  UNFORTUNATELY, THIS NEW QOSMIO G20-123 HAS TWO PROBLEMS.
  I WILL ADDRESS THE TWO ISSUES AND THE RESPONSE THAT I RECEIVED FROM TOSHIBA LEBANON (WHERE I LIVE) I HAD THE EXPERIENCE AND THEY HAVE VERY GOOD TECHNICIANS AND SERVICE.

  FIRST PROBLEM: WIFI CONNECTION
  I HAVE THE APPLE AIRPORT EXPRESS AS ACCESS POINT, WHEN I CONNECT THE QOSMIO WIRELESS ACCESS point IT STARTS WITH a SPEED OF 54 Mbps THEN IT COMES down to 1 Mbits/S.i. HAVE to PRESS THE BUTTON REPAIR so that the speed is up to 54 Mbps, and then a few minutes later, it comes down again once at 1 Mbps.
  SO FAR I HAVE NO RESPONSE FROM TOSHIBA ON HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

  The first error message means usually the floppy (connected storage device) has data corruption.  In this case, the data on your iPod is corrupted.  And this is the probable reason for the second error message in iTunes.  OS X has made the iPod read-only disc, so iTunes is unable to write new data.  It is not really a problem of "permissions".

  You should probably do a restore of the iPod using iTunes, if you're OK with deletion of the iPod and re-sync it (you can post if this isn't OK).  This erases the iPod, reinstall its software and sets it to the default settings.  The restore button is on the recapitulation of the iPod settings screen in iTunes.

  Well, that was incredibly annoying, I'd post the solution here in case others run into the same issue. It turns out that my network password has a special character that this device cannot handle. I removed the number sign (#) in the password and now it connects very well.

  I switched it back to a test of fix-it-break-it-fix-it, and the pound sign is most certainly the problem. I changed to another special character (to prove it is the characters in the password, not the length of the password) and the WiFi works fine now.

  As a sidebar, can someone please update this forum site so that it works with browsers most? IE 9 does not work with the textbox control that is special to this forum.
