• Second battery charge no more than 29% on Portege R200

  I borrowed today from a friend (who has a Portege R100) its extra battery pack, model PA3155U-1BRL. Unfortunately, when I put it on my R200, it started to load, but stopped at 29% and does not load above this percentage.   After abut 500 times charge and discharge procedures the battery will discharge slowly performance.

  I think that you should simply replace the battery with a new and check if it helps to solve your problem!

The only solution I found is to turn the power off, disconnect the battery and back again. Then everything works until the next time.

  It is possible that there is a problem of electronic power supply. If the power supply microcontroller detects an error lamp DC IN sends a code flashing (8-bit error code). Can you please check it if the led blinks 8 times sending the code?

  You can try to contact the Service partner, explain the problem and I'm sure they can give you a clear explanation.

• HP 10 G2: Do not get the battery charge icon

  Just got a new Tablet 10 2 HP and tried to charge the battery for the first time. Online user manual deduces that the Tablet is not on to load. So, I'm not turn it on. The USB cable is connected with the Tablet off the coast.

  According to the user manual, when I plug in the USB cable I should get a small icon of recharge of the batteries in the upper right corner of the screen, but I did not. The screen remained black for nearly 30 seconds, and then a large battery icon displayed in the middle of the screen, indicating approximately 56% of the fees. This large battery icon remained on the screen for about 10 seconds and then the screen went black again. After a little experimentation, I discovered that I can get the large battery icon to display on the screen momentarily by briefly pressing the power button. When I type the swtich the large battery icon appears for about 10 seconds and it shows the current percentage of charge.

  It would be nice to get the small charging of the battery icon in the upper corner of the screen just to know that the Tablet is load... rather than having to hit the button on / off whenever I want to update load. Is it possible to get the low battery charge icon or is that determined by the version of Lollipop? My Tablet uses Lollipop 5.0.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

  Each Android HP Tablet I belong to, or borrowed (as part of their program of experts) has not lost any charge the battery by displaying an indication of charge "all the time".

  Looks like your tablet is behaving normally.  State of charge is displayed when you ask.

  The battery will begin to charge if the adapter has been connected to the laptop and it will stop the charge process after the adapter has been disconnected or if the battery is full.

• Y40 - 70 won't hold battery charge

  I plug, 100% load, unplug the unit. Bed 100% charged battery. About 15-20 minutes later, computer laptop stops suddenly with a dead battery. When I plug it back in and get it restarted, it shows the battery charge again, 0%.

  Completely load, use it until it is empty, then charge again.

  I live in the United Kingdom and hope someone can help me here. I have a problem with my laptop Satellite A60 where it will no more work on the power adapter as the laptop power light does not illuminate and not fed, it.   Then, you can do the following:
  Remove the hard drive (to save your data) and sell the machine on ebay. After that, buy a new one. :)

  or

  Bring your machine to repair and pay good money to make your machine working again.

  I had a recently updated T440p to level to win10pro win7pro. Among other things, the most annoying is the battery charge mode: I put it in "custom load thresholdd", between 55% and 85%.   I found a 'strange' way of trying to solve my problem: I have read in this forum about someone else whom the battery was not charged as it should, and the notice was "try to degrade your power managememnt driver and power manager.

  So I thought ' why not? ' and the last 36 hours, I installed Power Management Driver 1.67.03 and Power Manager 6.67 (with windows 10 Pro in a T440p).

  Until now, looks like it works well. After many restarts, my battery is at 85% and fails to demand, as he has done with PM8. I'll wait a few more days and let the community know, in case where someone else facing the same problem.
