  Only the Toshiba himself knows why they have updated the driver. Here it s only a user to user forum so I doubt someone can answer your question because only this is no people of Toshiba.

  But why is it so important? If you n t have any problems you can forget the driver updates. This is only necessary if something doesn't work properly.
  Theoretically the new drivers don t contains bug fixes and supports Atheros WLAN cards. Who knows?

  So, be a fool, I accidentally uninstalled the Atheros driver, and then I noticed that my laptop is therefore more able to detect my WiFi at home. After looking around, online, apparently it's because I uninstalled Atheros? (Sorry, I'm a noob to computer).

  So I try to download the driver for my laptop, but I can't seem to find where to download the driver. My laptop is the Satellite S50D - A - 10 G, and I do not know where to look. I tried to look on the Toshiba.com site, and they said that my serial number was invalid etc..

  Advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated!

  Thanks for the solid recommendation; your post on the removal of the Dell printer provided Killer drivers (wireless network and ethernet), and then update directly from the site of the murderer himself worked like a charm.

  So, for anyone who has an Alienware 17 R3, or face a similar problem with BSOD by Killer drivers, I can confirm the work of solution of this TCOLE334 and fixed my issues surrounding network causing BSOD drivers.

  Now if only we can get our BSOD problems resolved with the Dell SupportAssist program. Starting from 04/03/2016, I'm waiting on an update of PC Doctor directly (I have been in contact with them for the last month now and work with them to try to resolve this breaker program.) I emailed plant minidumps, memory.dmp, newspapers, etc. We'll see. Patience is a virtue!)

  If the chipset and its capabilities powersaving is no better supported you must live with temperatures a little higher...
  but it's a long way at the end of specification - your system should run stable - check it out!

  for the problem of wlan: go and find a driver/module for your wlan card, I guess it's a intel...
  or change it with a model better supported by the operating system.

• Satellite pro A60 - Atheros WLAN undetected

  It is an old laptop, I work for a friend, and I have fixed most of its problems, but there are still some that I can't solve.

  The WLAN adapter is not detected, the computer is adamant that no such thing exists.   I thought about the possibility that he never had a WLAN card, but then why is there a light in the front, a mention of it on the side (a kind of light that says OFF on one side and WE on the other, but it's not a switch or anything like that from what I can tell) and the combination Fn + F8 shows a WLAN image (but in fact does nothing when I press on it)

  Are you sure that this model of laptop has onboard wireless network card? Each notebook with WLAN car has a WLAN sticker in the lower corner. Is this one?
  As you know wireless network card should be detected and indicated in the Device Manager. Have you installed OS with original restore CD?

  It seems that the aircraft had WB335 WLan Atheros 802.11bgn card.
  I think it depends on the standard WLan that is selected and used by the Access Point.
  As mentioned above, the WLan card supports the standard 802.11 b, G or N.

  I think you should check what WLan standard is used by the WLan router.

  802 11 B and G operation to 2, 4 GHz,
  802.11 N works 2, 4 GHz and 5 GHz, but only if 802.11 standard would be supported by the wireless network adapter. In your case, it s not picked up and therefore the standard 802.11 N would operate at 2.4 Ghz (20 MHz bandwidth).

  You can change the WLan standard in the properties of the WLan module.
  -> WLan card device manager-> properties-> Advanced tab
  Here you will find the various options.

  Also in the last tab power management, you must deselect the option which disables WiFi in order to save energy. So make sure that is not marked.

  Last but not least attention to the parameters of encryption like WEP, WPA (TKIP, AES, I, II).
  Different encryption settings can affect connectivity.

  Maybe your laptop has a Realtek or Intel WLAN card inside. Specification of your laptop does not for me so I can't say with certainty what WLAN card is inside.
  Try to install other drivers and check in Device Manager.

  I just bought the HP ProBook 440 G1 free BACK. I have intalled Windows Pro 8.1 and installed divers downloaded directly from the center of Support of HP in this link. For the wireless drivers, I realized that the I have the QCA9565 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and also Qualcomm-Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 QCA9565 adapter, so I downloaded the latest drivers from here (1.00) and here (11.0.752.0) respectively.
  
  In a few minutes using the laptop, I noticed a steady decline in my internet connection. I checked my router and everything will, work well with other gadgets. So I searched the Internet and found the same problem for other models. However, here and here official HP solutions, apply is not for my Qualcomm-Atheros. I even tried to install the drivers updated in these solutions, but nothing is happening because they are specifically desgned for the Mediatek combo (Ralink).

  Finally, you also you know that I've updated the BIOS with the latest version (01.20 REV. (A). can someone help me solve this problem please?

  If the research on mine, I found many new versions of the driver that is compatible with my QCA9565 WiFi and Bluetooth component as listed by the official support from HP.

  I started with this:

  With the latest driver I have no problem at all, everything works fine. I suggest you download and install the bundle complete 276 (for divers bluetooth too) and then just update to 297 driver through Device Manager.

  I hope this solution helps someone else; because HP does not have any solution at all.
