  I did, between guest day in Obiee by using this statement: link. It works well, but I need to manipulate different in a different column, for example:

  Results of the analysis (sum):

  Explanation of the results: column A contains the sum of 2011 and 2012, it is ok and works well. My problem is the B column; I want to use prompt EndDate, but ignore the prompt StartDate, the result should be 400 (2009:100 + 2010:100 + 2011:100 + 2012:100).

  Do I need to use this prompt EndDate in colum of B?

  I found the solution! Here it is if anyone else have the same problems:

  1. create guests: startdate and enddate

  2. then call created invites in the formula editor:

  new user of the Z10, his job very well, I just had a small problem or issue. What is the difference between data services being on vs calls in roaming?   1. can you clarify what kind of virtualization is that?

  Is this complete para virtualization or virtualization very light maybe virtualization as containers for Linux?

  2 what specific OS (Android, iOS, MIcrosoft?)

  3. can I access both private and company data at the same time?

  4. is it using CPU extenstions (accelerated material) for virtualization?

  5. is it possible to create more customers?

  Please go to the Task Manager > processes and at the end of the task that says Logtransport2exe. After closing the task try to update again.

• Difficulty ping between the hosts and guests

  I want to establish network connectivity between my host OS (XPsp3) and my guests (CentOS5.5 and Windows 7).

  So far, I can ping between guests, but not between host and guest, or comments to the host.  When I try, I get a message "destination host unreachable".

  When I configured my virtual machines in a first time, I put them to 'Host-Only' and I need to keep it like that for the purpose of what I do with them - which is the problem?

  Ipconfig and ifconfig outs of machines attached.

• How can I activate the network between my guests on merger 4.1?

  I just started with VMware Fusion 4.1 and I want to create a local network for testing. On VMware workstation, it is pretty easy to do, but on the merger, it will not allow the traffic between my guests.

  I have 2 linux guests running, both with ssh service active and upward. I can ping each of them and also the Lion OS guests but I can't ssh to one guest to another, he said that there is no route to the host. I can ssh to OS Lion for guests.

  Do anyone knows how I can activate more ICMP traffic between guests?

  Well first of all let me say that I have no problem making a ssh session between host comments, comments to the host and or guest invited on Mac OS X Lion and VMware Fusion 4.1.1.  So I would say that you do not have something properly configured and if you use Fedora, the first thing I do is the firewall and disable SELinux, at least for the connectivity test, then go from there.

• Guest account cannot use HTTPS in Internet Explorer

  The machine is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. It is joined to a domain.

  Recently, I made the active (built-in) Guest account and he gave permission to log on interactively.

  We had the same problem. We needed to use the guest account because we wanted the account to automatically erase between guest users, but didn't want to deep freeze authenticated our users. For us, the problem was that guest doesn't have read access to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft.  Once the comments had read access to this key, both Chrome and IE were able to use the HTTPS protocol.  Also antivirus Microsoft CEP started working again for the guest user.

• Communication between virtual and real session

  A virtual session may communicate information to the real machine? In other words, if a virtual session running can I send a message or a text to be saved on the actual computer?

  I'm under v VMWare Workstation 7.1.1 on a PC running Windows XP Pro.

  Sure! I'm not sure what exactly mean you by 'send a message or text' but you have several options:

  By default (depending on how your virtual computer was created) under the virtual machine settings > Options > Guest insulation, Drag and Drop and copy and paste are enabled. This allows you to freely drag and drop and copy and paste between guest and host operating systems. If these are not enabled, you can activate them. It's one of the ways safer and easier to share data.

  You can also create, under the ' Virtual Machine Settings > Options > folders ', a file shared between the two. Although some do not recommend this for reasons of performance and security.

  You can share files over the network by using shared folders, just like any physical PC 2 would be to share files. If you don't know how to do this, there are a lot of tutorials on the web.

  It is a bit more advanced, but you can also share a real physical drive (see the user manual). It is the least secure method, but offers the best performance if you regularly share huge amounts of data (several tens or hundreds of gigabytes).

  We have five dashboards for the project accounting module.
  
  For all five dashboards, we have five different guests. For a couple of guests, we have selected default values and this varies between guest a dashboard to another.
  
  Now the question is, when the user navigates in a dashboard to another, assuming that from 1st to 2nd, the 2nd guest of dashboard takes the dashboard 1 values prompt as value by default even if this isn't what we have selected as default. Why is this happening?
  
  Ex: Gel is the guest of the dashboard and we have two values 'February 20, 2012'-'March 15, 2012' as values.
  (1) dash 1st time values were chosen as default values for the user.
  (2) for 2nd dashboard only 'March 15, 2012' has been set to the default value.
  
  However when the user navigates to the 2nd dashboard, dashboard 1 values appearing as default which should not happen.
  
  Hope my explanation is clear, can someone help me on this.

  You can try, on your dashboard guests change the scope of "Dashboard" to "Page".

  It is a Question: is somehow the link speed of the host not to limit the speed of the link of a guest (VM) access the HOST?

  What happens if we have a host that is equipped with a 100 Mbit NETWORK card and a guest who has a virtual 1 GB card NIC (Intel Pro 1000 thingy). OF COURSE the guest CANNOT reach the external network (Physics) with the speed of 1 GB or vice versa since its limited through the physical NETWORK adapter of the host...

  BUT... The Question now is... WHAT the maximum performance of such a guest if we want fair access network-HOST Services itself? It is a local connection, I guess. What speed can be achieved here?

  Background:

  I have here a host FAT on Ethernet 100Mbit, 16Gig RAM, 2 x Intel XEON CPUs, Debian 5.0.1 and VMWARE 2.0.1 4core. My guest inside is also Debian 5.0.1 with a 100mbit NETWORK card PCnet32 virtual thingy. My host can read data from local raid with about 120 MB/s (mega bytes/s). My guest (using iSCSI to enter the Volumes on the host and so using the internal virtual network) can read about 11.2 MB/s of the host Diskdrives.  It made me courious, since ~11.2MB/s is on a 100mbit NIC maximum flow. But it is a BIG difference on performance. BTW: the same client can access data files of local virtual disk of GIS (vmdk) by AT LEAST 120 MB/s (local caching disabled). So, where is the limit and the bottleneck?

  Any ideas/suggestions?

• Sharing a CF pool among the guests: how? GFS, something else?

  I want to create a storage device shared between guests fiber channel. The host can see FC storage so how the guests? Sharing the pools with a fileserver over Ethernet is a no-brainer, but I want to save that bandwidth for other things, the data on CF.

  So, how one share a FC HBA among the guests

  on the host? I see that I

  can add a disk, who can point to the SAN device. Thus, if each guest

  for example have been invited GFS clustering, everyone could see that the storage

  You do not share the adapter by itself... You will need create a physical RDM mode for each guest, pointing to the same number of logic unit and then configure GFS for the device to each virtual machine.  You can't do that with a VMDK.

  CF adapters are capable of the multipath.  Just be sure that the two adapters see the same read on the same drive/target numbers and ESX will do the multiple paths for you.

  Yes, you can switch between & and & in need to make changes in the file globalfiltermessages.xml OracleBI\web\msgdb\l_en\messages. Switch between & and under informed to kmsgGFPBetweenXandY (search for this file) in the globalfiltermessages.xml file. But this will effect between guest using it anyway. It shows & where ever you use.

  Perform the backup of this file before you do. Stop BI Server before you make changes.

  I had initially sync Contacts & calendar of installation via the USB port.  Initially, everything worked OK.

  Calendar - 2 way push/pull.

  Then a week ago that ran the update of the calendar, reported changes to update. Once accepted the Desktop Manager software has crashed with a command prompt to send the question to Microsoft. I uninstalled the BB desktop software. Guaranteed clean registry etc. entries. Reinstalled BB Desktop Software.

  Calendar synchronization failed.

  Then tried a little nudge to go - diary of Lotus Notes to BB.  Ran OK.  2-way push/pull fails.

  Any thoughts on what is the cause would be appreciated.

  Well, strange person, not even VMware guys come on this subject. IMHO is a really interesting thing, I almost always use shared folders between guests and hosts, it's so easy and simple WHEN IT WORKS.

  The fact that no-one comes on this thread, show what I think always: products like workstation are profoundly less used, average people IMHO use 30/40 per cent of the potential software.

  Then, with a few hours and a few Linux guests many kind in hand machines (work with tools in both modes, hgfs.ko or fuse), investigated and found how it works by myself.

  This is what I found.

  Recent versions of VMware Tools for Linux now seems to check the fuse package installed on guest system installed and when they found him, they try to use vmhgfs-fuse (formerly an Open-vm-tools executable) to mount hgfs actions without the need of the hgfs.ko module and so without needing to compile the module often broken kernel. For example, hgfs.ko thin build up to kernel branch 4.4 and it is broken again on 4.5.

  The script vmware-config - tools.pl also seems power - also when it detects the fuse package - properly configure autostart for hgfs share.

  That's all, and it's very useful for me. Hope it will be for others.
