  I seem to have a problem similar but different enough to justify a new thread. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and after the connection, I get a black screen with a cursor that can move normally. However, it becomes more complicated as everyone else. I uninstalled my video drivers, now, I have to reinstall because it wasn't the problem. System Restore was only a restore point on March 1, which did nothing even though the computer was working fine, March 1. I do not have the Windows disc, I split the cost with a friend who's in Arizona that I know, and he has probably lost the drive now.

  Please help, my office is useless like this. I'm on a laptop, and I have a 512 MB USB key, if something needs to be downloaded on the desktop.

  Hi I restarted recently a r2 2012 in esxi 5.1 windows machine managed by vcenter. After restarting the machine is black display screen. In safe mode without problem with video.   I tried the troubleshooting as advised in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2897632 method. but only the first update (Windows8.1 - KB2887595-v2-x 64.msu) is able to install in safe mode.

  Boot the computer normally and log.

  IM wondering, anyone having this problem before, Im of the problems with this black screen after startup, it happened yesterday I think microsoft needs to have updated some drivers rendering my black screen after startup. Initially, I thought it was my SSD, but it turns out that I can't get into Safe Mode.

  I read more info on this problem related to the other PC and try the preferred method of 'disabling' drivers Intel GMA HD. It worked, however, this means that the main driver is now reduced to a graphics card video standard with vram limited.

  I tried to roll back and even redownloading and reinstalling the intel driver in version VGA_Intel_9.18.10.3215. The blackscreen after boot have yet taken place. I missed something?

  If these steps did not work, try the rest of the other measures in the document to restore the BIOS and update the BIOS if Windows does not start a section of the document updating the BIOS .

  If you can get into the BIOS at all, you can try to reload the default settings? To reload the factory-installed BIOS configuration settings, perform the following steps:

  1. In the BIOS Setup utility, select the tab out.

  2. Select message Load Setup Defaults.

  3. Select Save Changes and Exit (pressing F5 and the Enter key will also load default configuration).

  4. Press ESC, then press Enter to exit the installation program.

  I was trying to upgrade windows 7 on a laptop HP Windows 10. The first attempt was via the white windows logo in the taskbar.   I upgraded from win 8 to win 8.1 and charge upward to my connection. Once I connect the stage is empty with no office or whatever it is. My only access was with the Task Manager and from there I was able to get to the control panel but I can't restore to previous Winows. I was able to get online and I tried to switch to the window 10 and it loaded but unfortunately do not have a product code to win 8. And I don't have a product code to win 10 or win 8.1.

  Just because you use the key F11 to restore to factory does not mean that the recovery partition itself is not altered.

  Suggest you try instead the recovery discs or take it to the shop for advanced diagnostics.
