black screen on restart

Hello, I just bought an AMD Compact HP X 2 255 PC with windows 7. The problem is that if I have to restart my computer when you are prompted for example what update or installation of software or security update. The windows logo is displayed instead of ask password to start the screen turns off with the only thing working is the mouse pointer. Everything stays that way until eventually I have to manually turn off the turn and turn it back on then everything is OK. In other words by clicking on restart turns off the system, but goes to white screen only when restarting. Forward a solution... Thanking you

Check the number of cables connecting your monitor to your pc.

If you have the white plug with screws (dvi) and blue connector screws (vga), then unhook the cable vga of the computer and the monitor.

  • Black screen after restart of the Bootcamp Assistant

    Hello

I understand that 10 Windows is not supported with the MBP Late 2011 officially by Apple, I have it working earlier today and had no problems at all. I tried to add another partition for windows side so that I would be able to install Deep Freeze on Windows have a clean install of Windows every time that I boot in there and have all my programs and files on what would have been called "Local D.

I deleted the Windows partition and I deleted the first player who had only 200 MB normally created from windows which I believe that holds the MBR for the old Windows Installer install. I tried to create 2 different partitions in disk utility and that the load bootcamp. He said well obviously not, because the reader must be around to do this, I did the road together again, put my Windows 10 disc in and let bootcamp.

I wanted the reader to have 51 GB of bootcamp, that I would use 300 GB for the 'Local D' drive and the rest of the SSD 1 TB drive, I got OS X El Capitan. If at this point, I have X amount of GB to OS X and 51 GB will be used so that the wizard has done for me, once the wizard bootcamp is made, it will restart OS X and brings me to a gray screen. Normally, it's just going to continue in the installation of Windows, but it takes me to a black screen and does nothing else. Is this by far where can I fix? I even tried simply to launch the installation of Windows Installer directly from the drive itself without going through installation of bootcamp by holding ALT and selecting the drive and he finally took to the installation without any problem and now it goes to a black screen and does not change even.

And for those wondering, no I do not get a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of my screen. Its completely black.

You have deleted the EFI Partition from Mac. Not a very good idea. She does not hold the MBR. Your Mac uses a hybrid MBR. The MBR and the boot for Windows Manager are two separate entities.

Disk utility is now considered an invalid drive due to a missing EFI partition. How did you again the reader "XV"? If you start from W10 in the optical drive, it is no Bootcamp involved more.

Please after the release of the following Terminal commands.

    diskutil list

    Cs diskutil list

    sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt to enter your password, and there do not appear to come back. You can also see caution against improper use 'sudo' and the potential loss of data due to an "abuse" of the order.

  • Windows Update: 1 or several updates made a black screen after restart

So I have this problem for like 3-4 months ago... You all a long history, he gets to that: an update of specefic is originally that when I restart, the computer still works, but the screen is all black. Not even a light down there!
    Someone knows this problem?
The update that I am sure that all this is cause:
KB929729 (a security update for Microsoft .NET Framework, version 1.1 SP 1) - I think this is the one, but could be one of these schools:
KB957000 KB952714, KB929735 - all these are just regular updates for vista x 64-vista systems

I have the laptop to fix where I bought it. They said that the problem has been resolved, but it didn't. Well, the computer worked as if after I came, but after a Windows Installer update, the system crashed again with black screen.
Fortunately, I was able to use an ERD to do a system restore to before installing the update.

    MY LAPTOP SPEC. :
Windows Vista, home Edt. (SP1 has not been installed now, but had SP1 when the 1st problem started)
Processor Intel Core Duo CPU 2.4 GHz
    4 GB of Ram
    NVIDIA Geforce 9650 GT

OK, I'm pretty sure it's KB929729 (a security update for Microsoft .NET Framework, version 1.1 SP 1)
She is marked as an important update, hope that I can live without it?

Anyone had a problem in the past to have a black screen?

Have had a Sony Vaio VPCF11JFX/B for 2 years now and noticed this problem 3 days ago.

Whenever the laptop might restart out of hibernation it would show me only a black screen and light green power.

Had unplugged it and took out the battery with now the off button for up to 1 minute, but it's still doing the same thing.

Don't know how to troubleshoot it.

Many would like to advice helful.

    Hi Ameli,

First of all, download and install the utility to update the BIOS from here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=VPCF11JFXB&upd_id=5818&os_group_id=6

Then, download and install the updated video driver here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=VPCF11JFXB&upd_id=5577&os_group_id=6

Then, perform a restore of the system to an earlier time when it worked very well: http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C1003813

Then, perform a full system recovery to restore your computer to factory settings. Restart the computer, keep pressing the F10 key continuously, press on enter key at the start of editing option, Recovery Wizard, select start and click on ignore VAIO Care rescue (if you do not want to back up data) to start the system recovery process.

Note: You can perform system recovery if you are using the same operating system installed at the factory. It is necessary to backup all data before performing the system recovery as it erases everything from the computer.

If the problem persists, contact Sony Service support here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/service.pl

  • Black screen then restarts randomly

    Hello

I just bought this system about two weeks ago: it is HP 110-243w desktop, product # is F3D4AA #ABA and use

    Windows 8.1.

My problem is whenever I play a game, simply go to the black screen and then restart to sign on the screen (windows). I am currently using IE11.

It's very frustrating to say the least. Yes, I respect the requirements to play this game (Big Fish Games). The viewfinder of the game I play on. This started to happen a few days ago playing a different game on the same web site. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Just to note: I'm new on windows 8.1, another computer is Vista and have no problem to play on this one here.

    Thank you

Thank you pamorgos for your reply. I'll try as you suggest and change browsers. If nothing changes I wouldn't it.

  • BLACK SCREEN THEN RESTARTS

This happens at least once a week.  I have a dell laptop.  When closing or opening files, everything goes black and it restarts automatically.  Here's the signature errot to get it:

    BCCode:100008e

    BCP1:C0000005

    BCP2: Bf8046BE

    BCP3: 9 517408

    What is the problem?

    Hello

Update your driver, BIOS and any software of control and then work through the troubleshooting services
    above if necessary.

Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, this leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who will be generally
be older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it) and
Then, get new ones manually if you wish.

  • Equium M50-244 blocks black screen then restart

I am currently in a laptop for a friend he pays a month of repair of malfunctions on his laptop, world pc so he sent 2 times back and the above error is still there

the laptop started to hang and make the mistake of ati bsod

now, I tried to clean the system and reinstall xp, I'm so far through the installation and then it crashes

then when I try to reboot the screen is all black and if I try a monitor is just the same

also crashes for the memtest86 + after that about an hour from cold start or 10 minutes of a boot hot and the laptop does not warm start

What is CPU or gfx questions?

can someone please tell me what to do

    Hello

This problem may be related to different hardware parts
You said col didn t of memtest86 + test correctly although this means there could be a RAM problem.
You said that the screen becomes black and a BSOD with ATI error appears also that this would mean that the graphics chip is not ok

It would also be possible that the temperature high inside the cell affects mobile functionality eventually the graphics chip becomes hot and that is why temperature affects the RAM and the laptop freezes.

What to say if the graphics chip is the reason for this while the whole motherboard must be replaced and a motherboard is not cheap

Maybe you need to find a second hand M50 and could replace the motherboard in order to test it

I have an Iphone 6 s 128GB. The iphone automatically restarts with black screen and there is no particular application I use when it crashes.

If the restore does not solve the problem, it is high time to take your device at the Apple Store for more diagnoostics. This may be material / display problem. Good luck.
