your system would be useful

This could be caused by a number of things.  So without more information, we'll start with a few basics.

Any third party CD/DVD burning software can cause problems, especially if you have tried to remove it and it does not uninstall completely.  So if you removed something like Nero or Roxie, go to their web site and download a removal tool which will get rid of their overs left.

You might have corrupted the file system, we will run the system for that files Checker:
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

You can also try to restore the system to a point in time before the problem started.
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
In the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
In the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    Click Finish.
The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

Let us know how it works and the information requested if you would like more information.

That is to say, I ran the sfc / SCANNOW - the response has been "Windows Resource Protection not found any breach of integrity.
I also have it run individually on the 'cleanmgr.exe' file and the file "ole32.dll" response was also no violation of integrity
I also ran the check disk scan, it is also back as nothing to the report.
I tried to download another file "cleanmgr.exe" and also the "ole32.dll", but windows won't let me install them in the "system32" folder
Anyone know what to do next, please, I'm at a loss lol

    Hello

I suggest you upgrade on site. An upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system.
Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

  • Vista Home Premium SP2 multiple APPCRASH associated the mscorwks.dll file

Hi, I need help with the following:

I have several applications crashing (for example: HP Media Smart, HP Health Check, ATI Catalyst Control Center, MYOB GST transitional Assistant), and they all point to the mscorwks.dll file (the same ID of locale and code exception).  The error message is " has stopped working" and it appears before the program even loads.

Details of error among the APPCRASH s below:

    Signature of the problem:
    Problem event name: APPCRASH
    Application name: NZGSTAssistant.exe
    Application version: 1.7.0.0
    Application timestamp: 4cb7d7e1
    Fault Module name: mscorwks.dll
    Fault Module Version: 2.0.50727.4206
    Timestamp of Module error: 4bf4c6a7
    Exception code: c0000005
    Exception offset: 00076d 55
    The system version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 5129

    Description:
    Stopped working

I did a registry cleaning (twice) with Uniblue registry, I did a complete audit of viruses and malware, and I also did all the latest updates in the hope that the mscorwks.dll/s file would be crushed and fixed.  I initially (a month or two back) had one coming program with this error at startup. I ignored it because I still use the program.  But since then, more programs have been crashes with this error message and now it's interfering with some frequently used programs.  Is there any simple solution for this?  Thank you!

    Hey Chellse

one of the worst things you can do for your computer is to use a registry cleaner

the best you can expect is that it does not damage

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-click guest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

If the sfc finds issues it cannot repair consider to borrow a vista of microsoft dvd and do a repair installation upgrade
