BlackBerry Passport frozen in the start-up / stop Mode

My passport is stuck between to turn on and off.  I don't know how it started, but now the Start button / stop for long periods does not work.  I tried a factory reset, but of course, he didn't stay long enough to be recognized.  The link downloaded a new version of software for device, but for example, there is no charge.  Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like I dodged a bullet!

I left the device plugged into the wall charger and walked away.  I checked on it in 4 hours and the phone was on and had a load of 48 percent!  I have no idea what happened to cause a discgarge rappidly, but all is well that ends well

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Black horizontal lines on the LCD screen at a specific time during the start and stop

Hi, I am currently using a Presario CQ61 Notebook PC.  My problem, as indicated in the title, are black lines on the LCD screen, apparently when the screen is reset or enclose itself turned off during the start and stop only. From the judgment, he produced a split second her stops the hard drive, after that the screen is black. The lines and then quickly disappear. At startup, lines appear after the Windows logo has passed and the screen went from black to start loading the login screen.

The LCD is in perfect condition, all using the PC. No line, no discoloration, etc.. Nothing extraordinary either. The problem does occur only during these two periods, specifically. I am also unable to note the lines when I'm looking directly at the screen. I have to be standing next to the PC, at an angle.

Now, I had this PC for a considerable amount of time, however, I never paid much attention to the screen when starting upwards or stop, so this could definitely be something that the laptop has done since I bought it. I also read on similar problems, and it could be an outdated video driver or BIOS.

I want to just make sure that it is not a major problem. Thank you all!

  • BlackBerry Passport stuck in the new edition of BB money configuration Passport

    Hello

Just got my new edition of the Silver Passport, but it does not accept my login for Blackberry ID already at the beginning of the configuration I'm stuck. Very frustrating, I try (for a view hours now), he says "use the blackberry ID, the phone has been configured with" mean, it is a new phone... and I use my own work always good BB ID. what

I checked my BB ID on the internet and sometimes it works and sometimes I see:

    The service is temporarily unavailable.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please try again later.

    www.BlackBerry.com

    www.BBM.com

Then sometimes it works on my PC, but it does not work on the new passport of BB, what's the problem?

    Hello

Given what you describe, two things are at stake. (1) your device is running the latest 10.3.2. Direction of the BONE. (2) your device has been previously implemented by someone with a BBID, and they do not properly activate the anti-theft function before they wiped for delivery to you.

There is no way around that. The anti-theft function requires the same credentials BBID as already associated with the device, unless that is disabled before ERASING (or OS reload, etc) is launched. Once initiated, only these credentials prior BBID will be accepted.

Your recourse will be with the seller for you to the device. They provide you with the credentials that you need, or they take the unit back for refund/exchange/repair.

  • Installed Windows 7 and now can't start Wow, the cursor is frozen on the start screen.

I tried to restart, resettlement and to plug and unplug the mouse, made sure that all the drivers are up to date! What now?

    Hi navvar,

Thanks for posting of Windows 7 community.

I suggest to start the system in safe mode and check if the problem still persists.

Also download the current drivers and update the firmware of your mouse.

Step 1: Perform a clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.

    b. click on start to reduce this includes this ima, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

    c. collapse this includes this ima if you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click continue .

On the general tab, click Selective startup , and then clear the Load Startup items check box. (The box use the Boot file is not available.)

    d. on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft services check box and then click on disable all .

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    e. click OK , and then click restart .

  • royally botched vista, will be only the start in recovery mode is not serious what I seek

right, I have got myself into a right 2 and 8 here. After a long and boring fight with a virus that blocked my internet and evaluate in system32, I finally managed to remove it completely. but, after his retirement, vista started crashing when I went to connect, resulting completely garbled screen. safe mode has started very well, unless I tried to activate the networking, audio or one of my ladies of virus, which caused its lockout and plant too.

I took it to a friend at a repair shop who have kindly pointed out that, although I had removed the virus completely, or I seem to have also deleted a large number of system32 files, including the rundll32.exe all important. It recommended, as I disabled the system restore, I run the vista recovery partition to repair the damage. I did, but in my haste, I think that he overwrite some files, do not know that and now windows of only starts in recovery mode, choose any option. Even safe mode gets in the middle of the commissioning before she also starts the recovery program.

Oh and here's the strange thing, when vista crashed in the newspaper, the screen (in the background) was quite fuzzy and pixelated, but the mouse was not and in fact, was very good. This makes me think that it is perhaps a lack of graphics driver also, driver, or who could not run because of rundll32 or one of the other DLLs where missing.

So, what should I do? I have a lot of important files on the machine and I don't want to lose them. I have my vista disk, could I start out of it and run a repair by it? or if I can reinstall vista only? or I'll lose all my files in the procedure?

You can do a repair on Vista installation - but you must start Windows.

    Here is the link: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html

I have a lot of success with this and usually sugest (like vader95) that you back up your stuff and do a new installation.  We don't know what you're missing, and you're going to be fiddling around with him for always (IMO).

    Good luck!

    Hello

Try to connect the laptop to the external monitor to check if pictures or anything else appears on the second monitor?
You can also try to use the FN + F5 combination to check if the display will change back to the internal display.

But look, man, if you are not successful then I guess there must be a serious hardware problem and only the laptop technician might know what's wrong.
