Area 51 - R2, liquid cooling noise?

Hi all

I got a whole new area 51 R2 as a warranty replacement for my previous Aurora.

Is there something I have to ask the community here before he gets too late:

When I start the computer (and a few minutes after) I can hear the sound of liquid (liquid Interior movement) and let me know if this is normal. Area 51 seems to be much quieter, however, never heard the liquid through my Aurora Office.

Is there something I should be concerned? Is in normal?

Is it possible that the amount of cooling in the machine to be less that ideal and for this reason to hear the sound?

You guys can help me with this?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I also hear that on my area 51 - R2. I found this document in the section manuals X 51 - R3, "Alienware - x 51-R3 to liquid cooling" that applies to all Alienware liquid cooling units. In this document, he says,

"The sound is standard for all computers with liquid cooling units and . stops after a few minutes of computer use. »

"The sound of bubbling is due to the air that is in the coolant . Assembly. When the temperature of the liquid rises, it expands and the air bubbles in the tube are removed. »

Maybe that's what we hear.

Y at - it anyway how to determine type of LCS just by looking at the case?

We have old school Power Mac G5 DP 2, 7GHz (early 2005) we use for editing (well, for the last two years, he's right there and no one wants to touch this old piece of...). They will throw him in the year, and since I was take care of him for a while, I thought I'd take home when they do and use it as a backup machine for the data of my and my wife. I would like the max memory, put a few large hard drives (and small SSD, but there seems to be a lot of problems with this) and run the Linux command (more problems).

But first, I have to clean the machine and look at the State of it. What particularly concerns me is the LCS (DP 2, 7GHz I) - these things have been prone to leaks and what I found there are at least three revisions of the LCS - second of them made by Panasonic seems to be the most reliable. I can't look inside, deeply, because it must be ready to use at least for another 3-4 months, I can do is to open the case and remove the front fan and look outside the heater.

So this brings me to my question: Y at - it anyway to determine the type of LCS just by looking at the case?

    Thank you...

Apparently, there were two models more prone to leaks than others, although still very rare. See this http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g5/faq/powermac-g5-liquid-cooling-infos-fuites-issues.html

The damage inflicted by a system of flight are very serious, and it is almost impossible to hide or completely clean. As soon as you open the side panel on the Power Mac, you will easily be able to tell if this unit experianced a problem.

  • HP Z840 workstation: for Z840 liquid cooling?

I currently have a Z800 WS dual Xeon CPU and coolant.  I am scheduled for a new WS and watched the Z840 but I don't see an option of liquid cooling. I run the structural analysis software that allows me to analyze a load case by heart so more cores means a faster flow.

I was told that the faster clock speed and multiple real cores will be the best, so what will work better CPU and RAM?

Another question, is that HP has a Mobo that supports several consumers i7 cpu popular with a lot of ram? I don't know if the Z840 WS and processor Xeon is the best bet.  Are there other options?

There is no option of liquid cooling for z840 systems. With current processors, we do not believe that the system requires liquid colling option. HP get a kit rather than high-performance cooling liquid cooling in air. I don't know when, but not a long time.

The following quicspecs list the supported processors and the memory modules. This system supports INTEL® XEON® E5 and DDR4 - 2133 ECC Registered / RAM load reduced (LR).

For performance, it is not a simple question. It depends on your application such as processor, memory intensive, drive-training or other resource intensive applications.

  • Noisy liquid cooling system

I have a HP Clubhouse Phoenix with liquid cooling. The fan has become noisy. After 2 hours with assistance today to find the noise, we found whence he came. They gave me a part number 657398-004 or 657398-003. This part is not in stock, and they had no idea when it would be available. Google search has a share of provider, but this game is abandoned. My question is has anyone know of a system that I could use to replace that defective compatible liquid cooling?

    Hello 731coach,

I don't have a replacement for this part number, but if the fan itself became noisy, have you considered oiling it?

Most of the fans can be lubricated. Sewing machine oil works very well. Away from stuff like WD-40.

How to lubricate a noisy fan.

Again, don't know if that's what you want to say as being the problem, but if yes, give the oil trick to try. Google fixing noisy fans computer to view the videos.

    It will be useful.

  • Aurora - Premium option-DPN liquid cooling: 01YGW

Thought I'd start a thread to compile some info on the new Premium liquid cooling option offered in the Aurora R4 News (and beyond). I welcome any definitive info from Dell Reps or users of the forum (which has one in their machine).

Finally, some pictures of the bonus round-cooler (note, there no reference Dell Aurora R5 yet):

    http://www.alienwarearena.com/forums/thread/55035/hardware/Alienware-Aurora-R5-premium-cooling-explained

Photo (as of 08/01/2013) reviews are still showing the original Standard hexagonal shape cooler

    http://www.Dell.com/us/p/Alienware-Aurora-R4/PD.aspx?~CK = anav

    Some of my questions:

    1. is premium Cooler also made my Asetek as unit of hex - in original form-cooler which has been installed in the models of Area-51 and Aurora since 2009?

    2. if ordered from Dell spare parts... What is the part number and how much does cost Premium copper cooler round?

3 will be he existing R1 - R4 Aurora... pump/radiator (due to change in decision-making), but also the radiator Assembly?

    4. is it pin compatible with the Northern of existing R1 - R4, and it interface in the command center?

5 If you order an Aurora-R4 with ALX chassis (for an extra $200), is cooler including premium and is already installed? Site selling text says it does, but the configuration options ALSO allow you to add Premium cooling (as an upgrade for $100) on the ALX model top. So, who is?

Suggestion of Cass Ole, I took a 01YGW of STS-parts on eBay.

I'm not usually keen on 'work shot', but I decided to take one anyway in the case where I need it. After all, it is the 'Aurora Premium Cooler"(DPN: 01YGW) for $50. I still can't believe that my Aurora R1 system is almost 5 years old.

It happened fast. It looks almost new. I can check that the pump has required Black 7-pole plug, so it must plug into the MIO - Aurora 'Top lighting Commission' Commission without any problem. 4 - s piner of the radiator as fan (SYS_FAN) good. It also came with a sort of retention ring.

It seems that the whole radiator and fan is a slightly different size, the old Standard in my Aurora R1. If all goes well, the mounting holes are compatible and it will be just right-in screws where the old one was (when the time comes).

I guess I should have asked before that I bought it... but given that this is designed for an Aurora R4 and I have an R1...

Due to the change of processor socket, is that going to the adjustment/working on my motherboard Aurora R1... Intel i7 - 930 (Socket 1366) Intel x 58 Chipset... as a Direct replacement? Dell says it's only for Aurora R4, but I really doubt that this is the case.

  • T7910 part number, liquid cooling unit, Precision TMJK2

    Can someone tell me how I can find this;

    www.Dell.com/.../documents ~esupport-r7910-liquid-cooling-en-v1.aspx

I checked with the people of Dell parts and they have never heard of him, but this video installation is obviously from Dell. It is also as a T7910 NOT a R7910 who said in the URL.

Given that the other will probably also be eager to find that at some point... Here is a picture of one, the part number is 0TMJK2. Asetek is the company that actually makes it to Dell. its an OEM part however. You can not order or buy it directly from Asetek.

Good luck to order property. I finally have someone found at Dell who might actually find the part number, but it was out of stock. She said that the top price was $139.99...

  • Satellite C855-12Z - strange noise, even if the cooler is off

    Hello again,

I have a toshiba satellite c855 12z and I heard a strange noise even if toshiba pc health monitor shows that the heater is off, it's like an air blowing inside the laptop, you need 2 coolers? or can it be the hard drive? When I bought the laptop was very quiet, now I always hear this noise...

    Help please

It's always hard to talk about things that are not verified...
There are two things that could create a noise: cooling fans or HARD drive.
Cooling fans are not DISABLED the cooling module can run at a lower speed, but it is not completely off.

HARD drive runs too, but it should not create noise if the HARD drive is OK

  • Maintenance of cooling liquid

about a year and a half I picked up a HP Pavilion HPE h9-1170 computer, the model I got is cooled by liquid and recently I had shutdown problems (which I think may be due to overheating) I currently running with the box to open (and I can see fans for the radiator and others are running fine) but I was wondering if maybe there's an additional maintenance for the cooling plant) filling and such) that it takes, and if so, how would I go to do (never had a liquid-cooled machine before this one... so explain it to me like five im ) any help would be appreciated

    Sparky, welcome to the forum.

Everything I've read, coolant is a closed circuit and requires no maintenance.  However, I would clean the dust out of the system.  This will substantially reduce heat.

  • Liquid workstation HP Z420 cooling soloution for Intel Xeon E5-1620

I had a series of accidents on my Z420 rendering of 3D models and usually all while using the software 3D (cinema 4 d). It uses 100% of all 8 cores when rendering and it overheats and crashes, without notice. I am wanting to study the HP liquid cooling solution but I can't find anywhere online, I really didn't have a clue where to look all of this and I really hope that someone can help out me here by specifying where to buy because I can't even find anything on the site of HP? I'm not ready to change the affinity of cinema 4 d at least hearts because I am told by the computer scientist he will simply overheat it anyway and it will be 100% longer which could lead to huge problems. Oh and a software that strangles the process won't work because I am running windows 7. Any help will be massively appreciated!

    Hello

HP offers a cooling liquid for certain workstations. You can contact the HP Support or sales of HP to see the availability of cooling water for your particular model Z420. Check this page 6.

E5-1620 has four cores (eight threads using hyperthreading).  See the above referenced manual page 3.

Check with the manufacturer of application software and find out what they suggest to help with your problem.  A processor with multiple cores processors help? Are there other means and technology (SSD or a faster video, TESLA GPU processor card) that will help the rendering process?

  • Cooling liquid - HP Pavillion Phoenix h9z Desktop

I bought a h9z HPE Phoenix today online.  I ordered the heatsink / fan for cooling.  I don't do games, but I do a lot of design, photographic achievements and editing with adobe products.  Should I go liquid cooled by option, for my needs, or am I ok with what I ordered?  Windows 7, 64-bit.  Thank you

    [Personal information]

    Hello

Unless you are at the wheel of the processor in very high to extreme use then the typical heat sink arrangement should suffice.

The latest versions of Adobe do most of the rendering through the video card.

  • replacement fan on the cooling system liquid on HPE h9 - 1215t Office in Phoenix

Speak with technical support, they identified the fan on my liquid cooling on my new computer does not work correctly.  It does not start by itself, but if I give it move a bit, he starts and is still spinning.

Does anyone know the numbers of replacement parts and where to buy one?

  • Cooler liquid secondary market SYS_FAN and CPU_FAN Question

Hello. I would like to replace my 3 + year, cooler Asetek stock in my R4 Aurora with a Corsair H75. From what I understand, two corsair fans caught in the rear slot of SYS_FAN Strip high close to the rear of the case and the cooler itself plugs in the CPU_FAN slot in the center of the Strip.

Can anyone verify if this is correct and I will avoid boot problems/errors?

FYI, I uninstalled Command Center and political use of cooling of Windows to manage my time. He really did a great job. My i7-3820 Sandy Bridge E OC is 'ed to 4.2 GHz between all four cores and my time difficult to reach the 70's low. I am simply by changing the stock cooler as a preventive maintenance measure.

I installed the Corsair H75 and 16 GB of G.Skill Ripjaws X series 1600 MHz. everything works perfectly. My times are a solid 20 cooler during benchmarks and games. Couldn't be happier!
