Hello

Please refer to this document from HP support.

  • Auto boot PXI DMM

I use NI PXI DMM 4065/4071/4072 with MXI controller to measure the current continuous on my device.

I am very sure that PXI DMM are not initialized because the device could not be activated at PC startup

Is it possible to auto initialize PXI DMM when I start computer, as do the autonomous way instruments?

    Hi Adam,.

I think you could do this by building
a VI to set up your DMM and then placing the VI (selected to run
When opened or configured as an executable) in the startup directory
    (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Menu\Programs\Startup). Hope

  • Boot disk Windows PC7-1235

At some point, it will be my hope that HP will find the problem because this is my 4th computer in 3 weeks.

This a #4 came direct from HP (this time) and the other 3 came Frys. The problem:

Run it and it goes to black screen and said: diskette to boot Windows. Choose an opperating system and press ENTER.

Returned, tonight the turned on and he crossed updating registry 400092 (updates) re started and the Windows startup disk.

Here is the picture: (the white boot disk Windows wrote on top) the next Strip white windows 7 wrtiien on it.

Nope, no disc in the player and this is day 2 with this computer.

This must happen 3 other computers since July 14

This HP one sent, thinking that maybe Frys had got a bad batch

but you can imagine my surprise when he did today.

With the first, I would say about 22 hrs and phone with support.

they had me to do what they thought. then when the other arrived,

I just re packaged and returned.

The good folks at frys done overall upward on the 3rd, I took it to the House, that we worked for a day

then whenever it started, he went to this screen. I called HP and they sent me to another.

So here am I with I guess a problem this same HP cant fix. Could be a bad batch?

I'm trying to downgrade my system 8.1 to 7.  I followed this thread else for instructions, but I can't get the laptop to begin on my usb key.  I have

I formatted the USB using rufus uefi gbt fat32 parameters.

    I tried other ports.

I changed the BIOS to enable and disable secure boot.

I changed the USB boot first order.

Some things are coming out as to potential problems.  Since I formatted the Flash drive in fat32 can I Legacy enabled or disabled?  In addition, there are two different usb options listed in the order of startup and more options a legacy boot order and a uefi boot order.

    Any advice?

I tried to use the usb windows startup tool before I went to Rufus and he failed in the end.  I tried again today and it failed.  Change the auto boot doesn't work anymore.   However, when I pressed the ESC key at startup, I could choose F9 to boot options.

  • VM doesn't qutoboot upward after the restart of the ESXi host

    Hi all

I environment, there is only a single Cluster. The Cluster has an ESXi host. all virtual machines including vCenter VM are resides on the ESXi host. When I reboot the host can all VM does not start?

For comparison, there is a different environment, there are two Clusters (Cluster 1 and Cluster 2) in vCenter, Cluster 1 has two hosts ESXi Cluster 2 has only a single ESXi host. vCenter runs on the ESXi host residing in Cluster1.

When I reboot the host residing in Cluster2, all virtual machines may start automatically.

is that any expert can explain the difference? Why single environment can auto boot VMs when both of these environment has a host to the Cluster and cluster activate HA service?

environments are executed at the ESX5.5.

You will need to check the box allow VMS to start and stop automatically with the host system and then change the setting on the edit tab, and mention what needs to be done for each machine.

  • System does not boot, get the white screen after preparation for auto repair

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite with Windows 8 and yesterday there were some ongoing update and must restart.  When the computer reboots, it took some time and then I got a blue screen (very quickly) who said something as she encountered a problem and needs to fix (it is really fast and I can't see the whole text).  Then goes and comes back as it is booting (with the toshiba logo) and he says prepare auto repair.  Then it goes to a white screen. I tried to get into the HARD drive recovery (power with F12) and when I select HDD Recovery and confirm Yes, it just goes to a blank screen.  I went into the Setup utility (powering now F2 while) and has chosen default install and who does not either (although it has fixed the problem with my keyboard backlight does not). Support of Toshiba said that it is the operating system, not the hard drive.  But I need a drive recovery media that will scan all.  Anyone know other options?  I have a disc of recovery of a Microsoft coming 8 Pro (dell).  Would it be an option, to use it (I got it on a flash drive) and start-up of that?  Thanks for the help.

    Hi John,.

    Thank you for the update.

Given that you want to use the Windows 8.1 recovery disk, you won't perhaps able to start Windows 8 using Windows 8.1 because the computer may not be able to find the files of Windows 8 start to recover.

Yes, you pouvez install 8.1 Windows using the recovery disk. However, you may not be able to perform the upgrade option when installing Windows 8.1. When you click install now and follow the instructions, you must choose the Custom Advanced option to continue installation. Choose Advanced custom options will create a folder in the C: drive (or any other partition when you do not want to install) named the Windows.old folder which expected to have all of your files and documents of previous installation and are accessible.

Make sure you have the drivers available for the devices installed on the computer as network card, drivers etc. of video card you install Windows 8.1.

Hope the information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

    Thank you.

  • Unable to boot to the desktop does not work auto repair

I recently updated my windows 7 to windows 8 and now the PC is stuck in a loop of auto repair of windows 8. The PC does not the same page and there is no way to start the PC in safe mode (as you can when you get a virus). The repair just doesn't work.

I have read various other forums (and it seems that this is a common fault) and I tried all the things suggested on the command screen but none of them work.
Anyone know how I can fix this without losing my personal data - I have over 10,000 photos on the PC and do not want to lose any of them. So I really don't want to uninstall it and wipe the data.
    Help, please!
    Thank you

    Andrew B. salvation,

Thanks for the reply with more information.

We have of Windows 8 installation media or create an installation media.

Once you have the disc, follow the steps above and try to rebuild the configuration Data (BCD) start.

Note: If the computer is newly purchased, it would be preferable to contact the computer manufacturer to address this problem. (If during the warranty period).

Here are some measures that could help solve this problem.

I suggest you to rebuild the BCD (Boot Configuration data) fromcommand line and check if that helps.

    1. Insert the installation of Windows 8 media and start the computer using the disc.

Note: You will need to consult the computer manual on how to set the CD/DVD drive as the first boot device in the BIOS.

    2. Once you start using the installation disk of Windows, on the installation of Windows 8 window, click on repair your computer.

    3. click on Troubleshooting and Advanced options. Select command prompt. Enter the following commands to four in the command prompt.

    Bootrec /fixmbr
    Bootrec /fixboot
    Bootrec /scanos
    Bootrec /rebuildbcd

Once the order is complete, restart the computer.

    Hope this information helps.

  • Auto deploy hangs to the pxe boot

    Has anyone seen this error before?  AutoDeploy hangs during the boot process.  It loads iPXE, retrieves the URL https://my.autodeploy.server:6501 / vmw/rbd/tramp.  It crashes and eventuall fails when trying to post to/vmw/rbd/host-register? bootmac = ${mac}

I restarted the server autodeploy. Run vmware vsphere auto deploy v5.1.0.4058 version 774808.  My next step is to upgrade auto deploy later.

    autodeploy.png

Did you use stateless-cache option (defined in the profile of the host). This would have created the partition on your drive, remove it and try.

Another possibility could be, downloaded to autodeploy image would be corrupted.  Download the image once more with the name of profile of different image and set to host and try to start the stateless person once more.
